Flickr upload not working

Since updating from iPhoto to Photo, I no longer can upload to flickr.  I try Share>Flickr & get "Exporting # of # items for sharing" message and then nothing happens!  I tried and logged in Flickr to see if anything was there, and nothing.  Any help please?

BTW, single file uploads from w/in Aperture do work.

  • Mac Version PSE12. Flickr upload not working

I get the error message "There was a problem with your internet connection. Please check that a firewall is not blocking Elements Organizer from accessing the internet and that you have an internet connection."
I have reinstalled PSE12. used to work fine in pse11.
    anybody solved this one?

How big is the file size for the completed gif? Does it display like this in other programs?
Also, are you sure that it's not affecting the display rate? Remember that .2 second is really fast. Even duping will still leave it going pretty quickly. What puzzles me is that you say it makes no difference at all. If you want a sloow gif, like one where an eye blinks every five seconds or so, you'll need to use something else to create it.

  • Flickr / 500px / Facebook etc. Upload not working

I know this has been discussed before, but it's such a silly thing that it needs to be brought up until Apple fixes the problem.
By now I am using three different browsers because of the shortcomings of Safari/iOS. Now it looks like I have to buy iCab, a fourth browser to upload images to Flickr, 500px etc.
Well, I'm not gonna do that.
There is no app for 500px.com, and the one for Flickr is not optimised for the iPad.
This is a basic task anyway and should work from the start.
Any officials with some news regarding this topic?
    Cheers

  • Flickr module not working

    Hello,
I'm using Lightroom to update my Flickr account but now it is not working. I always get this message:
    Plug-in error log for plug-in at: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.6\Flickr.lrplugin
    **** Error 1
This plug-in’s post-processing task did not finish successfully.
Flickr API returned an error message (function flickr.photos.getInfo, message Photo not found)
After Googleing around I think there is problem with Flickr requiring a https connection, Flickr: The Help Forum: [Official Thread] Flickr API switching to https-only on June 27th, 2014!, but I don't know how to proceed and when I tried contacting Adobe I was directed here.
I'm running Lightroom 5.6 on a Windows 64 bit system.
    Best regards,
    Lysi

painfully examine the uploaded photos to discover which few that LR thought had been successfully uploaded but hadn't actually made it -- I can give you a trick about how to do that reasonably quickly, if you want
Put LR in one half of your screen and the browser in the offer half.  In LR, select the Flickr published collection in question.  In the browser, go to Flickr's Organize > Albums & Collections and double-click the corresponding album.  In LR, use the Thumbnails slider to adjust the number of thumbnails displayed, and adjust the width of the browser window to adjust the number of thumbnails that Flickr displays, so that each is showing the same number of thumbnails per row.  Then you can quickly skim down the rows looking at the first thumbnail in each row to ensure it's the same.  When you get to a row with different first thumbnails, the missing photo is in the previous row.  (Click on the screen shot below to see what it looks like.)
Once I figured this out, it only took 5 minutes to find the 5 photos out of 5000 uploaded that didn't actually make it to Flickr.

  • Why is my YouTube upload not working in CC 2014.0.1?

I understand that the MOOV Atom issue was supposed to be fixed in the new version of PPro/AME released yesterday.
New to the issue? The MOOV (or Movie) Atom is a piece of metadata that belongs at the very top of a streaming MP4 file. In the previous iteration of PPro/AME, the YouTube upload was a two-pass VBR process and it put the MOOV atom at the END of the file; a third-party software, MP4 FastStart, was required to move the MOOV. Then, YouTube uploads went without a hitch.
"Without a hitch" means: YouTube acknowledges your upload and delivers the URL at which the video will appear when finished.
There is NO "Video/Audio Quality" warning! That warning, indicating that the video you're uploading is not a streaming video, is a sign of trouble.
I upload a 1 1/2 minute file and it appears to work perfectly i.e. no warning messages.
However, when I upload the full 2 hours 15 minutes, it warns. The warning is not without teeth: my first upload of my large video was still not ingested and processed by YouTube after 4 hours. It would display...but this lovely work that I had uploaded at 1080p was showing in 360p.
An additional issue is that the bit rate (8Mbps in the older version) has been bumped up to 16, making for huge upload files (literally double). Even after cutting the bit rate back in half to 8, it warns; I didn't complete the upload but suspect it still would not display properly.
I'm now uploading the work separately by act (1 hour 15 and 1 hour for the two acts, respectively). If that doesn't work, I will need to uninstall and carefully re-install the software, not allowing the update to install (I'm told by TS that this is possible), and then get my work done. I'd obviously rather not have to do that. I'll actually do the uploads to YouTube this time and see if they process fully, whether or not I get the "Audio/Video Quality" message in the beginning.
If anyone has any ideas (other than pointing out to the engineers via bug report that they seem to have messed up) I'm eager to hear.
    Jay

Check with your host for permission settings. If it works locally, and on other servers, then the code works, it just may not work in the particular
environment your host has set up.

