Is this Virtual Credit Card Number software a website or a stand alone application? If stand alone, then I would recommend installing the Active X (Internet Explorer) version that you can download here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions

I use Adobe Access for protect content. And work in flash player 11.7
but with flash player 11.8.800.168 other version in IE i have
only sound but black video screen.....
I dont understand why...
i package my video with anonymous authentification
i can play in the player test come with access in this version but not with my osmf
who work with 11.7 but not workin in 11.8.800.168

Chinese file names are broken in Flash Player 11.8.800.168

Hi everybody:
In our web product, we use a flash plugin for legacy IE browsers (such as IE8 and older) to support better user experience to upload files. Today, after we upgraded to the latest Flash Player version 11.8.800.168, we found FileReferenceList object cannot return correct Chinese characters in "Select" event for all the files with Chinese file names. It seems the files are not correctly encoded. It happens in all the operation system, all the IE browsers, as long as the Flash Player version is the latest one. And we tested in the older version, such as 11.8.800.094, the problem didn't happen.
We believe it may affect all the Chinese users, and we guess the Korean and Japanese users will be affected too because our languages are similar. Today is the first day for the new version, so the problem will happen in greater range in the following days after more and more users upgrade the flash player. Can anyone help us on this problem? Many appreciation for the help!

The Flash Player team is aware of the problem and are actively working towards a fix.
The problem affects all Unicode and other wide-character scripts.

[11.8.800.168] Entire Control turns into Button Click

Since the 11.8.800.168 update the file upload control we use (demo here: http://www.plupload.com/example_jquery_ui.php) turns the entire control clickable in IE 8. Anywhere you click opens a dialog box to select a file. Clearing cache fixes the issue until the next time the page is hit or refreshed. This has appeared on multiple systems using both Win7 and WinXP.
Rolling back the update seems to fix the issue. Any idea what caused this? How can we give the user a better solution to the problem?

Could you please open a new bug report on this over at https://bugbase.adobe.com? For what it's worth, I gave this a try with XP and IE 8 but couldn't reproduce the problem. I was only able to get the dialog to appear when clicking the "Add File" button.
Once added, please post back with the URL and I'll have the team give it a more comprehensive look.

RSL error #2032 with IE8, Win7 Flash ver. 11.8.800.168

I have some users that are getting a RSL error # 2032. The only ones getting this error are running IE8, Windows 7 and have Flash Version 11.8.800.168. Users running IE9, Windows 7 do not get this error. Is there a solution to this?

No, we are not able to repair IE. We are controlled by GPO. Would you happen to know of any GPO that would cause this error in IE8?

Detect mouse click in FlashPlayer ActiveX

I'm hosting the FlashPlayer ActiveX control (Flash9f.ocx) in
a VB 6 application. The OCX exposes the following events:
FlashCall, OnProgress, OnReadyStateChange and FSCommand. It does
not expose the traditional Click, MouseUp or MouseDown events (for
example) so is there a way to receive mouse click events in the
hosted application?
Also, I am unable to find any documentation on the FlashCall
event. Any ideas what it is and how it works?

I need 11.8.800.168 in order to work with SMART Notebook, but 11.9 is forced

I need the older version 11.8 as the new version of Flash Player disrupts my ability to provide training for SMART Notebook, however when I try to install the older version I see an error message stating that it is not the latest version and can therefore not be installed.
I have removed all other versions from my computer which runs on Windows 7.
All my students (teachers) encounter the same problem and now the teaching software stops teachers from using their prepared lessons. This is an urgent problem.

Adobe Flash 11.8.800.168 stopped working

I can't watch any videos using Adobe Flash anymore since yesterday.
I have online classes and need to watch class videos.
Youtube videos also don't work anymore.

If it happens again:
If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
