Flex 2: stuck in sleep/battery led doesn't turn on

Hi Everybody,
My laptop no longer will turn on and was wondering if anyone had this experience in the past.
With all my materials on it, I hesistate to ship it out for 3 weeks.
Please advise.

Hello i've had my Flex 2 14 for just over 2 months, i stopped using it one evening and it went into sleep mode. The next day coming back to turn it on the power light is flashing like its in sleep mode but it won't turn on. Unplugging the charger stops the flashing but when i press the power button again it resumes flashing and won't respond to any of my attempts to turn it on. The battery is sealed inside so i can't remove it and try that method to get it to wake up. i've also done the tried and tested press and hold the button and scrolling on the mousepad but nothing wakes it up. Does anyone know what can cause this problem and if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this issue please let me know. i'd greatly appreciate any and all suggestions. Plug your iPhone into a wall charger. Usually letting it charge for 15-30 minutes is enough for the screen to turn on.
However, if the battery has been drained for a long time, you may want to wait a few hours to let the battery charge.

If I turn off Mac Mini Mid2011, LED doesn't turn black.

I turned off the Mac Mini Mid 2011. BUT, the Mac Mini's Light(White LED) doesn't want to turn off and the only way to COMPLETELY shut down is to force shut down.I'm worrying about bad sectors so I'm asking.
Is there any way to solve?

SMS messages will not go to the iPad Mini. It's not capable of receving them. If you have access and can do it without it causing a problem, remove your iPhone from the Apple ID Support profile:

Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
Click "Unregister"
If anyone in your family uses iMessage, they will go to both you and your boyfriend unless you do that.
To be completely safe, you may want to simply use an alternate message app such as Skype, Viber, Whatsapp (assuming everyone has a smartphone) until the issue is resolved. Google Voice will also allow you to send and receive texts to another number on your phone.

Wireless LED doesn;t turn on

i bought my new printer 3 days ago.
Sometime i tried to hold wireless button more than 5 seconds
Now, wireless doesn't work, can not search any wireless, wireless LED on printer doesn't on or blink anymore
I tried to reset printer, turn printer off, hold wireless and cancel button together, turn printer on,
wait until green and red lights blink together, but blue light doesn't work

LED doesn't turn on State Machine

Hi!
I just cannot get my head arount this problem. I have state machine VI and would like that LED blink the same way as digital channels are open. On output module the lights are blinking as they should, but I would like also that they blink on front panel of VI.
I have observed data flow (highlited execution) and LED is getting TRUE statment, but it still doesn't blink?
Please help.
See the attached VI. On front panel please insert timings 2, 4, 4, 6, 8, 10.

The only LED I see on your front panel is the one called "Polozaj 1", and I never see a True written to it. The tunnel that feeds data to it is set to "Use Default If Unwired", and nothing is connected to it in any of the cases. Thus, it always outputs a False.
Your code raises a number of questions. It's very sloppy, for one thing. It's extremely difficult to follow wires. The ANDing of Booleans with True/False constants is pointless. ANDing anything with False ALWAYS produces False. ANDing with True ALWAYS returns the value of the other Boolean. Thus, I don't see what you are trying to do there. Do not use numbers for state names. Someone else looking at the code will have no idea what the states are supposed to do. Use names for the states instead. Create a typedef for you enumeration. I can see one red dot, which indicates that at least one of the enumeration constants doesn't match another. This will lead to errors.

Display replaced...but iSight led doesn't work

I've a Macbook Pro (June '07) on which i've totally repleaced the display. They (the apple support) have mounted the new MacBook Pro display (Feb '08), that is as the old one, but with only one difference: http://nobi.com/nobilog/archives/001795.html
Now if i use my integrated iSight the green led doesn't turn on. Is this an internal cable-connection issue or does the led work just with the new MacBook Pros?

Try the suggestions in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight.
Regardless of whether you can see a green led, if your built-in iSight does not work (meaning you can see a picture from your iSight) with any app in any user account, the repair job is not finished. Contact the people who worked on your Mac and ask them to correct the problem or credit you for what you paid for the part of the work that was not completed.
If your iSight works but you cannot see the green LED, you can decide whether a return trip to get the led working is worthwhile to you. I probably wouldn't bother, but you might want to have it made right. The most meaningful reason I can imagine to take it back ONLY for an LED fix is that a working LED might be important to someone to whom you consider selling your Mac at some future time.

You can't. Either get your phone fixed at a third-party repair shop, or go to an Apple store & they will replace your phone for US $199.

