Flickr set not created

Hi
I'm using iPhoto 9.1.1. I have a problem with the flickr upload. The photos and videos upload (albeit very slowly compared to standalone flickr app) but the set that is created in iPhoto based on the event is never created.
I'm left with a list of images and videos in flickr that are neither in a set, nor tagged, nor in a collection though iPhoto still thinks that there is a flickr set for this items.
Any idea why that might be?

Flickr sets not synchronizing with Aperture

I have been using Aperture successfully to upload to my Flickr account for some time, but today I have been unable to upload images to a set. Curiously however, I can upload to my Photostream directly. I can use Flickr to move those items into a set, but in Aperture, I will never see those items in the set, no matter how many times I choose to "synchronize".
The feel of synchronization seems weird now. The publish or synchronize buttons induce a quick spin of the status icon, as if they are doing their job, then almost instantly stop, but nothing has happened. Like I say though, I can share to my photostream just fine though, so there doesn't seem to be any overall problem with the account connection.
I'm considering removing the Flickr account connection from my Aperture preferences, then remaking it, but I'm loathe to try that. I don't want to loose all of Aperture's existing knowledge of how the items in my Flickr sets correspond to items in my library, and I suspect I would lose that if I deleted the Flickr link.
Any suggestion of a less drastic solution before I try this would be welcome.
Extra points for fair disclosure or irrelevant extra information:
I had to reinstall Aperture 3.4.1 a month or so ago, after a failed update. Apple techs told me to do so after Aperture would crash when starting, from an apparently not uncommon bug with the installer. Although Facebook synchronization is working fine, I believe this is the first time since that I have tried uploading to Flickr.

I've found Flickr/Aperture sync problematical for some time, particularly when uploading to sets. Uploading to photostream worked fine - however, selecting a particular set appeared to have the effect of stripping out some of the IPTC data in particular replacing the date taken with the date uploaded.
Apple have shown little interest in remedying this. Until they do, I recommend uploading to photostream and allocating the image to a set from within Flickr.
Alternatively, use a plug-in (Flickr Export for Aperture by Connected Flow works very well for me).

HTML Data Set not created?

I have created a very basic page to test (and learn) about dynamic spry regions, but the data set constructor does not seem to be instantiating the data set. At this point I'm keeping it very simple just to see how things work.
Per the Spry Framework documentation, I moved the framework include files into my site and I created a table in a separate .html file containing only the table, fotm_db_frag.html, as a fragment. The table is simple; opening it in DW CS3 shows it's well formed with a header row and data rows. It's id tag is set to "dsFotm"

At this point, I select the content of the container div and attempt to use visual aids to insert a spry region, but the dialog that pops up says that no data sets have been defined. I tried saving the file, I looked at Testing server options (left this set at None), I looked in the help to see if there was anything I needed to do in order for the script to run ... but I couldn't find anything that would make the new constructor instantiate data set dsFotmdb.
Help please !!!
BTW: before starting all this, I downloaded Spry 1.6.1 Framework and updated my copy of DW CS3 with the spry updater (that all seemed to work).

Try making a simple XML file and Dataset to see if that works

Republish to Flickr from LR4 posts as new photos instead of updates them (only one set, not all)

I have a single set on Flickr that I cannot republish updates to from LR4 - republishing a modified photo posts it as a new photo. All other sets seem to work fine. I use the "built-in" Flickr plugin and LR4.3 with a Flickr Pro account. This issue started with LR4.2 when I got my Nikon D800. I've tried just about everything I can think of and have been searching for any similar problems for months and decided to finally ask for help myself.
Back in October I created a set of an event, and published the photos to Flickr without issue. A week later I wanted to republish a few photos and noticed that they instead published to the set as new. If I mark to republish, yet another copy is posted as new. After some testing, this is only for images in this one particular set - any other images in any other set update their existing version as expected.
After a while I began to wonder if the machine tag I added was causing it (active:event=) so I removed the tag from the image on both sides and tried to republish again with the same results.
Naturally I delete the new copy of the image from Flickr which then dissassociates the LR photo with anything on Flickr. I found another (cludgy) plugin which can associate photos in LR with photos on Flickr and that fixes the link between the two. But again, republish from LR and a new copy shows up.
Any ideas? This has been driving me nuts. I haven't found any special permissions or settings on the Flickr set or within LR which would explain why this one set is affected and no others. I don't want to delete the set on Flickr and lose the history. I'm trying to avoid having to manually update the images on Flickr where I would also have to manually update the titles, etc.

