Flickr: Cannot view family photos marked as private :(

Well after all this waiting around, I am disappointed that I cannot view my family's Flickr photos with those that are marked as private. I presume this is because the AppleTV doesn't actually log you in so it doesn't know who you are...?
My family is a bit cautious about photos on the web and in this day and age I can understand why, hence why they mark their photos as private. I can see them fine on the flickr site because I obviously log in automatically...
I cannot believe Apple either missed this or was an unbelievable oversight. All I wanted to use in this update was .Mac Galleries and Flickr gallery to view our family photos etc...
Please please please Apple, can you please rectify this?

I was wondering if this was why it was delayed, or maybe they just cut it out..
I just cannot understand how they have done it for YouTube, but not Flickr OR Galleries.
My family also has galleries marked as private, but I cannot view them either. Bit annoying seeing as I have persuaded my family members to buy one for this reason, so we can view photos on the big screen, not by email. Surly if they want to add .Mac Gallery to it, they should add all the features of .Mac gallery which includes private galleries and Flickr photos.
I mean we have young lads out there developing Skype plugins which uses the Skype API yet, someone as big as Apple cannot use the flickr API?
Come on Apple, please fix this fast! You are making me look daft in front of my family and friends who have spent just under £300 and now cannot view our photos!

I cannot view ANY photos on facebook. I can go into albums and see all the photos on one page, however when i click an individual photo, no photo shows up. I can see captions, but no photo's on facebook. Safari allows me to view facebook photos but firefox does not.

Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions

Cannot view my photos on apple tv

I cannot view my photos on apple tv after I did the steps - iTunes | File | Home Sharing | Choose photos to share, and select the appropriate folder, then click the "Apply" button.

Cannot view streamed photos in web browser

I have set up a photo stream from my iPhone and have set it up as a "Public Website" so that friends and family that do not have Apple devices can view the photos. Everything was working fine for about two months, but in the past couple of days people who are trying to access the photos from PCs using web browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) have not been able to view the pictures. They can still access the site but they cannot see the photos. Any advice would be appreciated.

A number of people are have trouble with this over the last few days (Photostream website not working). It seems that the problem is at Apple's end. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

N95 8GB cannot view gallery photos/ uploads photos...

I have had the same problem with my N95 8GB with viewing photos in my gallery!
I have now got my 5th replacement handset (Orange) since August 29th due to various faults and issues. The main one being trying to transfer photos from my PC to my mobile via the Nokia PC Suite or just via USB cable. Both of which when I try to then go into the gallery view on the phone caused it to freeze. Unable to view any images!
This keeps happening, and I have even tried running the 'N series installation disk' and still the same issues. I thought that such a good spec phone with 8GB memory would be able to hand just 2 jpeg images without freezing!
Has anyone else had the same problem or am I just unlucky? I have got up to date anti virus software on my PC, and have tried different images each time. My previous phone (n95) was able to upload and export pics and music to my PC no problems ever!

Well I have tried to just loads 2 images from the laptop onto my mobile. I have tried doing a direct file transfer (mass media) and then also tried through Nokia PC suite-uploaded via the CD rom I was given.On both occasions this has been uncessful to view images from the gallery menu on the phone..crashes!
I think the photos are actually on the phone under the file manager folder I can find them stored here. However on opening the gallery to try and view these files, the phone freezes and I am unable to exit the menu -using the 'back' button have to press the red phone cancel button. Once out of the gallery folder and back to the main screen I can then no longer access and shortcut menus for about 3mins. Very frustrating. The most recent phone I have now, I got 2 days ago-I've not even plugged into my laptop, and when asking a friend to send me images via bluetooth I cannot open this either!! (it comes as a text format from bluetooth) and on opening the phone just freezes again. I try to save this when asked to mass memory and not phone memory.
I can take images on my 'phone camera' but again cannot view as unable to access the gallery-constantly freezes the phone.The images are not a large file just jpeg format for example 45KB another one I tried was much larger 1MB...
I still don't understand why this is happening all the time!!! Many thanks for your help.... (Orange are going to send me a new sim card to try) and see if this helps.

