Flex 2 question. Just want to know
Hi,
I been studing Flex 2 for few days. I hear more about cold
fusion and flex 2 (Cold fusion as back end) .
1- Why cold fusion is good to use with Flex 2 for backend,
mailing etc?
2- Does Flex 2 have its own component that give back end
support for SQL, Oracle etc?
3- Can I use .NET 2.0 instead of cold fusion for whatever
purpose Cold fusion is fullfilling?
you can use any server side technology for your backend that
you like, there are a number of ways to communicate with your
server in flex, the most generic being the HTTPService component
which allows you to send standard HTTP requests to any url and also
retrieve results from any url.

P.S: For the iphone 4S. is there any difference for the one from online shop or the actual store?iPhones purchased from the online Apple Store in Australia will be unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, unlocked iPhone are not available from the physical Apple Stores at this time, though you can call the Apple Store in Melbourne and inquire.
Note that the warranty on iPhones is not international, so if you purchase an iPhone in Australia and it needs service, you would have to ship the iPhone to someone in Australia to take or send to Apple for service and then ship it back to you.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

So we understood that you wanted to connect to the existing router using wireless.
If you can run an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on your existing router to the other house, then you could connect one of the Apple routers that way.

I'm visiting new York(USA) for work on Sunday, just wanted to know if i can buy an un locked iphone from the apple store or not, since i'm not a resident, to the record we don't have an apple store at my country.
You can buy an unlocked iPhone at any of the 5 Apple stores in NYC. All are open on Sunday. Note a couple of things, however:
US iPhone 5's will work on 3G in the rest of the world, but not on LTE because the US phones use different channels than other countries
Be sure you say "unlocked", not "no contract"
If it breaks it must be returned to a US store for repair, and if shipped to Apple it must be from and to a US address -

That's exactly what it does, refresh your contacts. As an example if you add a contact on your Mac or iPad and you use iCloud to sync them altogether, then this can be used to refresh the contacts on your iPhone.

Not rally a question, just wanted to share my absolute frustration with the update of iTunes...this is, without a shadow of a doubt THE WORST application i have EVER used, Mac or PC! And that's saying something with the amount of PC dross that's out there...Apple...PLEASE update and give us back the old version of iTunes...
Pull down View > Show Sidebar. This will give you back the same functionality of iTunes 10.x.x.

How can I see if a picture was sent from my iPhone? I am not sure the number the picture(s) was sent to..and whether or not it was an iPhone...I just want to know if someone sent themselves pics from my phone. Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones. -