  • Youtube uploading not working?

I tried the one-click youtube upload option and it says that my name/password are incorrect. I definitely have IE cookies open and the name/password for the youtube account is correct. any idea what the problem is? Also, I notice the size for a .5 minute movie was over 00mb. Any suggestions on how to crop it down easily without too much quality loss? I was under the impression that youtube mode did this, but I can't get that to work.

    Ok,
Got vado central youtube uploader to work.
Here is the issue, at least when using?Internet Explorer v8:
Go to menu bar,?tools, internet options, advanced tab, security section, the "check for server certificate revocation*" needs to be off instead of on.
Close internet explorer and re-open so it takes effect. Then youtube uploaders works.
Not sure why this is an issue using vado central youtube uploader and probably a bug as every other youtube uploader I have used with other software products has no trouble when "certificate revocation" is on

  • Upload not working in Windows

    When using the
    FileReference in Flex 2
    final, I get an
IOError followed by an HTTPError 403, when trying to upload
using Windows. It's the same for Internet Explorer and FireFox.
However, it works great on a mac, using both Safari and FireFox. I
can't find any information regarding this problem. I am not sure if
this is related to Flex 2 or the actual player, due to it's
    platform difference.
Can anyone confirm that file upload is working for Flex 2
    Final, and Flash Player 9.0.16.

    Alright,
So after spending a life time trying to debug the tcp flow
from windows to the server, I was giving up.
And then comes my colleague and finds this direct in google.
We are running a pretty tight ship on our server, and we've
installed mod_security, and it was blocking
    the stream... read more below.
As found in some post somewhere:
There is an issue with http error #406 that seems to be a
result of mod_security and Apache. mod_security can scan post
requests, and as this Flash post header for the FileReference
object is missing a ":"-sign (this is what the server
administrators says at the web hosting company I mostly work with)
mod_security will block that request with a #406.
I have access to two accounts at this web host
(oderland.com), which both uses an application with a Flash image
upload feature. On one of these accounts, which is hosted on a
server without a post request scan, this feature works like a
charm. But on the other one, which is hosted on another server
where the post request scan is active, this feature gets the #406
    on every try.
    log2e said on Feb 26, 2006 at 5:51 AM :
As for the #403 and #406 errors, try to create an .htaccess
file in your root directory with:
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
This solved the problem on my server.

  • Multiple Image Upload not working on macs

    Hello everybody,
I have searched everywhere for an answer to this issue and I'm not sure if there is a solution yet.
I am hoping someone reads this and tells me if either I need to use another product or post a fix for this to work.
I am developing a website for a photographer who needs to upload the pictures he takes for his clients to review on his website.
So on the backend I have created an application where he logs in and creates a new client and then uploads multiple images to that client's folder.
I am of course developing the site in ADDT version 1.0.1. in Dreamweaver CS4.
Everything works as expected except for the image upload part, where he is unable to upload even a single image.
He is using Mac OS X and Safari 3 to access his site.
I use a PC and can upload images perfectly, but the whole purpose of the website is for him to be able to upload images without me.
I read somewhere that ADDT's Multiple Image upload did not work on Macs because of the way that the OS handles image uploads to the server via HTTP. I also know that Flash v.10 had an issue with this behaviour in the past, but that it's been fixed with ADDT's v. 1.0.1, which is true since as I said I am able to upload images from my PC using that Flash version.
There is a product called MultiPowUpload from Element-IT (http://www.element-it.com/MultiPowUpload.aspx) that seems to do the exact same thing as ADDT's Multiple Image Upload, and I have tested the Demo version both on Mac and PC and works perfectly well.
I really would like my ADDT behaviour to work, first because I already have the whole site developed in it, plus I am used to the software already, and also because Element-IT's product is a bit pricey for a multiple server license (which I would need for other sites I plan to develop for Mac users).
Any thoughts or pointers you might have will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    Luis Herrero.

