Flip 8220, lost Blackberry PIN, only a 2 shows up on the options/status screen
Is there any solutions ?
After aprox 9 months working fine the phone suddenly lost its PIN, only shows up a 2 on the status screen. The internet and blackberry services by the wireless service provider are not anymore available (the services are active), the EDGE status is not in capital letters.
Can this be corrected to the original PIN number ?
Or is the phone just damaged ?

I have not heard of this. I've heard of the pin going to FFFFFFFF but never just to a 2. Have you tried removing the battery to reboot the device? If so, then I'm guessing the device is defective or has been disabled for some reason. Did you purchase the device new? If so, it should be covered under warranty if it's only 9 months old.

you are probably seeing the extended display.. to see ur main display go to pefrences then display steeings and turn mirroring on.

I shared a photo stream of 174 pictures but only 20 are showing up in the folder that was sent out. Any solutions?
Help much appreciated!Upload to the shared Photo Streams can take a long time. Sometimes hours. Did the photos appear by now in the stream?
Is the iCloud status o.k. ( iCloud Support webpage)?
Did you share from your mac or from a mobile device? And where are you checking the stream? On your Mac? If you are uploading from a mobile device - is the battery fully charged? Uploading to the Photo Stream is the first that will be suspended, if the device needs charging.

When I'm presenting using an external projector, the only thing that shows up on the view screen is my desktop screen. It will also display a powerpoint file, but only in slide show mode. No other files (word, excel, etc) or safari will display. How can I get what I see on my computer screen to show up on the external screen?

You can either set it to "mirror" or arrange the monitors side by side. Then when you want to show the working window on your projector slide it in the direction you set as the second monitor. Many teachers will do this to show a video or powerpoint to their class while working on another document or answering emails. -
Why is How I Met Your Mother Season 3 "Episode Only" when every other season has the option to buy the entire season?

All of those Seller steps, of course, should be done before the device is delivered to the buyer. After that point, there is nothing you can do, unless you happened (still before) to have installed BB Protect onto the device, in which case you could use the tools it has to perhaps wipe it now.
All in all, this is a difficult lesson for you to learn...giving away personal information is something that no one should ever do, and yet exactly what you did do.

SOME pictures (only some) not showing up in the edit frame
Hello
Instead of viewing the picture in the edit screen, it's just grey, with an exclamation mark in the middle, and a white doted frame.
Strangely enough, this occurs only for pictures
1, imported from a CD,
2, and only for the pictures in landscape!
In addition, this issue is new: it worked perfectelly well two weeks ago. I am not 100% sure, but I think that within the 4 updates I dwonloaded a few days ago, there was an update for iPhoto. Could it be that there is a small problem with the last update?
Other info: around 2,500 pictures in my library, all .JPG

Thanks in advance,It has to be some issue with the files coming from a PC to disk and then to the Mac. Give the following a try. It's a process that will create a new library and rebuild it without touching your original library so it's nondestructive.
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: It can take some time to create the new library if you have a lot of photos. One user reported that with a library of about 5,000 images it took about 12 hours so plan ahead. -
Webcam the only thing that shows up in the device selection
I am trying to use Adobe flash media encoder 3.2 it only shows my webcam under devices that I can select (with two different names). I can't get it to show my computer screen. If someone could give me step by step instructions on how to get my computer screen to show up that would be great.

Please could you let us know which version of Photoshop you are using and whether the extensions menu is now greyed out? If you used Adobe add-ons to download your products, it will be easy to reinstall them directly from the 'My Add-ons' link on the left-hand side of the add-ons website: creative.adobe.com/addons.
If, however, you are a CS6 user and use Adobe Exchange to obtain products for Photoshop, the 'My Stuff' section of the panel, as well as Extension Manager, will give you an indication of what should and shouldn't be currently installed in your copy of Photoshop.

Why when copying pics to albums from my photostream do only a few show up in the album?
when copying photos from the 'photostream' album to new albums only a very few selected actually get copied. And those that do go to the new album also go into the 'photo' album. Why don't all selected pics get copied and why do they go to the photo album and in the new album?
Thanks, but after installing this nothing seems to have changed except that if I download the .mp4 files from my Mac they appear on the Desktop. They can be played with Quicktime but if they are played in VLC there is no sound
The folder on my external HDD which contains the .mp4 files still does not ahow up.
I am now very confused!

You have created an Extended Desktop. The up-down-left-right arrangement is done in the Arrange pane in
System Preferences > Displays > Arrange
The second screen is added to one edge of the first screen. The mouse moves freely off the edge of one screen and onto the other screen. You can drag and drop files or windows from one screen to the other. -
My IPAD said to update so I did, it shut down now all that appears is Itunes logo and and arrow with a plug

I have uninstalled and re-installed toolbar and restarted browser AND pc & still have the problem. I also used my CCleaner and Registry Cleaner between uninstalling and re-installation. This problem happened after I upgraded to Firefox 36.0 Beta.
Hello again. I downgraded to version 35.0 and everything is back to normal and Yahoo toolbar is back as before.

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.
