I went online via an openzone nearby, downloaded the hub manager thingy and this told me I had to reste my password to get my hub to work I did this and connect to BB wirelessly via my home hub.
BUT my iphone refuses to accet the new password.
It will not accept the default password.
I have tried making a new network as advised on other forums, still does not work.
Resetting networks, does not work, changing the channell on the hub, nope.

For AA XI, you only need the 11.0.09 patch. Download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (Use "MAC" if a MAC is used).

No, you should be able to use/install LR5.  Make sure you are using the correct number.  If the problem continues explain the details of what you do and what happens.
You should try contacting Adobe Support thru chat and see if they can resolve this with you.  or the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

  • I have 2x Home Hub 5's, can i use my 2nd Home Hub ...

    Hi All,
I hope someone can help me
As the title suggests, I have 2x Home Hub 5 routers in my possession, and i have a little room at the back of the garden, i would like to setup the 2nd Home Hub 5 in the little room at the back of the garden, therefor essentially having a 2nd wifi signal and 3/4 Ethernet ports in the little room, Unfortunately i cannot use a powerline because for some reason the builder hasn’t wired it that way, i can however run a 10m Ethernet cable to the room at the back.
So my question is how do I use a HH5 as a repeater/slave, together with a HH5 master? Is it even possible as i assume ISP provided routers arnt as flexible with many settings?
If this idea doesn’t work of 2x HH5's working together, is there something else i could buy instead?
Also, i have seen this product on the BT website,
    http://connectedhome.bt.com/product/wifi-home-hotspot-500-kit-powerline-adapter/
this product seems to be perfect, but it wants to connect to your master router via powerline, I'm looking for the exact same setup (2nd wifi/RJ45 ports further away) but to connect to your master via Ethernet and not powerline
Your advice will be much appreciated
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for your reply Keith
ok so ive followed those instructions and it appears to be working, the master hub is working as normal, im currently running my desktop and smartphones off the slave hub to test it all for obvious reasons but ive noticed some strange things, such as,
    1. although ethernet and wifi on the slave hub is working, the orange light is constantly on, and the 'b' symbol is flashing none stop on the slave hub, (blue light on the master hub)
    2. i am unable to carry out instruction "Click Port Forwarding, then Firewall and select Disabled, click apply"  this is due to firstly the options are reversed when logged into the router, you can click on the firewall tab, then port forwarding tab, not the otherway round as described in the instruction, then there is no disable button :-/, not sure if this instruction is out of date?

  • Home hub connected but can't open web pages

    Hi
Having a problem accessing any web pages. Has been like this for last 3 days. All the lights on the BT Home Hub are on and according to the task bar on my laptop it is connected and signal etc is all fine. When you open browser it tries to connect but never loads a page and eventually times out. Have phoned BT broadband help and they say there is nothing wrong with the line. Pretty certain it's not my laptop as my wife's has exactly the same problem and she uses a different browser and has different anti-virus software.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

I have also had exactly the same problem!
I've had the BT Broadband option 1 for at least 3 years now and not had any major problems (lucky me).  I decided to go for the new package (TV, Broadband (option 2), & calls package £18 per month - currently on offer) as I wanted to get Sky Sports through BTVision.  I'm not allowed Sky or cable TV where I live.  The activation date for Broadband option 2 was Monday 7th March and Monday 14th for BTVision.  This also included a new router i.e. HomeHub3.
On Sunday the 6th March my internet connection was fine i.e. could open web pages, get email etc (using a BT Voyager Router).  On Monday 7th I went on line and was unable to open web pages.  I thought it might be a minor problem i.e. back up in an hour.
On Tuesday the 8th March I still had the same problem (Voyger Router) but had also received my new router (BT Home Hub 3).  I decided to install the new hub thinking that would resolve the problem but it did not.  I then tried a wirless & cable (2 different cables) connection to my PC & XBox and still could get online even though I was "Connected".  I phoned the broadband help desk and was on the phone for at least an hour with no success.  The help desk agent said it could be a problem with my account and said he would ring me back on Wed at 8pm........guess what?  No phone call.  I then phoned up again (10pm) & went through all the usual tests.......again!  It still didn't work and I was told that it was probably a problem with my PC and they put me through to another department that should be able to help.  I was then asked what the problem was (no communication between department then!)  I had to go through the whole thing again and was then told that I would have to pay £10 a month (for at least 3 months) for them to do further checks.
Wednesday & Thursday evening I phoned the Broadband help line (same tests again - no notes on my previous calls!) and still no success. I didn't pay for the £10 month service (BT Home help) out of principle and do not know what to do next.