When I sign into ICloud I cannot view my photos

When I sign into ICloud I cannot see my photos. I see Mail. Contacts, Calendar, etc. but not photos. Where are they?

I also have the same issue. I have turned on ICloud on my IPad2 and when I go to ICloud on my PC, I don't see the photos. Please advise.

IPhoto - cannot view multiple photos & my thumbnails are gone

When I open iPhoto, suddenly it is only showing 1 photo at a time; my multiview is completely gone, as is the scrollbar of thumbnails at the top. I tried going to View>Thumbnails, but the options under that are light gray and non-clickable.
I don't remember doing anything unusual recently, although iPhoto may have gotten an update a few days ago. Also, I should add that my MacBook's memory is pretty full; I'm not sure if that matters here or not.
Does anyone have any idea about how I can get my multiview & thumbnails back?

Thank you, TD! I noticed that right after I posted; I must have accidentally changed it without noticing. It does correct the problem. I also realized the thumbnail scrollbar is only in the editing stage. <shakes head> Okay, thank you. I will be back the next time I can't figure out a basic task.

Photoshop Elements 5.0, Windows XP, cannot view any photos

When working on a slideshow a few days ago, something happened. I went back to my organizer and there were no photos. Timeline that use to appear(2005-present) starts with 2009. Any photos that I have since imported dissappear after time. Search reveals no photos. Recover does nothing.

At the bottom left of your Organizer window, it should tell you how many items (photos, videos, etc.) are in your catalog. What does it say?
Can you drag the markers on the timeline to the left to display earlier years?
Did you accidentally create a new catalog? (The name of the catalog is shown at the top of the PSE window. The default name is My Catalog.psa)

Help, i cannot view my photos

I have the blackberry curve, I received it yesterday and took about 8 pictures and I can view them on my media files.
Today I took pictures however I couldn't see them in my media picture files. When I receive or take pictures I casnnot view them. Please help.

First try a battery pull:
No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.
You can look for the pictures using the explore command. Let us know if they are on the device memory or on your media card.

I cannot view some photos in iPhoto' 11

I installed 10.7 successfully but some photos in my iPhoto library do not show. Some events show blank and their contents show blank with a triangle containing "!". I know the photos are there as they show up momentarily as I scroll the screen. Individual photos show the capture information as well as face and location names but no pictures. Blank events appear to be of most recent ones but some are older ones. I would like to know a solution to this problem as I am in the middle of organizing recent events for publication.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Cannot view edited photos?

Ok, so I have created a catalog, imported (added) a folder of photos from my hard drive, and have now done a bunch of editting. When I close down Lightroom, I open my hard drive only to find all of my photos, not editted.... help? ..

No, don't do that! Briefly: you do all the editing in LR, and when you need your photos for a specific purpose (printing, uploading to a website, etc.), you export them to a separate directory.
And Pete's advice is sound: LR doesn't work in the same way as most photo editing software, so some background reading is essential.

LR 3.6 cannot view photos in film strip in Library mode. Can view photos on Develop setting.

On LR 3.6 I cannot view my photos on the film strip in the LIBRARY setting. On DEVELOP I can view on photo at a time on the film strip (the rest of the photos are not viewable). This is a new problem which has only occured on the last two imports.

Sounds like a corrupted preview cache. Close LR and find the catalog on the hard drive. Rename the lrdata folder (Windows) / file (Mac) - don't touch the lrcat catalog file. Then open LR and see if the previews reappear. If they do, select all in Grid view tonight when you go to bed and go to Library menu > Previews > Render Standard Sized Previews - it take a long time so it's worth running overnight. If everything looks good in the morning, you can delete the lrdata folder (Windows) / file (Mac) that you renamed earlier.
