Flex 2-15 not starting, stuck in limbo
Yesterday after letting my flex 2 sleep after class, I tried starting it again after a few hours and it wouldn't start. The only thing I could see is a blank screen with the backlight and keyboard light on, the fans are also working. I tried searching the forum but couldn't find a solution and cannot remove the battery. I tried holding down power, using the pinhole button, nothing seems to work.
Is there a way to fix it and recover all of my stuff too? I have a lot of important school notes...
So I am guessing that when you connected it to external display, you were able to see the screen?

I really need some help on this. Flex builder will not start.
When I try to run it, I get the error: An error has occured. See

When I open the file, I get an error log. I will post it to

So far, I have unisntalled/reinstalled Flex several times. I
have uninstalled Java, and reinstalled Java. I have uninstalled
Flex, removed ALL directories I could find (under /program files/
as well as /documents), run cclean to clear out registry entries,
as well as going through the entries one at a time. I then
rebooted, and reinstalled. I have also downloaded the original
install file 3 times now.
One oddity of my install, is that I am running on a
re-directed desktop, so my /documents/flex builder 3/ directory is
out on the network, but acts like it is locally mapped. I HAVE
logged on my system's local account, which doesn't have a
redirected desktop. This error occurs on both accounts.
I am the administrator of this box, and all permissinos are
run as an administrator. I am running Vista Business, and have run
this both with user access control on and off. I have also tried
running it in compatibility mode for Win XP SP2. While installing
it seems to fail on the Cold Fusion plugin, but it continues to
install, and tells me it installed fine. I am honestly at my wit's
end on this one.

with having your documents stored remotely. My documents folder,
instead of being on my C: drive, has been redirected to the server,
so the location is: \\server\share\username\documents\etc
To fix this, I uninstalled Flex Builder 3, then deleted that
directory i makes under documents. I then logged off my account,
and logged on as the local administrator. I installed as the local
administrator which does not have a redirected desktop nor
redirected documents folder. It installed fine. I logged off the
local admin account, and logged in as my account, and was able to
fire up Flex Builder 3. Though, it STILL created it's own "copy" of
Documents on the network drive. So, the directory structure is
\\server\share\userID\Documents, the problem, is that there are TWO
"Documents" directories there. If you go to properties, windows
still recognized the old one, as "My Documents" even though it is
redirected as the file, Documents. The new folder, is also called
Documents.
Odd behavior. Just hope this helps someone else, in the
future. -
Flex profiler does not start up
I am using Flex Builder 3.0 Pro plugin for Eclipse 3.3. Flex
profiler does not start at all. Do I need to configure project
setting somehow in order to enable profiler?Just in case anybody wants to know... it was Profiler port conflict with application running on my desktop.

Hi, I have an Iphone 3g that is "Not" jailbroken, nor do I want it to be jailbroken. However, I had been having problems with it shuting down and not starting again. So, I tried to update and restore only to get an "error" 1015.
It is now stuck on "connect to itunes"
Any help would be great as this is a factory unlocked phoneApple in no way blocks devices.
Carriers can blacklist devices from their network. If that is what has occurred, only the carrier can remove the blacklist. This should have nothing to do with your ability to activate the device and use it as an iPod. -
Firefox will not start. When I try to open it it gets stuck trying to restore the previous session. It shows "connecting" and the little round working cursor just spins. The program says (not responding) in the top. Please help me fix this, thanks
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Employee replications stuck in 'Not started' status.
Some of the Employee replication has been stuck in not started status.When you go to the edit mode and click on replicate and then save, the entries will be saved. But the status of the employee replication will be in not started status instead of successful or failed status.
The reason might be discrepancy in the secondary persistence. This lead to the fact that you got records by the query which seemed to be relevant, but in the original persistence they were already marked as irrelevant. From SAP end we trigger a reload of the secondary persistence and the issue will be solved.

CryssalDo you think there is an agent logged in and Not Ready, or do you think it's a hung session?
If you think it's a real login, reboot the PC.
If you think it's a hung session then you'll have to restart a service of two. I would just plan for a maintenance window and reboot the server along with your CUCM CTI Manager.

Worfklow Task stuck on "Not Started"
I have a workflow with a "Start Approval Process" action. I have a couple of tasks on different list items, that are stuck on "Not Started" (and have been for a month) and therefore the workflow cannot progress.
Is there a way to push the task workflow to start? I am not able to manually start it from the task list. Also, I would in other situations just cancel the workflow and start again but I due to governance, I am unsure if I can do that in this

From your post, my understanding is that the status of the task created by the workflow is stuck in Not Started.
If I misunderstood, please feel free to correct me.
Per my test, the tasks created by the Start Approval Process action in the workflow are all showing Not Started as the beginning status.
If the assignee opens the task assigned to him/her, he can complete the task by approving or rejecting it.
And the workflow will pause at this step until all the tasks have been completed.

You won't lose your files unless something goes very wrong -- which may already have happened. You absolutely must have a backup before you do anything else.
