it' s flex 2 an "editor" for cfm,css,js,html too?
Which plugins (if they exist) are working good for
CFM,CSS,HTML and JS.
Is there somebody that regulary use Flex Builder as unique
editor/builder for all those WEB technology?
Tnks for help me in my choice.

since it's on the eclipse footprint, I recon that it should
be to do those other languages trought plugins.

One smartform for all languages - translation/mandant problem

Hi Smartformers,
I am trying to develop a translation for a smartform inside the form (translation language chosen by a condition).
I am working on mandant 100 (modifying for other mandants than 100 is not possible).
The problem is, most changes are not in visible in mandant 300 at all.. Is there a way to transfer the smartform to another mandant?

looks like RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER does not exist in 4.6B.
Maybe that will clear things out a little: I am not using se63 for translations. so we don't care about the translation problem (anymore;).
I have transferred texts from between clients, but now I want the same on another server (but scc1 is blocked there).
texts are stored in sapscript.

IPhone Ad Hoc - One build for block of UDIDs or one build for each UDID?

Hello.
For ad hoc distribution, do I need to create a new unique build for each of the UDIDs from my potential testers? Or just one time for the entire set of UDIDs?
Please set me straight, I've been searching for this answer, but could not find anything.

You must add each UDID to your distribution provisioning profile in iTunes Connect. Once you have done that, you can use a single .mobileprovision file and a single binary for all provisioned users. You do not need to build a version for each user.

Export app for all languages

Hi,
we developed over 20 apps with Flash Builder 4.6 for Android and iOS.
I think something is wrong with the export or we forgot an important fact.
We only get German reviews in GooglePlay and the AppStore.
We inserted 10 different languages in the AppStore and GooglePlay but the download rate in this countries is really bad until 0.
Is it because we developed the apps with the german Flash Builder 4.6?
Does it insert a parameter that the app only is shown in Germany?
What do we have to consider if we want to publish to all languages?

There is supportedLanguages tag in application descriptor that lets you choose the locale you wish to support. However the default behavior when you do not specify this element, then by default the packager performs the following actions based on the application type:
iOS — All languages supported by the AIR runtime are listed in the iOS app store as supported languages of the application.
Android — Application bundle has resources for all languages supported by the AIR runtime.

Generate one instance for all users in a Group

Hi All,
We have BO 3.1 with FP 2.6.
There is a report that needs to be schedule in such a way that it will generate only one instance for all the users belonging to u201CGlobalu201D community while for rest of the users wonu2019t see any instance of it. They will simply run the report on demand providing the prompt values.
I am able to run the report for whole u201CGlobalu201D group (using u2018schedule foru2019) option but the problem is it creates as many instances as the number of users I have in this group. As users of this group have same data level access, so primarily theyu2019ll get same report output. That is why it is not desirable to run this report for all of them instead there should be a way it creates one instance after each schedule for the whole community.
Please suggest.

I think there are still ways to use publications to achieve what you want.
For instance, I created the below scenario:
- Created 3 users (pub1, pub2, pub3) and put them in group (publication users)
- I created a publication and specified the "publication users" group as the enterprise recipients
- Set the destination to be Default & BusinessObjects Inbox. Set the "Send As" option to Shortcut instead of copy.
- Under Advanced, I set it to one db fetch for all recipients.
- Scheduled this and it ran the report once, and created a shortcut to that object in each users inbox (user in the group specified)
This meets most of your criteria. The rest of it should be handled by security on the objects/folders.
Another option may be Object Packages with the proper security setup.

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...

If you don't see any messages, not have anti-malware running or the Firewall on, try installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8 (according to your profile).
Restart your Mac after the combo in installed, try the App Store.
Also... if you have an app called Little Snitch installed, that can prevent a connection to the App Store.

Can I use the Time Capsule strictly for system backup and continue to use my Airport Extreme for all my wireless needs

I want to use the Apple Time Capsule as an external drive and continue to use my Airport Extreme for all my wireless needs. Can I do that? The reason I ask is that my Time Machine utility cannot find the TIme Capsule - it only shows me the Airport Extreme, even when I "Rescan". SO I am unable to use the Time Capsule.

You will need to connect an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on the AirPort Extreme to the WAN "O" port on the Time Capsule.
Perform a "hard reset" on the Time Capsule by holding in the reset button for 9-10 seconds, then give it another minute to restart to a slow, blinking amber light.
Open AirPort Utility, select the Time Capsule, and click Manual Setup
Click the Time Capsule tab located below the row of icons to assign a name to the Time Capsule, a device password, and adjust Time Zone settings.
Next, click the Wireless tab located to the right of the Time Capsule tab
Change the setting for Wireless Mode to Off
Click the Internet icon, then click the Internet Connection tab
Connect Using = Ethernet
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
Click Update at the lower right to save the settings and allow 30 seconds for the Time Capsule to restart to a green light.

Can anyone tell me - once and for all - if I need to install malware/virus protection on my MacBook Pro and, if so, what is a legitimate and effective product? I have browsed other discussion threads on this topic and found that the responses tend to be obnoxious and argumentative. So, I would really appreciate only thoughtful, knowledgeable answers based on facts/data. Thank you so much for any guidance.

This comment applies to malicious software ("malware") that is installed unintentionally by the victim of the attack. It does not apply to potentially harmful software, such as keystroke loggers, that may be installed deliberately by an attacker who has hands-on access to the victim's computer. That threat is in a different category, and there's no easy way to defend against it. If you have reason to suspect that you're the target of such an attack, you need expert help.
OS X versions 10.6.7 and later have built-in detection of known Mac malware in downloaded files. The recognition database is automatically updated once a day; however, you shouldn't rely on it, because the attackers are always at least a day ahead of the defenders. In most cases, there’s no benefit from any other automated protection against malware.

Disable Java (not JavaScript) in your web browser(s). Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This setting is mandatory in OS X 10.5.8 or earlier, because Java in those versions has bugs that make it unsafe to use on the Internet. Those bugs will probably never be fixed, because those older operating systems are no longer being maintained by Apple. Upgrade to a newer version of OS X as soon as you can.
Follow these guidelines, and you’ll be as safe from malware as you can reasonably be.
Never install any commercial "anti-virus" products for the Mac, as they all do more harm than good. If you need to be able to detect Windows malware in your files, use the free software ClamXav — nothing else.

Only one signature for all mail accounts very limiting

while the iphone is a very cool tool, i'm using the iphone for personal and work email,
and i find it very limiting that there is only one signature possible for all mail accounts.
standard, we all found out is written "written on my iphone" or something like that.
i always thought it was very dorky when i read that from blueberry users last year, (as if i'm interested that someone reads and writes his work e-mails from a mobile)
so, lets stop pretending it is cool to mail from the iphone, but just do it with all functionality it should have.
like having multiple signatures for example with work signature when i'm working, and personal signatures when not
meanwhile, can you (apple support) please help me loose less time when i want to erase my work signature every time i want to e-mail personally by adding functionality like "selecting bulk" and "cutting" (and then allowing to copy and paste while you're at it) to your sdk, Pronto please!

Once you sync your mail accounts with iTunes the first time, you can turn that off in iTunes. You don't need to do that anymore, unless you make a change to the account. It only syncs the settings. You can reset the sync history after deleting the accounts from your phone and then do another sync. That should correct the problem. I'm not as familiar with Mac computers, but maybe someone with a Mac can help a little.
