Flex 14 Ideapad Windows 8.1 not able to start or recover using One Key Recovery
I have a Flex 14 Ideapad with Windows 8.1. This was bought in Dec-2013. In the last 6 / 7 months I have has Windows crashing many times. The crashes used to end with a message boot media not found. Each time I used the One Key Recovery to restore the machine to factory setting.
Recently, I faced an issue around user id files not being able to be loaded at the initial startup. This time also I used the One Key Recovery to restore the system. After this I have has another windows crash and now the One Key Recovery also is not working.
What can be done now to make the system work again?
When you start up the system with the NOVO-Button, there should be an option for BIOS.
Do you see the hard drive in the BIOS?
Another option is this:
You can use an USB-Flash Drive to start the system.
For example you can give Ubuntu a try, a good tutorial to do that can be found here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows
If this system start up without any problems, we can use it to test your system.

I stopped weblogic Admin server, managed server and opmnctl. and restarted Admin server successfully but I'm able to start managed start without nohup command. if I use nohup command then it's not able to get authenticate and faild to start managed server. I created boot.property file with weblogic user name and password still not working. is there anyother way to suppy login credentials for managed server?
how can I supply login credentials in below command?

Is there a limit on no of recepients in im:<sip:user@domain>.
I am using this commnad:
communicator.exe im:<sip:user1@domain><sip:user2@domain><sip:user3@domain><sip:user4@domain> and so on..
I am able to start a chat of around 70-75 people but if I give more users than chat is not started.
Basically i have written a script to pick users from a list and start a chat to take status. The user list keeps on updating. Sometime there are 60 users , sometime 100
I found this functionaliy very useful but since yesterday I am getting errors. Is there a limit or restriction on string. Please check and let me know.

Satyam GargThere are answered thread on the same problem that may help... Server is probably trying to communicate to something that's not there... It won't say what it's trying to do, so you'll have to wait for a timeout to occur then hopefully server will log an error message that will give you the clue...

Hi, I bought IdeaPad S300 with pre-installed Windows 8 system. I need to create recovery disk, but this model is not equipped with DVD burner. I decreased C partition size and created new primary E partition on remaining space, so partition table is just changed...
1. Is there any possibility to prepare recovery USB flash drive?
2. Can I do this using One Key Recovery 8?
3. What's the difference between making recovery disks using OKR and Windows 8 Reset your PC feature (there is option to create disk from recovery partition image)?
4 Did I lost a chance to recover factory system from hdd recovery partition using OKR?
5. Can I recover my factory system using USB flash drive in this case?
6. All partitions on hdd will be recreated to factory arrangement after recovery?

Regarding your questions:
1. The Lenovo One Key Recovery 8.0 supports recovery creation on a USB Flashdrive.
2. Yes, you can create a USB recovery drive using One Key Recovery 8.0, you may find this utility by typing Recovery on the start screen.

3. The difference between the OKR 8.0 and the Windows 8 Recovery are the following:
3a. OKR creates a .wsi backup file while Windows 8 Recovery creates a VHD file.
3b. In restoring the files, OKR 8.0 requires you to boot from the one recovery button while Windows 8 Restoration can be done inside of Windows or by booting from the recovery usb drive.
4. If you didn't delete the One Key Recovery 8.0, you can still create a recovery drive using OKR 8.0.
5. If you created a recovery drive using OKR 8.0, you will need to launch the One Key Recovery button to restore the image. For Windows 8, you can refresh windows or use the usb recovery drive to refresh it (same procedure applies in refreshing)
6. Only the preload OS partition (Drive C:\) will be created after recovery. Any other partitions will not be restored. If you want to clone your HDD (sector by sector), you will need to use a third party application (i.e. Acronis or EaseUS Disc Clone. - Note: backup your data before making changes to your OS).

