FlashWPG in Photoshop CS2 - how to edit it?

Hi to everyone!
Last time I installed third Flash Web gallery to Photoshop
CS2 v.9 My OS is Windows XP SP2. And I don't know why my e-mail
address on generated gallery doesn't work (after click on it,
nothing happend). Here is link to my gallery:

If I prepare gallery in Flash Web Gallery 1 or 2 this link
working fine (my default e-mail client opening new message window).
Somebody have any idea why it doesn't work and how to fix it?

But when we open this pll using text pad, I opened it just to see if there are more headers than I can see in forms builder, I found there is one more $header apart from two visible in forms builder.This is likely becuase when you compile a Forms object it stores PL/SQL Byte Code in the file. Perform a PL/SQL Find and Replace operation and search for the semicolan ";" and replace it with the semicolan ";". This will invalidate all PL/SQL blocks in the Forms object and drop the stored byte-code. Save your file and then perform your search again. My bet is that you will only find "two" instances of "$header" after this.

Can someone tell me how I can find this header and edit it.I tried editing in hex binary editor, but after saving ,it stops opening in form builder then.Never use anything but an Oracle supplied editor (Forms Builder or the JDAPI Java Library) to edit your Forms objects. There is control code stored in the files and using a different editor will corrupt your Forms files.

[Adobe Photoshop CS2] How to make a layer round like a circle?

Hey there, I have a png-file, which shows our bandname (http://i.imgur.com/qbrWWs0.png). I now want to shape it like a circle, because we want to print it on buttons. How can I do that? I already tried it with the warp tool, but that result isn't satisfying. Thanks in advance.

If you have the font you can easily create a circular path to put the font on. may be easier to read then the Polar distortion

Photoshop CS2 How to save after using channels

I'm using a tutorial called Creative Focus with Lens blur to blur the background of an image. I can follow the tutorial through to the the Depth map, but can't work out what to do after that. I apply the settings for the depth map but can't go any further. What do I do with the channels to save it?

I realised that when I click on RGB channel to select it, after making the depth map, that the alpha channel wasn't turned off as the tutorial said it would be, so turned it off manually. Yes I see the [OK] button and used it. The whole image appeared to have blurred to me, even although the depth map was white where I wanted it to be in focus.
After I used the [OK] button the image reappeared, so I flattened it in "layers" and saved it. A warning appeared that I had an alpha channel there and could only save a copy. Am I supposed to delete the alpha channel, or make it active again, or something else?

Can't Access Supplementary Editing with Photoshop CS2

I was a user of Elements3 for a long time mainly because I liked that the catalog's "edit with" feature worked with Photoshop CS2. I recently got a new PC with Windows 7 so I could not install PSE 3. I downloaded PSE9 trial version to see if all worked well and it was worth the purchase. The problem I am having is that I cannot seem to get my Photoshop (CS2) as a supplementary editing option. When I try it tells me this
But if I don't add it like it says, there is not a Photoshop option when I go to the "edit with" list.
I don't know if this is right, but from the little bit of research I did it thinks I am trying to add Elements again because the Elements program exe file starts with "Photoshop" so when it reads the Photoshop.exe file it thinks it is a duplicate. I tried creating a copy and renaming the Photoshop.exe file which almost worked. Elements allowed me to select it as a supplementary editor and afterwards Photoshop was an edit option. I tried to edit a photo with it and while the program opened, it then got an error message and ended up closing before the photo came up for editing.
Can someone give me a fix to use Photoshop as my editor. I really liked how I could edit in PS and keep a neat catalog of edited versions with the Elements versioning capability. If I can't do it I probably won't end up purchasing the PSE9 program.

I have the identical problem trying to use Photoshop as the editor from Photoshop Elements 11.
Please can some-one let us in on the secret of how to get PSE to recognise that a full Photoshop is installed.

How to import B & W from Photoshop CS2

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so be gentle! <g>
I'm trying to make a slideshow, mixing color and black-and-white images. All of these images are scanned, from prints or slides. The b&w images are then converted from 16-bit RGB to 8-bit grayscale, then edited in Photoshop CS2, then imported into iPhoto.
(Just as a sidenote of possibly dubious relevance, the color images begin digital life as 16-bit, the grayscale as 8-bit.)
These images look fine as 8-bit grayscale images in CS2, but when I import them into iPhoto, either in a batch, or individually, they show up as black rectangles. If I click on the rectangle, I see a negative of my image.
This used to work ok, before I upgraded both to CS2 and iPhoto 6. How can I get this to work again?
I have both a 15-inch G4 Powerbook, and a dual 2.7 GHz G5 PowerMac, running the current system and the same version of all software. The PB has 2 GB of RAM, the tower 3.5 GB.

