FlexBuilder3 Eclipse Plugin - Plans to support Eclipse 3.5?

Are there any plans to support the FlexBuilder3 Plugin for Eclipse version 3.5?
If so, is there any ETA?
Thanks!

I'm trying to use the Eclipse plugin with Eclipse version 2.1 (recently

  • Eclipse plugin installer not recognize eclipse

When I run the eclipse plugin installer it gives me a popup
message that "Eclipse 3.x not found. I think I'm pointing the
installer at a directory with all the eclipse files - I can
initiate eclipse from the icon in the library - any ideas how to
    solve this problem?

If you have installed Eclipse 3.3, then Flex 2 will not work
with it. You need Eclipse 3.2 for Flex 2. You can however, run Flex
3 with Eclipse 3.3 - check labs.adobe.com for details on Flex
    3.

  • Eclipse plugin doesn't support multiple build directories

Eclipse 3.0 supports different build directories for each source tree.
However, if you use this feature, the Kodo plugin doesn't work. It can't
find the classes and puts ClassNotFoundException in the log and a
meaningless NestableRuntimeException to the user with no indication of why.

Usually if you try to install an add-on packaged as a .xpi file, it contains a list of compatible Firefox versions and Firefox won't enable it unless you are running one of those versions. So... I think the question should be directed toward whoever packages the add-on. I searched a bit, but couldn't figure out who is in charge of that.

  • Merge 2 eclipse plugins into 1

    Hi All Techies,
I got a problem in merging 2 eclipse plugins into 1.
Its difficult as i need to invoke both these plugins with their own plugin.xmls and not to write a common plugin.xml.
    Explaination with example :
    i have a eclipse plugin "a".
    Another eclipse plugin "b"
I want to make a common eclipse plugin "CommonPlugin" whose plugin.xml when invoked will inturn invoke plugin.xml of "a" and lugin.xml of "b".
Please tell if query not clear ....
    Ashish

what do you mean by "merge"? the whole point of plugins is, they are atomic units of functiionality. if they're related enough that you'd like to treat them as one, or one as part of the other, maybe you could look into the fragments mechanism, or you could write one plugin that exposes extension points for you to add other plugins related to yours. I'm not entirely clear on what your situation is, though, so I'm not really sure what's your best bet.
btw, you were quite lucky that I happened to log on this morning, hardly anyone on these forums knows anything about writing eclipse plugins. you're probably better off with the newsgroups on eclipse.org for questions like this. also, if you're even a bit serious about writing plugins, you could really do with buying this book and possibly this one too, if RCP is your bag, or even if it's not, there's a fair amount about extension points and deployment in it

  • Eclipse Plugins for PL/SQL support

    Hi,
I'm a PL/SQL developer working on DWH. We are currently using Eclipse as our IDE. I would like to know the list of eclipse plugins currently available (if possible with download link) that could help us in DWH development using PL/SQL.
    Thanks in Advance.

What a stupid answer. Sorry for my english.
Read my mail and you'll probably understand what i mean from the context.
Yes PGP is Pretty Good Privacy.
And my answer was simply if it's possible to encrypt mails using Oracle tools so that the receiving server is able to decrypt my message. It's probably not an Oracle based system. maybe an exchange server which expects that all mails be PGP encoded.
What help is it to me that oracle have all kinds of security things if it doesn't communicate with the outside world???

  • Crystal Reports for Eclipse plugin and CR XI server

I have a software requirement in which I need to support both internal (CR Eclipse plugin using the report viewer, not sure what the real name of this is) along with external (CR XI server) reporting.  In other words, I should be able to display a report (.rpt) that exists on my local app server along with one that exists on the CR XI server.  My question is this:
So I have both sets of jar libraries (eclipse plugin and XI server) and I see that some of the them are overlapping (some of the jars have the same name).  For the ones that overlap, should I choose the ecilipse plugin or XI server ones...?
One example I found is that the eclipse plugin rasapp.jar contains the POJOResultSetHelper class whereas the rasapp.jar from the XI server does not.  In this case, I presume I should use the eclipse version, right?
    Thanks for your help!
    Louis

    Hello Louis,
-If you are using latest version of CR Eclipse plugin using the report viewer, then I would recommend going for JAR files of this eclipse plugin than that of CR XI Server.
-The only reason being Eclipse plugin will give you most updated JAR files.
-Before using JAR files from Eclipse plugin, I would suggest you to update your present JAR files to latest available JAR files.
This can be done through Eclipse using update option.
And once you update them, you can use those JARs.
    Thanks,
    Chinmay

  • Switching the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin

    Good day everyone,
I would like to ask about configuring the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin:
    - I have "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" version: 2.0.7.r1040
    - I have installed the language packs 1 and 2
    - Currently, the Crystal Reports perspective and the associated views are displayed in German.
    - I would like to switch these views back to English.
    Questions:
    1. How can I switch the language?
    2. Will this switching of the language have any known side effect on the existing reports, because some of the reports in my current project are displayed in German?
Thank you in advance for your support.
    Best regards,
    Samar

    Hello everyone,
I have found a solution for this question that I would like to share with you.
    - Browse the Control Panel
    - Open the Regional and Language Options
    - In the Regional Options tab under the Standards and formats group, select the Locale that you prefer.
    - *Restart Eclipse* and the Crystal Reports plugin would read the changed setting and display the Crystal Reports perspectives and views in the language of the selected Locale.
    Best regards,
    Samar

  • Unable to install Eclipse Plugin for Azure

I am unable to install the Eclipse Plugin for Azure.  I have Eclipse Indigo and have installed the Azure SDK 2.3.  When I try to add the site http://dl.msopentech.com/eclipse in the Install New Software window I get an authentication pop-up.
When I try my Microsoft ID it fails authentication.  The instructions do not mention any authentication.  What should I put in here?

