Dear Financial Services

After agreeing to lose child support during custody mediation for my disabled son, I am pretty broke this first month. So I spoke with Todd when he called from [removed] yesterday. Todd was nice enough to work out a deal where the majority of my bill would be paid today and the rest on the 15th. However, when I went to the grocery store this morning there was no money on my card. I've lived off ramen noodles for the last 2 weeks so I know my son and I will live. I'm just severely disjointed that Verizon would make a deal with me then over charge my debit card. Yes I owed them the money, but Todd made a deal, wrote the deal details in the account, and when I call Customer Service they apologize, say something can be done, switch me to financial services then financial services didn't even try to help. They agreed that it was in the detail notes then switched me to automated land. Can't getc a representative on the 980 number. It just dumps me by saying try calling again later. I am so disappointed in Verizon financial services. Since they were able to tap my card 1st thing this morning they don't care. Why would they since they have their money? I think I'll take my hundreds a month to Sprint and get it cut in half. Customer service can't get any worse than it is at this company. I can't stand a liar.

Half a day and over a dozen phone calls to 980-939-8592 and still I get an automated message saying they're unable to connect me with a representative and please try my call again later before the phone call disconnects. I made an agreement with your company that only 200 would be paid today worth the remaining balance due on the 15th. 3 representatives agreed that was what was in the details of my account yet all they do is transfer me to an automated drop system. Customer Service, Financial Services, doesn't matter the numbers I'm dialing, I'm not getting any response other than yes they see where they agreed to the payment setup I described. Then switch me to automated line that dumps my call. I need to buy groceries and pay other more important bills. But I guess losing 1 customer with 2 lines and bad word of mouth advertising of their customer services that will probably lose them more business is just a tiny drop in their big bucket. I am so very disappointed in the service I have received today. I no longer have respect for the 3 Verizon Excellence Awards my father win over his many years with this company. Landline and cell line obviously have very different customer service expectations. You should exceed the customer's expectations. Not do way less than the bare minimum.

It seems you have created Address Location DFF in self service in OA Framework.....
I have created a Address Location flex in OA Framework . It dipslays the segments properly but i dont want to display the segments if they dont have any value.
I only want to display segments with values . The segments with null values should not display at all...
i.e , if Address Line 2 value is null , it should not display Address Line 2..
If you have done this, pls let me know how to go abt it.

CUSTOMER SERVICE/ FINANCIAL SERVICE COMPLAINT

I have literally attempted to make a payment via phone 3 times this morning. I have been blocked from making online payments because my secondary line person made 2 payment promises and they bounced. I was asked by KINAYSHA WITH FINANCIAL SERVICES to repeat my name when I called the first time and I did . She then whispered something and when I asked what she said-she put me on hold. I waited a while then called back. Well, I got KINAYSHA again. She did not waste any time in putting me blindly on hold again without telling me. My question is WHY IS IT SO HARD TO MAKE A PAYMENT. FURTHERMORE, I GET ON HERE TO COMPLAIN AND ALL IF THE DIRECTIONS TO SEND AN EMAIL THROUGHT THE WEBSITE ARE NON-EXISTENT. THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT SERVICE VIA EMAIL AND LIVE CHAT. I CANNOT LEAVE MY JOB TO CALL AND PLAY ONT HE PHONE WITH VZW REPS. THERE ARE MOST OF US WHO FIND WEB USE TO BE MORE CONVENIENT BUT THE TOOLS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO DO SO ON THE WEBSITE. IVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HARD TIME MAKING A PAYMENT. IF I AM LATE YOU GUYS CALL ME 25 TIMES A DAY. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE THAT I HAVE TO MAKE A BLOG POST BECAUSE I AM SO FRUSTRATED. First off stop replying in all caps. And because of what another on your account did via not paying the bill it is them you should be having the conversation with. Fortunately I pay my bills on time or before time, every time!
The stores will take a payment. They cannot refuse a payment under state laws.
Financial Service must also take payments via credit or debit cards.
And don't come on here calling people "illiterate" your the one responsible for anything or anyone on your account.
In this case keep calling until the phones are shut off completely.
No need for nasty comments when someone trys to assist.

Regarding pricing not picking from contract while creating service entry

we are facing a problem -we have created a contract with a service item and made a purchase order with the same reference as well. problem starts while creating service entry sheet while adopting the services its not picking the rate from the contract. please guide us how to proceed further.

Hi Ritesh,
please check the pricing date in the contract service item and also in the entry sheet header. The price could be probably not found due to different validity of the pricing condition in contract - the price from the contract is not valid on pricing date of   the service entry sheet.
The price in SES is determined on the base of the value in the
field 'Price Reference Date of Entry Sheet' (ESSR-LBLDT). This field
is located on 'Basic data' tab.
However, enhancement SRVESSR (customer exit EXIT_SAPLMLSR_010) can
be used for changing this behaviour.