This has happened for LR4.2, 4.3, 4.4, and now LR5. The seemingly random nature of this bug is irratating. Last week while still on LR4.4 I published a photo, changed it, and was able to republish it without issue. Today on LR5 I published a set and went to republish a handful of photos only for them to be added as new photos to the set. LR5 indicated that they were photos to republish and not new ones to the set.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

OOTB approval worfklow not creating task when require checkout is set as Yes on the document library

HI,
I set the document library versioning to "require check-out" to yes.
I set the workflow settings to create an approval workflow and "start the workflow when the item is created".
I create a new document from the document template, save and check-in. The workflow task is not getting created, however the workflow is started.
when i change the require check-out to "No" and create a new document as above, the workflow tasks are getting created.
Can someone advise on what is the problem when versioning is enabled?? can anyone provide solution. thanks.

According to your description, my understanding is that the task was not created after the approval workflow was running when setting the require check out to be yes.
I tested the scenario in my environment, if I used the Office client application to create documents, then the task would not be created even when the workflow was running.
There may be some reason that the creating task action is missed when the document is created using Office client application and the require check out is set to be yes.
As a workaround, I recommend to install Office Web Apps and use Office Web Apps to create the documents when setting the require check out to be yes.
The workflow will be starting before the documents is checked in, and it will create the task after the document is checked in.

How do I set a specific computer to not create a mobile user profile but let it just remain a network-user after authentication?

Hi,
I have a group of computers that are set to create mobile users (aka syncing the home dir).
Now I want to create a second group, that *just* authenticates the user (aka logging in, but not creating a local-synced home).
Both computer-groups should co-exist and be available to the same users.
I tried just setting the preferences in the computer group in the mobility section as "Manage Always" and the checkbox at "Account Creation", "Create mobile account" *disabled*, but the computers in the group still start the syncing process and create a mobile user on the local machine. I tried to set the params of Home- and Preference-Sync to "never", but the issue remains.

If this base station is actually the "snow" then you will need a Mac or PC that can run a version of the AirPort Utility that can administer this "very old" 802.11b base station. You won't be able to do so with an iOS device or Mac running Lion or newer OS.

Version Set is not created when editing with Photoshop CS4?

Last week I was working in PSE7 and opening files into PS CS4 for editing. I open the files by clicking the Open with link and choose Photoshop. I edited several dozen photos and when I closed them from PS CS4 Version Sets were created in PSE7 like they should be. At some point that stopped happening. Now when I do as before and open the files into PS CS4, edit them, and then close them the Version Set is not being created in PSE7. I look in the folder containing the files and the file has a new modified date but it still has the same file name instead of being saved with the - edited name as before. Does anyone know why the version sets are no longer being created when editing with PS CS4? I can edit the files with the PSE7 editor and the version sets are created as they should be. Thanks!

Okay so tha there is no misunderstanding here is exactly what I'm doing. From the PSE7 Organizer I select a photo (file name Tetons & Jenny Lake 026.jpg) and click the Fix tab. I then click More Options and select Photoshop. The photo opens in into PS CS4. I make my edits click the x on the tab to close the image and I'm asked "Save changes to the Adobe Photoshop document "Tetons & Jenny Lake 026_edited-1.jpg" before closing?" I click Yes then click OK to save the image at maximum quality. I go back to the PSE 7 Organizer and there is no version set. I check the folder the original image was in and see the original file Tetons & Jenny Lake 026.jpg with a new modified date and time. I can even choose Save As from PS CS4 and it asks me if I want to overwrite Tetons & Jenny Lake 026_edited-1.jpg and I select Yes, but I get the exact same results. Thanks!

In Project server 2013, users are getting Project Site Provisioning Pop-up even after Operational Policies set as Do
not create a sites.
We can use “Deny” Global Permission, “Manage SharePoint Foundation”, which controls Project site creation/ delete
as temporary workaround however want to know is this know defect in Project server 2013?

