Flickr slideshow keeps reloading the same photo repeatedly.

When viewing a Flickr slideshow I pause the slideshow. After a few seconds, the little progress bar appears in the center of the photo, then the screen momentarily turns black, then the photo reappears. This repeats again and again. Very annoying. I'm running the latest version of Flash Player (11.5.502.169 for my Windows 7 64 system with both IE and Firefox. I've seen other with this same problem over in the Flicker forums too.

This sounds like it might be an issue with the Flickr slide show code. Have you tried contacting them to see what they have to say? You might want to also try rolling Flash Player back to a previous version to see if still occurs. If it does not, then it might point to an issue with Flash Player in which case we should add a bug to bugbase.adobe.com.

After installing the 4.09 fix to process RAW from Sony RX100 (after updating to 3.5.1), photos do not continue to load into Aperture from the external hard drive where they are referenced. The same photo is stuck in the adjustments frame to be worked on and the photos will not advance, no matter what I try, so i can work on the next one. I can only work on a few at a time and then i have to go away and come back another day. 4.09 does fix the barrel distortion but it has completely gummed up the uploading of the referenced photos. It's taking me days and weeks to process a couple of hundred photos.

The Macbook Air is a low end Macintosh for graphics apps and you are asking it to perform a heavy pro workflow using a pro application. The integrated GPU of MBAs is a serious limiter to heavy graphics. Personally I would expect flaky performance with certain operations. In general I recommend that Aperture users choose boxes with independent GPUs and capable of taking 16 GB RAM if necessary.
It will be important to carefully optimize workflow. How much RAM is in the MBA? The most Apple specs is 8 GB but you can check OWC to see if you can go to 16 GB. My Aperture/Photoshop workflow paged out at 8 GB RAM before I upgraded to 16 GB RAM.
You should evaluate whether or not you have adequate RAM:
Look at the Page Outs number under System Memory on the Activity Monitor app before starting a typical Aperture/Photoshop work session and write the number down. Recheck the Page Outs count after working for a few hours and write the number down again. If the page outs change (manual calculation of ending page outs number minus starting page outs number) is not zero your workflow is RAM-starved.
Ignore the pie charts and other info in Activity Monitor because they can be misleading regarding RAM usage. For RAM analysis, manually count page outs before and after a work session.

Keeps loading the same photos!

I've had my iphone 3g since the day it came out. I have been syncing the photos I take on it with iphoto since the same time. Recently, however, everytime I connect my iphone3g to my macbookpro and open iphoto and tell it to "import" it keeps loading in pictures from multiple "imports" ago...
So, for instance....
Say I took 5 pics Monday... Then synced it = 5 monday pics
Then I took 3 pics Tuesday.. Then Synced it = 5monday pics + 3tuesday pics
Then I took 5 pics Wed.. Then synced it =5monday, 3 tuesday, 5wednesday pics.
It even does the whole "what do you want to do with duplicates" and I say "dont import for ALL" and it still duplicates half of them. I dont know what the heck happened but this is frustrating as every time I try to sync to import 1-5 photos from that day/week/whatever I have to reload like 250 photos, most all I have loaded multiple times now! It takes forever and is completely unnecessary.
Any help??

You can import photos with iPhoto that were captured by your iPhone or photos in your iPhone's camera roll, and you can transfer photos from iPhoto to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
Not sure what the problem is with the duplicates, but do you use iPhoto for importing photos from any other digital camera and if so, do you leave the imported photos on the camera after the import process is complete?
After I import photos from my iPhone's camera roll with iPhoto, I delete the imported photos from my iPhone after the import process is complete. If I want or need any of the imported photos available on my iPhone for viewing, I add the recently imported photos to an existing iPhoto album that I've selected to be transferred to my iPhone under the Photos tab for my iTunes sync preferences followed by a sync, or I create a new iPhoto album for the recently imported photos, select the new album under the Photos tab for my iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync. This way I have selected photos organized for viewing on my Mac or iPhone via iPhoto albums, and this reduces the time for my iPhone's backup since I don't have 100's of photos in the camera roll that I'm constantly adding to.

Tell us more, please - so it is hard to say.
What is your Aperture version? And where is your Aperture library located?
Are you syncing your library in any way? With Facebook, Flickr, Photo Streams?
Where did you delete the photos from? from an album, web album, project? Did you empty the Aperture trash and the trash on your desktop?

Photos repeatedly importing the same photos.

Photos is reimporting the same photos every time I connect my iPhone or iPad.
I'm running the most recent OS and iOS (iPhone 6, iPad 2) and most recent version of Photos. Every time I connect my phone or ipad "import new photos" re-imports the same set of photos, as well as any new photos.
Previous there was the "keep the photo app open on your phone when you connect" fix - as far as I can tell that is not still the case?
Any ideas what might be causing this?

It sounds like you Photos app seems to think the same photos it has already imported need to be reimported over and over again along with photos that actually are new on the device whenever you connect it. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the iPhone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device, and your computer as well then test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Sorry, you question doesn't make sense. If you're trying to import photos, in your camera roll, to iPhoto, iPhoto doesn't import them twice.

Your phone is toast. Contrary to what the lovely folks in the jalibreaking community say, attempting to restore the iPhone to "factory" condition does not always remove the jailbreak. You'll need to contact those bozos and see if they can help you.
Hint: start saving for a new phone.

You have a number of things that will make this not work.
Your mailto link is not the way to go, take a look at this and it should get you on the right path.

On your action page, you can have it give the thank you message that you want. Having a seperate page saying they forgot to do something complicates matters more than you might wish at this point, and usually irritates people. however if you decide you want to go that way, look up "sticky forms". What this does is re-populate the fields when they have to go back to correct.
A better way would be to validate the information, you can use Spry if you want which is built into dreamweaver.
You also have in your html form this
enctype="multipart/form-data"
That is used for sending files, and since you are not, the form would not work, so you want to remove it.

Connect the iPod to your computer. Click on the iPod under Devices and iTunes. How large is the "other" category as shown in the colored bargraph? If larger than about 3/4 GB, restore the iPod. That large of "other" indicates corrupted files.

If your application permits, you can do this:
1. Create an URLClassLoader with an URL referencing the original version of the JAR;
2. Create an instance of a class, most probably a Runnable, keeping a reference to it;
3. Use the object created in 2.
And when you want to reload the JAR, you set the reference to null, perform any cleanup needed, and repeat those three steps again.
