Flexiblization for Personal data

Using flexibilization for personal data in EREC6.0, I added the SSN to SAP/HRRCF_PERS_DATA/PERSDATA_M.BSP in context - EXTERNAL and made it optional. Regenerated the URL.s.
The issue is that the added field for the candidate is not appearing on the Candidate BSP.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello Nikita,
when creating the link for your customer application you had to define a new logical application in table T77RCF_LOG_APPL. These applications are authorization checked. The authorization object herefore is P_RCF_APPL field RCF_APPL. In the standard role for the external candidate SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE you find it under Human Ressources -> Applications in E-Recruiting. Here you define the authorization for startpages (IDs) and logical applications.

Issue in confirmation links for personal data ESS application (CA)

Hi All,
We have implemented EXIT button configuration for ESS applications and the Exit button along with 'Go to Home page' link is navigating to custom created page in portal.
The configuration done earlier for ESS applications like Address Update, Family Member/Dependents works fine.
We got a new service added (Personal data) & tried configuring the Exit button for this application also.
Some how the exit button doesnt seem working for Canada besides it working for US.
Please help in figuring out if there is any cause of the Exit button not working for personal data application for molga 07 specially. Adding to it, the links for confirmation screen are also not working for the same application

As per your Req.....
Its seems to be the Services exits that are county specific Services .........mease the Molga ( country Code ) is set for this services is "US"
That Y its working fine .....
But as per your REq you want this Services working for the Molga 07 ...
I thikn for this you need to set the Molga 07 in the contry specific home pages......
Then it will work fine

Change Time Constraint for Personal Data InfoType

How to change the Time Constraint for Personal Data InfoType.
I tried to do it in Customisation Procedure --> Infotypes, but the option to change Time Constraint is disabled for Infotype 0002.

you can change time constraints in general attributes of infotype attributes,this can be done through table maintenace view V_T582A.
But note that we cannot change the time contraints for mandatory infotyepe of personnel in an organization i.e -0000,0001,0002.
ex:- without personal details like names no personnel will exist in an organization.

Install Window 7 Via BOOTCAMP and create extra partitons for Personal Data

Hello All;
I'm new to Mac, Just purchased the MBP Mid 2012 non retina 2 months ago.. and upgraded to Mountain Lion 10.8.2
I'd like to Install Winows 7 via BOOTCAMP and have extra 1 or 2 partitions (ExFAT) on the same drive for my personal data, any advise on how to do this properly... I tried in many different ways but always ended up hitting the wal..

Approval process for Personal Data Change in ESS

We need to implement approval process from Manager whenever the employee changes his Personal Data through EP in ESS.
Is there any standard method or process for doing that. Or any way of doing it without customization.

Will Backup be updated for iCloud for Personal Data & Settings?

Now that MobileMe has shuttered, the Backup prgram is useless to backup personal data and settings from my Macs. It appears that iCloud will only backup data from IOS devices. I am unhappy that the feature set for the Mac has, in effect, been reduced.
Yes, I could use Dropbox or the like, but you can't put your personal data and settings in it because the data has to be in certain folders for the OS.
Any news, information or ideas about this? Is this addressed in 10.8?

If you want my guess, I say there is no chance at all of Backup getting rewritten for iCloud.

I am having an error in ESS For pesonal data and Family members.
The error message is
Acritical error has occured.Processing of the service had to be terminated.Unsaved data has been lost.

An exception error has occured that was not caught error key RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM FAILURE.

Check the table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.
Also check by the t.code HRUSER if the user have an employee assigned.
Check the log using the T.Code ST22.
Please You should do a trace using the t.code ST01

You are right. As Goswami was saying to change that in PZ screens ( I am working with PZ13 screen 200 ) which is having the corresding screen modification that can be done via a view V_T588M_ESS for function group EHU5. Its not possible that way in the webdynpro version I guess.
Its your way Tim. I don't know how to do this through NWDI. Where can I get that and how can I change this. Please ket me know in detail.

It seems that the BAPI_EMPLCOMM_CHANGE is not useful.

Beginner installing SQL Server 2014 for Excel Data Mining

Hello, I'm a complete beginner with servers but Im desperately trying to gain access to the SQL server for use with the data mining addin for excel.
Could someone please help. When I try to make a connection in Excel by choosing DATA MINING> <No Connection> New> it then asks me for a Server Name in the connect to Analysis Services box. How can I find out what my Sever name is please? I have
tried all sorts of names that I have found such as SQLEXPRESS or localhost but nothing works. It also tells me to 'Ensure that the Server is running'. Another error message I receive: No connection can be
made because 'the target machine actively refused it'.
I would be really grateful for some troubleshooting tips.

Actually with some work you should be able to do this without having to do any modification!
I am using personal data service for US as an example:
Copy class: CL_HRPA_CONVERT_0002_US to a custom class: ZCL_HRPA_CONVERT_0002_US.
In method: INPUT_CONVERSION of the custom class you add business logic to set the lock indicator when moving data from frontend structure to backend structure!
Next you need to configure table: V_T588IT_SCREEN to make sure that custom class is used for personal data US service and not standard class.

My Mac has broken and I want to sell it for parts. How can I be sure that my personal data that is/was on the hard drive is safe?

My 2006 MacBook Pro has broken. There is a little bit of drive noise when I turn it on, but then nothing happens. It is no big deal. Most of my files were backed up. There are a few files I would like to recover if possible, but nothing worth a major effort.
I have seen that broken MacBook Pro's go for about $300 on eBay for parts, so I would like to sell the MacBook Pro. However, I only want to do that after I am sure that my personal data is wiped out. Does anyone know how I can accomplish that? Does anyone know of an easy way to search the old hard drive for some of the data that I lost? Can a Genius Bar take care of this stuff for me (and how much do they charge?)?

The ONLY real secure way to be sure that noone may recover data from your drive is, to remove the drive, and drill one or two 1" holes thru the disk.
A bit less secure but useful way is, to wipe out the data with a tool that's overwrite all sectors of the drive with randomized data in multiple runs.

Independent tests bring out, that even specialized recovery companies with forensic tools are unable to find useful data after such a run.

Sorry to hear of your problem, but any hardware in a computer can fail - that includes the hard drive, the logic board, etc, etc. Fortunately, it usually doesn't happen that soon; however, I've read of hard drives failing within 6 months.
So, since you did not purchase the extended Applecare Protection Plan (3 years coverage), you will need to make a decision to repair or sell it as is. I would always purchase 3 year coverage for an all in one or a laptop because repairs are expensive and at least I'd be covered for 3 years.
We can't speculate on whether there should be a recall or not; these forums are for user to user assistance with technical problems. In your case, there is nothing we can help with since you've already gotten a diagnosis.
