Flex Module for Apache and IIS for Flex3 Release

All materials said that Flex Module for Apache and IIS was
included in Flex3 Release of Feb. 25,but I did not find it.
Does Anyone know about where to download the kit.

Running apache and IIS on SBS: 403 permissions issue

I'm trying to run Apache and IIS at the same time on the
Windows SBS. I can bring up the Apache screen from a terminal, but
I get the dreaded: 403 access denied. I've hunted around for a
solution, but without much luck. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

update: last night i was up so late trying to tweak the
config file that i probably messed something up. i uninstalled the
apache and re-installed and set the port to listen on 8080. seems
to be working now!
one thing i found strange: on the server i typed in the ip
address of the server:8080 and it woudn't access the apache . . .
but, it would as a localhost.
anyway its working now . . . proof that just posting
something on this board gets results ;)

Apache and IIS

I am trying to install Apache on my win XP machine, so that I
can use Msql and PHP on a unix server.
It will not install from a Sam's Teach yourself CD, even on
port 8080 with a manual start. This may be because I have IIS up
and running.
Has anyone any idea if it is possible to have both servers
installed, but only one running?
If it is, and I switch to Apache, will the localhost on IIS
be damaged in any way? Could I then switch Apache off and IIS back
on again?

yes of course, you can turn off the IIS in control panel /
administration / IIS, choise the web server and push the stop
button, if you want to start you can push de start button,
in apache there may be a tray ikon where you can easily stop
and start the server,

Apache and IIS for commercial use

Can I use this module in my webapplication ? Is it allow to
use in commercial environment?

I'm not the authority here but I do NOT think you can use it
commercially for the following reasons...
The End user Agreement clause
- 2. says " ..License is granted to a personal, limited,
nonexclusi\ve, roytalty free license for purpose of EVALUATING the
software..."
- 2.1.1 says "This package does NOT contain the open source
version of the FLex SDK"
Section 1.5 defines "Internal Network" as one that excludes
the internet - but there is no mention in the licensing document
that prohibits use the software on the internet for personal
evaluation purposes. I may have to read it wrong but that is what I
inferred...
Anyway, a lawyer and a couple of hundred dollars may give you
the right answer!

developing a
small web applicaion using PHP & mySQL. I usually script
in ASP and have so

Flex module crash apache

hello everybody,
i'm using mac os X 10.4.11, MAMP 1.7 with Apache/2.0.59. When
i want to start the server i've got this error message :
[Wed Jan 16 17:49:45 2008] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting
down
what does it mean ? Anybody know a solution ?

Is Flex SDK 4.6 and FB 4.6 releasing tomorrow?

I had read somewhere that Flex 4.6 and FB 4.6 would be released on Nov 29th but haven't heard/read anything about the same anywhere later. Is that date right or is there time left still?

Actually, there's a couple of gotchas, if you're not careful. First, you'll need to uninstall 4.5.1 (or whatever 4.5 you're using - if you're on an earlier version the upgrade isn't free). To be safe, I deactivated by license from the help menu (not permanently, just suspend) and then unintalled 4.5.1. I then installed what is now the current version of Flash Builder, which is 4.6.
It will look like it's installing in trial mode but once you close the program and come back in, it should pick up your SN from the previous version.

Here`s the way to find out how its using ...
GO to TR.SE93-> give "KO88" 0> click display
Double click program name and find "call fucntion" when list come up "serach "Settlement" . You`ll get idea.

Flex Module updated

Hi everyone,
Today we've just released an update to the Flex Module for
Apache and IIS on labs. This update fixes the bugs you guys found
on the forum and adds further support for Windows Vista and Apache
1.3.7 on Windows. You can see the release notes on the
wiki
page.
One of the most visible enhancements though will be the
increased compilation speed - it now matches the incremental
compilation speed of FCSH (another tool available on labs) - by
caching the most recent 5 different Flex applications.

Looking for a Flex module to do Login, Registration, and License management

I'm looking for an open-source or commercial Adobe Flex module to do user Login, Registration, and License management. The back-end can be either on my site (PHP and MySQL) or secure 3'rd party site.
User Interface would have the following:
Register (new user)
Log-in (registered user)
Purchase a new license (logged-in user)
Apply the license to enable Flex app features (logged-in user)
Any suggestions are appreciated,

I've seen Flex login components out there, but I'm pretty sure you'd end up customizing the heck out of them to work with your app and back-end server. It may be faster to look at some examples and roll your own to suit.
"purchasing a license" ... Take a look at PayPal's site for instructions on how to use their payment gateway in your app. It is pretty straightforward.
"enable Flex app features"... I would store the license information on the server, along with the user's account information. Then when they load the Flex app, a simple license check (during login) could enable certain protected views within the app.

Where can i download the weblogic modules for apache (source/precompiled)

I have wandered the wonderfull world of the BEA website for 2 full days now and still am not an inch closer to de download site for the weblogic module for apache. That is, i have apache and need to add the weblogic module to it.
Complications are Solaris 10 and apache 2.0.55. So the latest versions of OS and webserver. Is there a precompiled module available or can i get the sources somewhere?
I do have a working module for apache 2.0.53 if someone can confirm that this is supported for 55 that would be fine by me.

At times when the sources were available I tried to build it on a "new" platform (Solaris x86 32bit) and I can tell you: it's NOTHING that is obvious. Building OpenOffice or Mozilla may appear like an easy task. It took me months to get there and to be able to just build the 'build tools'.
On top, many of the sources are (historically) written in a Pascal dialect and are transferred to C with an own precompiler so there are three languages used (C, C++ and Pascal) - so it's a pretty hard (next to impossible) job to learn some algorithms from those sources.

What are the Best Recommended Products for Mac OS X Server (Apache and ???)

I investigated Oracle and PHP combo for robust database services to be able to create forms, store employee applications, resumes, do financial requests, invoices, ecommerce stuff, document and lists collaboration like Microsoft Sharepoint using Internet Information Services (IIS) and SQL Server, etc. What are recommended products that I can easily develop in to code and do the requested stuff using Mac current (Apache and ????) technologies?

Of course it depends on your needs, but the OS X server already comes with Apache, Ruby On Rails, Python, Perl and SQL.