Error in Contract distribution with services

Hi everyone,
We need your help. We are working in an implementation of SRM 7.0 with ECC 6 EhP 4. We are using the new cetral contract.
We have a issue, when we create a central contract with service items and we try to distribute it into ECC we are getting the following message:
"For object SERVICE , number range interval does not exist"
Do you know what is this objetc? Do you know if we are missing something?

Hi Ivan,
Are the services locally created or replicated from backend? It may also be the case, the services are replicated from the backend system say, A and now you are trying to distribute the contract with the service to backend systems A and B. Please, check if the backend system B has the number range (ext) for service defined to accomodate the distributed service.

Latest version available of ORACLE SERVICE BUS FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES is 10gR3 (10.3.1.0) and that of ORACLE SERVICE BUS is 11.1.1.3.0
Are features provided in OSB FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES { like support for specific message formats and protocols such as SWIFT and FIX }
available in OSB 11g and if not, how to get these features with OSB 11g?

It is normal practice to release OSB FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES shortly after release of OSB.
So OSB 11gR1 for Financial services should be released any time soon, as OSB 11g R1 is already released.
Please talk to Oracle Sales representative for exact dates.

Service Contracts for Professional Services

What is the best way to add a service contract to a partner so we can open service calls and know what the service contract covers? some customers have multiple service contracts and some have none. it is important for the tech that opens a service call to know what is covered, if anything. this is a helpdesk type environment.

Hi Dale
When using contracts of type item, the contract has a relationship to something that you sell, and can therefore be tracked. When using a Customer type contract, there is no relationship and thus difficult to state what the contract covers. My suggestion would be to create multiple Non inventory items (service items) and link these to the usual Customer Equipment Cards and Contracts. Create 1 contract for each Service Item that is covered. The item description will have to contain as much detail as can fit into 100 characters and your users can then see this in the Item Tab of the contract.
If you decide to go with a Customer type contract these details can only be added to the Remarks field of the contract.

Java tools or toolkit for Contract-first Web services development

I have just started on Web Services and during my internship I was encouraged to develop Contract-First web services inspite of the fact that the Java implementation is available in place. I was trying to search internet for any tools that have the facility to generate the WSDL given the XML schema in Java, but in vain.
So I have come here to the place of Java experts to guide me if there are any such tools for generation of WSDL from the xsd schema.
PS: I cannot use Code-first even though the Java implementation is already available to me even though it is more wide-spread and has tools available.

OK, the new version named Oracle Financial Analytics but does the it support OFSA
My question where is the document that show the integration between OFSA and OBIE Oracle Financial profitability Analytics
in the old version the document say that there is a PLSQL package to make the integration with OFSA to build the data-mart tables and to get the data from OFSA tables to the data-mart tables

Hello. I upgraded my MIFI 2200 (had no contract on it) to a Jetpack (with a contract) when customer service told me this 4G device would use less data because it was faster. This was not correct. Anyway, I got the device, had problems, did tech support

Anyway, I got the device, had problems, did tech support, re-activated my MIFI. 1. Decided to return the device. Spent hours with Customer Service, then finally up to Management, they agreed to take it back and void the contact, I sent it back immediately – and instead of voiding the contact they transferred it to my MIFI! Please cancel the contract on the MIFI. 2. During the short time I had the Jetpack I continually received overage alerts, took it all the way up to 30 GB, each time I backdated the new data plan except twice when customer service did and failed to back date the increase, and once the computer locked customer service out and could not increase. The end result is I have a $495 bill, many of these alerts were false since I ended up with only 14 MG for the month, etc. I am asking that my bill be reduced significantly to reflect no overage and to compensate for these problems. Please open up a ticket for this.

I had Verizon JetPak and you will find it will eat data like crazy. I opted to sign on to ATT Uverse and configured my phones and other devices to the WiFi on the Uverse system. It took about 5 minutes to completed the configuration. I was using 10 to 12 GB monthly to support 5 devices. Even if you use Verizon DSL, you are still subjected to same GB allotment. In my area, Verizon DSL is not available. With Uverse, I have 250 GB monthly to use, and I have not even come close to using anything of that magnitude. I reduced my GB package with Verizon to 2 GB per month and since having ATT Uverse, I never use more than 1GB a month with Verizon.
I have no problem with Verizon cell phone service as we get a much stronger signal where we live than you can with ATT or any others. It is just my opinion, but if you are running multiple devices off Verizon Jetpak, you will eventually spend a fortune to keep pace. I pay $60 a month for 18 Mbps speed, although ATT have packages that cost much less. But, it saves me a bundle each month. The cost of Uverse alone is worth not having to run everything through a Jetpak.
If you have the option to use another DSL service provider in your area, I recommend dumping the Jetpak and sign on with another carrier.