Macbook Pro 17" (Mid-2009) Randomly Getting Stuck in Sleep Mode when Unplugged

Hey guys, this is my first time posting so please excuse me if I do anything wrong. Here's the issue:
I have a Macbook Pro 17" (Mid-2009) that has had an issue with the whole computer shutting down at random, but only when unplugged from the MagSafe power adapter. Upon scouring all the forums and discussions I could, I haven't found anyone with the same exact circumstances as myself, hence this post. Let me explain.
Many say it's a battery issue. That can't be, because this has been happening for months, and after I finally got my laptop repaired a few days ago, it still occurs. I had sent it in for a logic board failure, but consented them to fix any other parts that weren't functioning properly. Upon the return of my machine, I found that they installed a fresh hard drive, new battery, new logic board, and a new speaker on the right side. This must mean that neither the logic board nor the battery are the issue.
What else can this point to? Again, it only occurs when the Mac is unplugged from a power source, and it doesn't totally shut down. It goes half way, essentially stuck in sleep mode. The white indicator light on the front freezes, and the power button has to be held to fully turn the laptop off, then pressed again to reboot. It can last anywhere from a single minute to a few hours before shutting off again, and it's always the exact same circumstance, no matter what kind of computing I'm doing at the time.
Note that while no one else has found the solution to lie within resetting the PRAM or SMC (in the discussions I read), I still need to try that tonight and see if it affects anything.

Macs are having problems with SSD drives. The root cause is the OS X journaling file system. The Apple-written SATA controller driver can saturate the bus at times, inhibiting performance. Some manufactures are even selling special "Mac" versions of their SSD drives that are slowed down on purpose to compensate for this problem. Unfortunately, the problem still exists in Snow Leopard, from what I've read.
Also, I read that Apple has secretly slowed the recent new laptops down (3.0GB/s to 1.5GB/s) to compensate for the problem.

Macbook Pro 2009 doesn't turn on without battery

Hi. I have a mbp mid 15" mid 2009 2.66. In time the battery bacame very low like 4% health, and now is completely dead or broken. When i check the battery status leds it shows full and when I try to turn on the computer (of course with AC power) it tries to turn on for 1 sec then it dies, even with AC plug. i hear the fans trying to spin for 1 sec or less, i hear the hdd sound and i see the standby led like it is trying to power on normally but It seems like it's trying to use the battery to power on. (Even when the battery was good, it would't turn on if it was 0%.. i would have to wait 10-20min or whatever to charge it to aprox20% or whatever).
I can't buy a new battery right now so I tried to turn it on without battery (I am sure the battery is completely dead and if I put a new battery it will work for sure) but why it doesn't turn on without battery?? I don't believe it needs battery to run on AC power. It's a SMC thing. What can i do to use the SMC and run the computer wihout battery? Now I'm using it with SMC bypass (keep pushing power for 10 sec and plug the ac chord) but with SMC bybass the fans run at max speed, no keyboard backlight no sensors and all that uses smc its not working. Is it safe to use it that way? (it's not running slower, i don't have performance issues).
I tried PRAM reset SMC reset, removing battery with AC on.. nothing works. It won't turn on without battery. Only with smc bybass.
It is something i can do? or buying a new battery is the only solution?

You have a hardware problem. More than likely it is the cable that goes from the logic board to the display. It sounds like an internmitent short. Works sometimes not at other times.
The only way to fix a hardware problem is to replace the faulty piece of hardware and the only people that do that is either an Apple store or an Apple authorized repair center. That is unless you can diagnose the actual failed hardware part, find one from an Aftermarket Mac parts seller and replace the part yourself.

My Macbook Pro Retina doesn't turn on but charger led works

I haven't used my mac for a month but it use to work perfectly fine. I tried to use it but it wouldn't turn on. When i plug the magsafe connecter the led goes orange. But when i press the power button it doesn't turn on. i tried smc reset using left shift, control and option (and power button) while charging and not charging but it doesn't work. Please help.

IF the battery was completely discharged, give it some time on the charger before trying to start up. The amber LED means it is charging, give it an hour or so before trying again.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Satellite A10: Battery-LED blinks with AC

Not too long ago I bought a new battery for my notebook. About a half year it worked well. But one day I couldn't start the notebook without AC. I thought, the battery was simply discharged. So I set up the AC-adapter, but the next time, the notebook didn't start either. With AC no problem.
So I charged the battery, and when Windows said, Battery Full, and the LED was green, I disconnected the AC. But then, the notebook fully stopped, as if there was no battery.
Now it is this way: it doesn't matter what Windows sais. The Notebook doesn't start without AC. After a disconnection of AC, the battery-LED blinks fastly orange. When windows runs, it only blinks slowly orange.
Where is the problem? Does anyone know a solution?

In my opinion there are two possibilities.
Either the battery is dead and must be replaced or the notebooks power supply electronic malfunctions.
The first possibility is not serious problem because the battery replacement should helps to solve this issue but if the notebooks power supply electronic does not work properly, the whole motherboard should be replaced.
I think its advisable to contact the ASP in your country because the guys could locate the fault very quickly and could provide the best solution.