Thanks a lot for your replies and helpful ideas.
It turns out that for some strange reason the problem was with the hosting provider.
I have moved another site which was not working with Macs either to a new provider and everything works now as it should be, without changing any files at all.
I have in fact v.1.0.1 in both those sites (those were the first things I checked before posting here) and Flash Player v. 10 both on the Mac and PC, so it will remain a mystery as to why the server behavior did not work with that particular host on Macs.
    Thanks again.
    Best regards.

  • Why does  Flickr share not work in Elements 9?

When I try to use it a message appears 'its being worked on'   This has been an issue for 4 days.  What do I do to use Flickr?

I'm really new to this forum business.  Is there a difference between Photoshop elements and plain Elements?  I thought I was in a forum that could answer my question about Flickr not working in elements or photoshop elements 9.  I need someone to lead me out of the desert and deliver me to a place where I'll find what I'm looking for.

  • Media / Literature Upload not working

Literature upload is not working - urgh.
We can upload small literature items into the BC platform but any files over 10MB are being rejected. It says "Connection was interrupted." We've tested on multiple computers and multiple internet connections. Limit size is set at 100MB. We are well under the size limit.
Everything was working fine a week ago. This issue just started.
So, I went to support chat and they told me to try later. - No help.
So, I went to support and submitted a ticket and they tell me that the developers have been notified and to check back later. - No help.
Any suggestions how we can get support to help out and fix the issue?

    Hi Liam.
Thanks for testing your platform. Can I ask...did you try to load a large (20MB+) file?
We can load small files no problem. Large files - not so much.
I had the support confirm the issue and they told me to wait / check back later with no guidance on timing.
Do you know how I access the next level of support to have this issue resolved a bit quicker?
Client is quite large and not too impressed with the Adobe SLA right now. If I could get support to at least give us a timeframe for fixing the issue that would be a big help.

  • File upload not working in mozilla

I am using a input tag to upload a file.
    <input type="file" name="certFile" size="20" value="<%=certFile%>">
This creates a file chooser with a text field and browse button.
The upload works for IE but not for mozilla firefox ( These are the only two browsers I've tested this with ). The mozilla browser does not return the full file path, just the single name and extention of the file, so I'm getting a file not found error. But in I.E., the full path is returned and the file can be uploaded sucessfully.
I've seen a few posts of similar problems, but none of them seem to have been resolved.
Does anyone have any idea why mozilla is handling these file choosers differently and/or what I can do to possibly fix this problem?

    Huh?
Your problem makes no sense. The filename is included with the upload so that the server knows what the file was originally called. Are you running the JSP locally and reading the file directly off the hard drive??
I note also that you aren't using a multipart form, which is required to upload a file.
    <form action="uploadFile.jsp" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
      <input type="file" name="upload" value="<%= fileName %>" />
</form>You'll need to use the Jakarta Commons FileUpload class to correctly process a form encoded with "multipart/form-data" or getParameter("xxx") will return null. You can also use the older com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartForm or whatever it's called. I'm pretty certain that the Jakarta Commons obsoletes all the COS classes.

  • File Upload Not Work

I have installed the File Upload sample in a Windows 2000 machine with 6i Form Server. When I start the web browser in the machine with the 6i Form Server, I can upload the file without problem. But when I start the web browser in another PC and accessing the 6i Form Server, the file seems uploaded but with 0 byte!!! Besides, the web browser in the PC hangs up.
Please advise what is the most likely cause of the problem, thanks.
    SK

I have several applications using the "multiple upload" behavior with clients on IE7 and flash player 9. Out 8 I only had same problem with one., even though they were created off the same base structure. The solution I found was as simple as it is mysterious.
"Is the file you have this behavior located within the same directory as the "includes" folder or within another directory? "
Let's say the directory of the includes folder is:
    root/public_html/includes
and your page with the behavior is:
    root/public_html/folder/multiUpload.php
For some reason and not on all sites if the file with the behavior is not in the same directory as the includes folder then the behavior you described occurs. The solution I came up with is to make a folder in the directory named "includes" and copy the "tng" into the folder on the same level as the file with the behavior.
    root/public_html/folder/includes
    root/public_html/folder/multiUpload.php
Hope this works for you, it took me the better part of a week to figure this out, not sure why it works, I suspect a setting within ADDT was corrupted. Like I said before most of my clients don't have this problem even though they all use the same files (as in copies).
    Hope this helps