    Hi,
This plugin requires Azure SDK 2.3. This can be downloaded using the Web Platform Installer (WebPI) at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252838. However, if you don’t have it installed, when you create your first Azure deployment project, the plugin will automatically install
    Azure SDK 2.3.
Also, you could download the sdk from GitHub (https://github.com/MSOpenTech/WindowsAzureToolkitForEclipseWithJava ) and manually install . And you could refer to this blog
    (http://java.interoperabilitybridges.com/cloud ).
    Please try it.

  • [ANNOUNCE]: myWL eclipse plugin 1.0.11 released

myWL plugin 1.0.11 released, check the project's site
    http://mywl.sourceforge.net for more information.
Version 1.0.11 brings full WL6.1 support together with a new feature which
allows WL's CMP generated SQL statements to be logged and monitored.
    Check the 1.0.11 Release Log:
The forthnet-eclipse-plugins team is pleased to announce the FORTHnet
    WebLogic
    Server Eclipse Plugin 1.0.11 release!
    http://mywl.sourceforge.net/
An Eclipse 3.0 compatible plugin which allows BEA's WebLogic Server (6.1,
    7.1
and 8.1) to be managed from within eclipse and thus easily debug deployed
    J2EE
    applications in BEA.
    Changes in this version include:
    New Features:
o A new feature has been added which enables, if configured to do so from
myWL's WebLogic preferences page, logging of all CMP generated SQL
statements. This is a great aid for the developer, which can now monitor
WL's generated SQL statements for finders, select methods, etc. This
feature has been tested and it is known to work with WL 8.1. Older versions
of WL may support this feature, but no testing has been made.
    Fixed bugs:
o When launching WL 6.1, JVM's working dir was being incorrectly set.
o WL 6.1 launcher didn't respect user's defined JVM options.
o WL 6.1 launcher didn't respect user's defined JNI library path.
    Changes:
o WL 6.1 launcher now by default adds to the server's boot classpath the
    WL's
home. This eliminates the need to specify the WL's home dir in the plugin's
    Classpath Preferences page.
o WL 6.1 launcher specifies by default the java security policy as defined
    in
    the WL_HOME/lib/weblogic.policy file.
o WL 7.1 launcher specifies by default the java security policy as defined
    in
    the WL_HOME/lib/weblogic.policy file.
    Have fun!

  • Switch from stand-alone Flash Builder to Eclipse plugin

Hi, I understand I can install the Flash Builder as a stand along IDE or add it as a plugin to the existing Eclipse IDE. I have an existing Eclipse IDE where I have all my projects that I currently work on. The company just acquired and installed a stand along Flash Builder for me. I was wondering if I could somehow get it working as a plugin to my existing IDE so that I don't have to keep switching between two IDEs. Preferably I can do this switch on my own without having to go back to the department who did the original install for me which could be a hassle. Thanks.

    Hi John,
Here is a PC solution for you.
You can use our tools Jugglor and JStart
    http://www.jugglor.com
    http://jstart.flashjester.com
This request is asked quite often, so here is an example file
    using a PDF
and PowerPoint file instead of a Web browser.
    http://www.flashjester.com/?section=faq&cPath=14_56_26#316
    and
    http://www.flashjester.com/?section=faq&cPath=14_56_26#268
So here you would specify the URL instead of the filename.
Actually you can also use JWeb
    Here is an example
    http://www.flashjester.com/?section=faq&cPath=14_56_22#209
    Hope all the above helps.

  • Installing the Android Eclipse plugin: AUR vs Eclipse built-in install

The wiki suggests that you install the Android Developer Tools Eclipse plugin from the AUR. I had this running earlier in the year but, due to being away, mothballed my system for several months (I do this too often!) and found that after the update-orgy that followed, the Android plugins weren't showing up in any sense in my Eclipse interface. Since I wasn't mid-project, I decided it was easier just to entirely remove Eclipse and install it all from scratch. Then I noticed that Eclipse has a built in mechanism for installing plugins. My setup now works as before.
Of course "I did something wrong so it didn't work" is not the same as "it's a bad method", but what is the advantage of installing from the AUR as opposed to straight from Google? Should I add a comment to the wiki on this?

There are a couple of things we've found that can interfere with using a CS5 Suite SN with FB4 Plug-in:
    - if you have multiple copies of FB4 Plug-in installed on your machine, only the first one will be able to use a Suite SN
    - with some configurations, you need to have the qualifying CS5 Suite (Web Premium or Master Collection) installed on the same machine where you're running FB4 Plug-in.
To remedy the first problem, here's an approach we've found to work:
    - uninstall all copies of FB4 Plug-in
    - run the CS5 Clean Script, and if it finds additional copies of FB4 Plug-in, allow it to remove them. You can find the CS5 Clean Script here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html
    - reboot before re-installing FB4 Plug-in.
After re-installing FB4 Plug-in, if you want to plug into multiple copies of eclipse on your system, you don't need to install it multiple times. Instead, just copy the link file from the dropins folder in the copy of eclipse (eclipse-host-distro) bundled with FB4 Plug-in, and paste that link file into the dropins folder of your own copy of eclipse. You can repeat this multiple times if you have more than one custom copy of eclipse to plug into.