Lenovo G460 Windows 7 One Key Recovery with a Linux Partition
Hi All,
I recently bought a Lenovo G460 Notebook and installed linux on it to dual boot with WIndows 7. There was a problem with sound which I got fixed and everything is working fine now.
My question is:
Will me linux partition be there as it is If I recover the windows 7 partition using one key recovery?
How to create a rescue disk from One key recovery?

Lenevo ideapad s410 one key recovery service partition fails
HiRecently i extend my C: drive by using the Mini Tools Partition wizard and also format and delete partition of my other data partition but i dint change any system or recovery partition. After doing that i cant recover from One key recovery,it says that cant find the service partition. Also i cant take any system backup. Can anyone help me recover this

The OKR system depends on the Partition ID's of the HDD, Shrinking or Extending a Partition may render the OKR Not to work.
Restoring the OKR after a partition change may be a hard work.

Not able to start Integrated Weblogic server
Hi All,
I have installed Jdeveloper & Weblogic server in my system. I am able to deploy my SOA peojects in em console. But when i try to run a JSF project , it is throwing an error message like not able to start Integrated Weblogic Server. And Could not read old style optfile from D:\OracleOSB\Middleware\oracle_common\modules\oracle.jrf_11.1.1\jrocket_optfile.txt. I dont have my middleware in D:\OracleOSB\Middleware, But i have created the Middleware home in D:\Oracle\Middleware.
I reinstalled SOA sutie, Jdeveloper & Weblogic server but stilll then i am getting the same error when i try to start Integrated Weblogic server. Please find below the error message:

hi gurus, i am not able to start my PIA. i am able to boot the app server successfully but i think there is some issue with the webserver. this is the URL of my PIA http://DELL-PC:80/psp/CPDMO/?cmd=login
when i am trying to open the link to check websever (http://DELL-PC), it does not work. plus i am also not sure whether the port number 80 is correct. would you please also suggest me where all i can get this port number to verify?

Not able to start the NW04 CI instance.
Hi All,
I installed NW04 JAVA with EP 6.0 on Windows 2003 SP1 with MS SQL. I configured SCS and CI to run on Virtual hosts SAPENQ01 and SAPJ2EE respectively for HA. I have two node cluster. When I start CI and SCS on same host they started just fine and everything is working. I switched the SCS instance group to second node and tried to start the CI instnce on first node. The CI is not able to start.
I tried starting CI manually also ... bust it just gives message on command line saying "STARTSAP continues ... ". No logs are created. It never starts jcontrol.exe process. And also when I see SAP MMC ... it is not showing SAP instances there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you adjust the profile files of the Web AS so that they use the virtual host names (wherever host names are used), not the real host names. For example, if the host name of the message server in the profile is the real hostname of the machine, after the switchover connection to message server would not be possible.
In addition, you would also have to check the DB connection settings (through the config tool) and make sure the virtual hostnames are used there too.

P.S. the logs of the startsap are generated in the \usr\sap\<SID>\SCS<nr>\work\sapstart.log. -

I am having exactly the same problem with the same stack trace. Has anybody have an idea how to fix this?
I have downloaded the Java Identity Management Suite.(java_es-5-identsuite-ga-windows-x86.zip) The first time installation was fine and I was able to bring the Access Manager console. I was able to create users groups etc.
However, when I uninstalled and installed it again, I got exactly the same error described in the thread. Running "amserver start" and "amserver restart" did not help. I did the installation one more time
but again I got the same error.

I am able to connect to snpm1 schema in oracle, so why is the local agent getting issue, is there any problem withe the driver specified?

with my hp office 5010 all in one printer, i'm not able to scan, and this is one of his duties. why isn't it possible?? Bad ssoftware while downloading it from internet because I lost CD rom. No pilot available for scanning with it??? Bad version of soft??? I bauught this printer because of his utility and space occupped: able to print, copy and scan in same machine, gain of room, perfect, but my scanning function is not working!!!! I would like to solve this damned problem which upset me since several weeks.... Waiting for an answer and a solution, best regards
