Flex to add email to sql

can i use flex to add a email to a mySql database i see lots of tutorials on how to get data from a mysql but none to add to it?

Flex is only one piece of the puzzle in this case. You're going to need a mechanism on the server-side to mitigate communication between Flex and SQL, like Java, PHP, .NET, etc. Now you can modify one of the examples you've seen to do an INSERT or UPDATE SQL statement instead of SELECT and accomplish the goal that way. Look at some of the documentation regarding "Data Services" in Flex. Bottom line, you're going to need more than just a Flex swf to send and retrieve data from your server.

How can i add email notifications to a scheduler program

Hi,
We have a scheduler chain that calls 2 scheduler programs.
The chains are controlled by a scheduler job that has job_type as CHAIN.
My challenge is how to add email notfications on the failure or success of the programs.
I know about this procedure DBMS_SCHEDULER.ADD_JOB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION, but this is only applicable to jobs and not programs(i believe).
Is there an alternative way to trigger off emails for scheduler programs please?

Mail uses Contacts to store email addresses and group addresses. You would need to create the desired group on your MacBook.

You can't. Apple's share button only supports Apple Mail (as specified by launching Apple Mail, choosing preferences and choosing general.). Maybe Apple will open this up to other apps in future updates.

You can configure account you use to send mails from SQL
Then you can prepare procedure that will send mail

I can't add email accounts on my Ipad 2. When I select Settings, Email-Contacts-calendar the Ipad returns to the begin screen. I don not get any possibility to select an email provider or add an account. Just the begin screen.

iphone does support hotmail, but Windows Mail (Windows Vista) does not support Hotmail. you also need to have a subscription to hotmail (aka windows live)....they no longer allow IMAP/POP access w/ free accounts. i purchased the Hotmail Plus subscription for 19.95 yearly ($1.66/month) - this is the cheapest one.

When you're editing a contact and click on the add email address the keyboard that pops up should already be slightly diff and have the @ symbol and other things like a .com button... etc...

I'm not quite sure exactly to what you are referring...can you provide more complete details please? For example, are you not able to create a hosted (e.g., @carrier or @BB) email address? Or is it that you cannot add into the email configuration your existing (e.g., Yahoo, GMail, etc.) account?
