Flashplayer/shockwave in Zynga games on facebook
Does anyone have a definitive answer to the problems with Shockwave Flashplayer when playing Zynga games through facebook? I've tried so many different suggestions from different sources without any permanent success. I'm using Google Chrome on Vista (contemplating a new laptop with Windows 8 - will that be any better?).

Since upgrading the the newest foxfire i am now unable to download the Zynga games on facebook or going directly to the website. I went to the Abobe flash player setting and the box is checked to allow 3rd party to store data. So what is the next step. It was working fine until the upgrade.
Any ideas? The issue is still occuring, but seems to be intermittent, though it seems to be occuring more and more often. The only work-around I have now is to do a hard reset, which resolves it temporarily, but the error comes back soon after.
Any suggestions? -
Why do i have to keep updating my flashplayer to play my games on facebook when i have like 10 times
Every time i play on my facebook games i keep getting messages that say i have to update my flash player...I have done this several times. i finaly got to a spot on your website and tried to upgrade the sapce but it doesnt stay...need help cuz there are certain games i love to play but they dont work so well i have a HP minni noteboook with only windows starter....it says my flashplayer is on and working fine but i still get those messages and i keep downloading the flashpayer product PLEASE HELP.........................thank you

When you play Cityville (Zynga Games) from Facebook and want to send presents or ask for request, a box comes up with the request and usually all of your friends show up. Every since loading Firefox yesterday the box comes up but my friends names do not load. Everything else is OK.
In Firefox 4 and later [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Safe mode] disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver. -
How can firefox load a complete page of a game in facebook instead of halfpage?
When I play zynga games in facebook (mafia wars), the page won't show completely. It starts normally but the game won't show completely even if I scroll down it would still be incomplete.

I've been using Firefox 4 for ages and previous versions before that. I have done nothing today to cause what is happening. I ahve not updated Adobe. Nothing has been installed or added or even uninstalled.
Today when I go into Zynga games on Facebook, it says (not responding), my screen goes white and my CPU and RAM go mental. If you watch in Windows Task Manager - the normal for me when Firefox 4 is running properly is 121,000-330,000, however, today as soon as nothing is happens and I have the white screen the figures jump from 330,000 in steady increments until my RAM is maxed (I've a powerful Sony Vaio with dual cores and a decent CPU). I eventually had no choice but to abort through Windows Task Manager as it had reached 1,400,000 and was still climbing!!!!!
Why????? I've done absolutely nothing different today to any other day!!

I have windows 7 Home Premiun 64 bit bit computer & I use Google Chrome to play games on Facebook & Zynga. My Shockwave on my computer is 32 bit. How can I update so I won't have any farther problems?
Shockwave Player is strictly 32-bit only.
Most games on Facebook and Zynga use Flash Player, not Shockwave Player.
Flash Player is 32-bit and 64-bit, but you need to run it on a 64-bit browser.

If I have more then a few tabs open such as gmail, facebook, and a zynga game no tabs will load at all. I close and reopen firefox numorous (Im talking 7 or 8 times or many more) and shut down the zynga game and still it wont load the tabs or if it does and I then try to add the game or any other site at all on a tab it causes firefox to stop working (though not close) and I have to restart opening and closing it many times to get it to work at all.

After months of not being able to finish New York, the bottoms of the tiers allowed me to finish out that level.
Made it through Cuba just fine.
Then into Moscow, the same thing that was happening in New York is repeating in Moscow, but not in every tier.

Screen shots would be too numerous to try and load into this message. Too large a file.I am having the same problem with Treasure Island and PetVille. When I click on the "Play" tab on both of them, I get a blank blue screen; however, I have no problem playing any other games like Sorority Life. So why is the new version of Firefox having an issue supporting Zynga games and Internet Explorer isn't? Would reinstalling an older version of Firefox fix it, and where can you get an older version to download?

a couple of weeks ago i noticed a real slowdown when playing Zynga games on FB. opened task manager (XP) and saw plugin-container.exe running at 400,000+ k. ran search thru windows and found plugin-container for mozzila. checked and updated all plugins but issue persists. disabled each plugin seperately while playing, with task manager open and disabling shockwave was the only one that had effect on plugin running. unfortunately this also crashed the game. know its not your plugin but any advice or directions would be appreciated. ( my husband's solution is the simplest of course but i really enjoy my games!) Thanks for your time.
