we are implementing new HR Analytics using Universal adapters HR Payroll subject area.
where can i get the Flat files which are designed and delivered for Universal Adapters which contains the Field names etc.
i searched in web and found no clue of it and neither on Metalink.
please help

Create a flat-file upload for a BO XAI Inbound Service?

Hello all,
If we don't have a schema defined for a BO XAI Inbound Service, how can we create the XSL and the flat-file upload schema file for it.
Any advice?

I don't have problem to create the XSLT mapping.
But because it is to create a flat-file upload for a Business Object XAI Inbound Service, it doesn't have a schema on the server as to the thread Create Schema for Business Object to use for XAI Inbound Service?
And I can't create that flat-file upload without a schema on the server.
Or I can use the BO XAI Inbound Service WSDL instead to create the mapping for the flat-file upload.

Hi, when connecting to a server in Dreamweaver that is set up
for Contribute I keep getting this message when putting files:

SAP r/3 flat file upload for KP26

Hi all,
Any help would be appreciated.
I am uploading data for SAP transaction KP26 from a flat file.
The structure file requires a BDC_OKCODE. What is the code for the Screen Overview button (F5) ? If nobody knows, could you tell me how to find this code?

Hi, ive recently just built a brand new computer and purchased windows 7 64 bit. the system runs fine except for the fact that i cannot install any games (these include command and conquer 4, red alert 3 and sims 3. i go to install and partway through it stops with a message saying:
"the cabinet file 'name.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD ROM, or a problem with this package."
At first i suspectd a faulty cd rom drive, but the same thing happend wen i tried it with another drive. i know the disks are fine because theyr new. iv searced online and tried things such as disabling the antivirus, going into command prompt and deleting the .....\SQMClient\DisabledSessions as administrator and anything else that was recommended, but it still cant seem to like cabinet files (btw when the installation stops it doesnt always stop on the same .cab as a previous attempt, sometimes it gets further through the installation than others). they install fine on other computes with windows 7 64bit.

New EDI Implementation - Flat File format for SPSI in eCommerce Gateway

Hi,
we are trying to setup EDI with a business partner, goal is to import a DELFOR message into Oracle Order Management. Plans are: translate the inbound message into the SPSI flat file format, load it through eCommerce Gateway / Release Management into Order Management.
For this purpose I'd like to test to the import of a SPSI flat file into eCommerce Gateway / Release Management, however I have difficulties to get a proper flat file. Is there a way to generate example flat files somehow? I tried to generate my own flat file, based on the Oracle manuals, but how can I be sure that the format is correct (besides of running the import program)? Any advice on this?
Or is there a better way, e.g. through XML files?

Yes I use that report already to get the details of the flat file. But what I am missing is for example which records are repeated, e.g. for every 4000 record, do I need one 0010 record, or can I put multiple 4000 records within one 0010 record?

Flat file requirement

I have received this Flat file which contains data for new products which currently do not have SAP material # assigned to them.
The format is :
Material#       qty
D1          10
D2          20
D3          30
Now when later , one of this new product gets created in SAP , the user wants to provide me with a new file which contains only the changed records
Material #     Qty
1234          10
How can I achieve this in BW?

To clarify:
You want to load a flat file into BW for records that may not have an SAP material # assigned. You want to use a placeholder value to be stored within material # (0MATERIAL) such as 'D1'. Later, when the product is created within SAP, you want to load a new file, which will contain only the changed records. Is this correct?
Using your example below: The initial file contains a record with material D1and a quantity of 10.
The new file contains SAP material #'1234' and a quantity of 10.
Can I assume this record can be interpreted as material 'D1' is now '1234'?
If so, please clarify.
Otherwise, based on the infomation supplied, I do not think this is a feasible approach. How can you link the original D1 record to the new '1234' record? (Surely not by the quantity key figure...what happens if multiple records have 10 as a quantity?)
Ideally, you need to develop a data model where you store the values for "new" products (with no SAP material no.) and "existing" products (with SAP material) into separate infoobjects. Please keep in mind, if you create a report using 0MATERIAL, records for which 0MATERIAL is blank (i.e. "new" products) will be excluded from the report.
Please do not consider the above recommendation as a finished solution. I offer it merely as a launchpad for further design possibilities for this scenario. I'm sure there are other questions which need to be addressed which may influence the direction.

Data loading mechanism for flat file loads for hierrarchy

Hi all,
We have a custom hierarchy which is getting data from a flat file that is stored in the central server and that gets data from MDM through XI. Now if we delete few records in MDM, the data picked in BI will not consist of the records which are deleted. Does it mean that the hierarchy itself deletes the data it consists of already and does a full load or does it mean every time we load the data to the BI, do weu delete the records from the tables in BI and reload?
Also we have some Web Service(gets loaded from XI) text data sources.
Is the logic about updating the hierrarchy records different as compared to the existing web service interfaces?
Can anyone please tell me the mechanism behind these data loads and differentiate the same for above mentioned data loads?

create the ODS with the correct keys. And load full loads from the flat files. You can have a cube pulling data from the ODS.
Load data in ODS
Create the cube.
Generate export datasource ( rsa1 > rt clk the ods > generate export Datasource )
Replicate the export ds ( rsa1 > source system > ds overview > search the ds starting with 8 + the ODS name
press the '+' button activate the transfer rules and comm str
create the update rules for the cube with the above infource ( same as '8ODSNAME' Datasource )
create infopackage with intial load (in the update tab)
Now load data to cube
Now load new full loads to ODS
create a new infopackage for delta (in the update tab)
run in infopackage. (any changes / new records will be loaded to cube)
