    Sorry, I know this is simple. How do you flip an image to the opposite side? The train on the right becomes the train on the left.
    I tried modify - reverse and it just went backwards.

  • How to wrap an image around a mug in Photoshop CS5?

    I have tried many things like transform -> warp or tried to play with 3D but nothing gave me an effect like this image. Does anyone know a good tutorial or would like to explain to me how to wrap an image around a mug and make it look realistic like this?

    For Photoshop Elements
    Step A
    Select the Type Tool, type in your text
    .. then look at the top of the
    page
    You will see an arc with a T over it
    Click on that and you will be
    able to curve the text
    Step B
    There are 3 items to consider in order for this project to come out
    satisfactorily.
    A. The picture of the coffee mug needs to be properly
    sized, and enhanced
    B. Directions for the text above
    C. The picture for application to the mug needs to be
    configured so that its curvature conforms. I shall give you directions, but the
    values may require adjustment for your particular picture:
    Duplicate background layer, and shut off visibility by clicking on its eye
    icon
    Increase canvas size Image>resize>canvas
    size. Uncheck relative. Enter new values for width & height. Try 120% (+/-).
    You need more "real estate" for the next steps. The checkerboard pattern denotes
    transparency, which you want all around.
    Rotate picture. Image>rotate>layer, 90
    degrees right
    Filter>distort>spherize. Set mode to vertical only. Amount 100%
    Filter>distort>shear. Click center of control line, grab this center
    handle, and pull just a little to left
    Rotate picture back. Image>rotate>layer>90 degrees left
    Copy to clipboard, paste on picture of mug. Position and adjust size with
    move tool.
    Edit: Resolution of picture of mug and of picture to be applied should be about
    the same number. You can check this in Image>resize>picture size before you embark on
    above.

  • HT4528 I recently downloaded ios7 and I'm getting the hang of it. However, my gyroscope stopped working.  I can't flip an image from vertical to horizontal. How do I fix this?

    My phone gyro stopped working.  How do I flip an image from vertical to horizontal?

    Hey Bill Seiden,
    Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with the orientation of your iPhone. Let's check to make sure orientation lock is not enabled, you can do so from the Control Center:
    Lock the screen in portrait orientation - Control Center
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TI152#TI152
    Lock the screen in portrait orientation.
    Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen to reveal Control Center.
    Tap to lock the screen in portrait orientation.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Need to rotate image around the axis

    Hi, I'm using this ti rotate the image, it works but I need to rotate the image around the center of the image, center axis.
    I don't understad what is the meaning of values 50 and 60, and what I need to write instead?
    public void paintComponent_new(Graphics g){
    super.paintComponent(g);
    Graphics2D g2 = (Graphics2D)g;
    g2.rotate (Math.toRadians(angle),60,60);
    g2.drawImage(pre.getImage(), 50, 50, this);
    g2.dispose();
    }

    Using that method, the rotation occurs around the point (x,y). The rotation is a measure of theta radians. One radian translates to 180/PI degrees; thus, there are 2*PI radians in 360 degrees.
    So if, for example, you wanted to rotate round the point (40,40) exactly 90 degrees, you could use
    Graphics2D g2d = ...;
    g2d.rotate(Math.PI/2, 40, 40);Note that this rotation is a translation of the view, not a translation of any contents. That means that anything drawn to the Graphics2D object will appear as if rotated in that fashion. Therefore, if you draw an image onto that Graphics2D object after calling rotate in that fashion, the image will be rotated as well.

  • How can I mount iSight upside down and flip the image?

    My Custom desk setup wont fit any of the given iSight mounts. The only way I can mount it is upside down but can;t find a way to flip the image...
    Power PC G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)   Flat Panel Display

    I'll put in my 2 cents for this app. Works GREAT with iSight and QT Pro and iMovie HD. Seen it pop up on other apps (iChat for one) but rarely use it on for these few apps. Safari opens iGlasses for some reason... Anyone know why?

  • How do i take a image of a wine glass and wrap a image around it in indesign cs6

    How do i take and image of a wine glass and wrap another image around it!

    InDesign isn't the correct application for such a manipulation.
    If the "image of a wine glass" is a 2-dimensional image, you may be able to create the illusion of something wrapped around it in Photoshop, but there won't be any automatic solutions. Fundamentally, what you're proposing is a function of 3-D modeling.

  • I have an envy all in one, how do i flip the image to print on a transfer.

  • Moving an image around in a drop zone in DVD studio

    Hi there
    I am pretty new to this DVD studio program, and I often am using templates to make my client DVDs. One major major problem I always come across is when I have to drop images in, they always dont fit properly, let me show you one for example
    http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/8978/picture8vt.png
    This always happens when I drop images in Final cut. Is there a way I can move my Image around that box?
    Thanks in advance!
    Message was edited by: blackout2008

    if you click on a corner handle of the drop zone then press shift and drag the corner outwards, the drop zone will snap fit to match the format ratio of the image revealing the complete image
    the reason you wont be able to move the image sideways is that there wont be any image to reveal-if the image is a different ratio to the drop zone, the image will fit inside the drop zone either by hieght or width
    if the drope zones dont provide what you want-its very simple to create your own in a graphics application

  • Why can you flip an image in Photoshop, but not Cmera RAW, or can you?  (CS5)

    Why can you flip an image in Photoshop, but not Cmera RAW, or can you?  (CS5)

    Doesn't look like you can. I'm just a user, so I don't know why. It can be done in Lightroom if that's any consolation.

  • Stupid Question - How do you flip an image or footage in Motion?

    I've been searching for the last 10mins but can't find any info on how to do this. I'd just like to flip an image horizontally - where is the flip command?
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Cheers

    Or twirl open the Rotation parameter and adjust the Y rotation by 180 degrees.
    Andy
    PS: If you're going for upside down, then substitute the X rotation.

    I think a scaling ( AffineTransorm.scale) with negative values will invert the x-y axes.