I can reproduce the same behaviour in my environment. It pops-up the dialog box when Project Site Provisioning settings set to 'Do Not Create' in the Central admin for the Project Web App.
As you mentioned already you can control it via permissions as an work-around.
Alternatively, you can also ask users to select the check box 'Don't show this again for this project'

Create DC Failed: base-version-set-not-open

About a week ago, I created a new track BAMSPOC2. I imported a number of components into it from another track. Today, I'm trying to create a new DC on this BAMSPOC2 track. However, I keep getting a "Create DC Failed" error such as the following:

Anyone have any ideas as to what this error is? what base-version-set-not-open means?
A local folder is created: DCs/myvendor.com/capabilities/_comp/
And, I can create DC's on other tracks just fine.

Seems that the « Reuse connection » command is essential to assure that an application use ONLY ONE Jco. I get rid of the disconnectIfAlive.
Recommendation 1: Put all the BAPIs that you call in the same system into the same model!
Recommendation 2: If you canu2018t follow recommendation 1, make sure that the two models synchronize their (JCo) connections!

Connected SharePoint Sites listing Projects eventhough "Do not create a site" is set

Hi
Is it normal to see a list of projects in the PWA > Server Settings > "Connected SharePoint Sites" eventhough we have configured the config settings to "Do not create a site"? Is it actually creating sites or is it just listing
the projects that are store in Project On-Line ?
Note, only the names of projects display no other fields in that table are populated?

If no site URL is there it is normal, all project names are listed there regardless.

Upload to Flickr but not Facebook

When I upload to Flickr, my preferred home for photos, the same files appear in Facebook. Is there a a way to upload to Flickr only, but selectively upload to Facebook?

You do not have to post to both Facebook and Flickr at the same time. I found some steps to just post your photos to a Flickr album without posting to your Facebook account:
To create a new Flickr album to publish as a Flickr set
1. Do one of the following:
In the Library inspector, select an item.
In the Browser, select a group of photos.
2. Do one of the following:
Choose File > Share > Flickr.
Choose Flickr from the Share pop-up menu in the toolbar.
3. In the dialog that appears, do the following:
If you have multiple Flickr accounts, choose the Flickr account you want to publish to from the Flickr Account pop-up menu.
Choose New Set from the Set pop-up menu.
In the Set Name field, give your Flickr set a name.
In the “Photos Viewable by” pop-up menu, choose an access level to set who can view your Flickr set.
In the Photo Size pop-up menu, choose an image size option.
4. Click Publish.

I have verified that the service account for the SPUCHostService is a domain account belonging to the the WSS_WPG local group (I also tried adding to the WSS_ADMIN_WPG group with no more success). The WSS_WPG
group has read and write access to the log folder mentioned above.
I started troubleshooting this when I tried to activate and use the CRM 2011 list control. And found that other sandboxed solutions also fail which lead me to look at the SharePoint 2010 User Code Host, which will not keep running.
I have a Sharepoint 2010 enterprise farm with one WFE and one seperate database server all on a single domain. The WFE is running on Windows 2008 sp2 (64 bit).
I look forward to your advice / suggestions.
PS. I have been working on this for a couple days, and have read many issues that seem to be related, but I have already checked that the Service is now set to automatic, that the service account is a member of the WSS_WPG group and should therefore
have rights to the Logs folder. It is also a member of the Local Administrators and the Performance Log Users group.

Acctg document not created for cancellation invoice

Hi all,
We have a vehicle sales order created with payment card. The SO contains one item for vehicle and one item for parts. The items were delivered and invoiced separately. Hence, SO has one vehicle sales invoice (VSI) and one parts sales invoice (PSI).
The standard procedure was to post VSI first before the PSI. Accounting documents have been created when both invoices were posted. However, there was a need to cancel the PSI. When this was done, cancellation invoice was created but there was no accounting document posted for the cancellation.
I tried simulating the scenario in our test server and cancelled VSI 90000081 first before cancelling PSI 90000082 to test if this can be an alternative solution. Cancellation for VSI was posted successfully but error persists for PSI cancellation.

sorry - my first answer was in mistake - Status K means:
"The transaction is processed using payment cards. The order, however, does not contain valid authorization.
This problem occurs in billing documents for follow-up deliveries."
Could you check this ? Last way would be to set a breakpoint into the FM 'RV_ACCOUNTING_DOCUMENT_CREATE'
and trigger this via VF02 -> Release to accounting.