It is not clear that he has imported it as wmv or pdf, but the slideshow has to be imported in such a manner that it can still be edited (Captions, effects etc.)
Creating a wmv or pdf will not allow the same.
Any Ideas?

I upgraded Photoshop CS2 back in 2006. How can I buy and install the upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop?

I currently have Photoshop CS2 and purchased and installed an upgrade for it back in 2006. It has not been upgraded since and now today when I tried to access it I get a message saying I have to reactivate it but it won't allow me to do that. How can I upgrade my version of Photoshop?

CS2 is totally outside the upgrade loop. It doesn't qualify for anything.
However, you can still install CS2. You just have to download a special CS2 version, expressly meant for CS2 owners, which requires no activation and also the new key number for that special edition; your old serial number will not work, the new one only works for the new, modified CS2 version.

Adobe decommissioned the old CS2 activation servers, then generated this workaround for CS2 licensees.

How to edit a PDF in Photoshop CS4

Hi there,
I'm having some real trouble trying to figure out how to edit a PDF in photoshop cs4. So i need to edit/change text, move things around, that type of thing.
I work in Windows.
Could someone give me a bit a low down on how this is done?

You can open them but you will totally rasterize everything.
PDFs are not intended to be edited. They are a final format but as
mentioned you can use Acrobat for some minor text edits or use it to
extract the images to Photoshop for further editing.

How to edit a track/route in an image w/ Illustrator CS2

I have an aerial image in a .JPEG file which shows a GPS track/route. I would like to enhance/alter the appeareance of this track/route in the image file using Illustrator CS2. I have tried to manipulate the track/route using Photoshop CS2 but it does not seem to work very well, especially when trying to manipulate the track/route in the manner I wish.
For example, I would like to be able to select the entire track/route using Illustrator and then possibly increase the thickness of the track/route, change the color and most importantly be able to change the appearance of the track/route to appear as a dashed or dotted line. I do not wish to change the size or shape of the track/route as it currently appears on the image. Any suggestions on how to most efficiently achieve my desired goal(s) using Illustrator CS2?

Using Illustrator and Photoshop CS2 on a Windows PC

Illustrator is not a jpg editor.
There are 2 things you can do....
Use Live Trace to trace the jpg then adjust the shapes for the track. My guess is this won't work well at all.
Use the pen tool and draw the path yourself. You can then completely adjust the path all you want.

How can I select printers in Photoshop CS2?

Hi all. First time poster, as I've just come across a new problem for me....
For years I have been using Photoshop CS2 on a Windows XP machine (in a work environment where old hardware attached to the PC would not allow for an upgrade). I had 4 printers installed (desktop HP, brother labels, richo for bits and bobs and an Epson WFP 9700)
I had the HP desktop selected as default, as this is the one I print to every day. From Word, PDF;s Outlook etc, everything goes to the HP.
When I used Photoshop installed on XP I had an option form within Photoshop to select printer. (Print with preview / Page Setup / Select Printer) I would often design some artwork and print in draft mode on the HP, then swap printer within CS2 and select the Epson to print a 44" etc.
I have today upgraded to a Win 7 PC (Xeon 5450 dual quad core) and used the very same installation package to reinstall CS2 on the new machine. There is no longer the option to choose printer from WITHIN Photoshop. I have to set the default printer from within windows before I can use it in CS2. This is incredibly annoying as I frequently swap between two printers from within the application.
So...does anyone know how I can get that option back? Swapping from within windows is not a solution; this is in a work environment and needs to be accessible from Photoshop.
Any ideas?

Officially, Adobe no longer supports CS2 and doesn't recommend using it on newer operating systems since it pre-dates them all by several years. Can you install CS2 in XP Compatibility Mode? Even then, some features may not work right. It's too old.

It will depend on the image. If it was one that was saved as a psd file and has layers (window>layers) {Look in the layers panel and see if you see a layer with a thumbnail that looks like a large T} In this instance, you can double click on that thumbnail to highlight the text then type in its replacement.
If the image is a jpg which does not support layers, transparency or live text, then that would mean that you need to use the selection tools to select that text and fill it with the same color as the background. You can then use the text tool to type in the text you want.
Remember to save a copy as a psd file so you can edit the text at a later date.