  • Running 10.9.2, out of the blue I can no longer minimize e-mails in Mac mail program.  I have to put the cursor on the upper edge of the screen to show the tool bar that allows me to scroll down to quit mail to get out the of the program.

Recently my mail program has changed itself and I can no longer see the red, yellow and green dots allowing me to close minimize and enlarge.  To get out of mail I have to put the cursor on the top edge of the toolbar expanding to another toolbar that will allow me to quit mail.  This is a real pain right where my mother never kissed me.  How do I get the dots back?

Move the mouse to the far upper right corner of the screen.  You should see a blue box with two arrows pointing inwards.  Click that blue icon.  Sounds like you put the Application into whats called Fullscreen Mode.

  • So I have a gen2 8gig iPod touch and just the other day updated to 4.3 and now my pod wont show up in iTunes. Is it not compatible? Does this mean I can no longer sync my iPod??

I can no longer sync my iPod as it does not show up in my iTunes anymore, is this because I upgraded my Itunes??

You should still be able to sync you iPod.  Your iPod just can be updated past iOS 4.2.1.
Assuming you have a PC, start her to get your computer to see the iPod.

  • Bt Home Hub (fibre optic) can it work with my Time Capsule & Airport Express?

I have just moved house after having no problems for years with my virgin cable I have now had to switch to Bt because cable is not available at my new address therefore I would like first and foremost to have my Time Capsule available to use as a hard drive, I am not too bothered about wi-fi as that comes from the bt hub, only thing is I am at a loss how the Time Capsule hard drive is not working. Also is there anyway the Bt Hub can connect/link to Time Capsule or even Airport Express.

Your TC can be used bridged to the BTHub.. and plugged in by Ethernet.
It is best to still use the TC wireless for the express to extend and you will find access easier.
Always best to start with a factory reset when you do this.. The TC remembers too much from its last configuration.

  • Swap out Home Hub 5 for Openreach Modem at install...

    Hi,
I'm scheduled to get Infinity installed to a new line in January and I'm not keen on using the supplied HH5 as I want to use my Time Capsule to control my network. Have there been any cases whereby the Engineer might be able to supply an Openreach modem on installation and not use the HH5? Or failing this I could do it myself after installation if I get a VDSL modem?
    Thanks in advance!

The Openreach engineer might install an Openreach modem but there is no guarantee because you have the HH5 which as you know has the modem integrated. You would need to ask and if he says no you'll have to accept that.
As far as I am aware there is nothing to stop you removing the HH5 and using your own modem. The only problem would be if you had any problems, BT would not offer any help or support, such as it is, because you are using non BT equipment.

  • Starting new project means i can no longer open and existing one?

Ok, so i'm working on a project over a few weeks, save it all up, give it new file names and everything. I then have to do a second project along side the first, so naturally i open a brand new project, give it a totally different name, and work as i wouls expect on the second project. However i then go to makes some changes to the first, and bang, final cut can't find the previous project file, and in trying to do so, jams my mac, meaning i have to reboot it before i can do anything else....
Is there something really obvious that i should be doing to avoid this, or is this just another massive blunder from apple, which seems to be common in the new final cut 'pro'

You can definitely work on more than one project with FCPX.
What do you mean that FCPX "can't find the previous project file"? When you go to the project view (command-zero) you should see all your projects listed, based on what hard drive they are on. Are you saying you no longer see one of the projects you worked on?

  • After installing the update to version 9 of Firefox, I can access some items on my toolbar. The log out button on my GMail can no longer be accessed, what's wrong.

None of the toolbar items, on the log out row, on my gmail account are active anymore. I also had this problem with my discover account, I couldn't use the log out button there either. When I called Discover, they told me their site was not yet updated for for version 9 of Firefox.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

  • IPad mini for Xmas.  Can't get it to recognise or connect to my home network. I'm using a BT Home Hub set up in Jan 2012.  Any suggestions?

Got an IPad mini for Xmas.  My home network runs off a BT Home Hub.  I can't get the iPad to recognise or connect to the wifi network despite a strong signal. The device recognises the presence of a BT Network but keeps asking lots of nonsene stuff - like IP address etc etc which it ought to be able to pick up automatically.  The BT Network was set up in Janiary 2012.  Any suggestions?

    hello again,
i didn't really dare to delete the blue home folders before, just in case everything went wrong, but now i think i have so little space that i can't afford to lose 2.25gb!
one thing that slightly worries me is the fact that the 'proper' library folder (in the home icon) is 2.09gb, whereas the 'wrong' one (from the blue folder forenamesurname) is 2.24gb - this is the one i would be deleting. just seems odd to delete a larger file than the one i presume i'm using.
"Move everything you want to keep out of the blue folders, and then place both of the folders on your desktop. If everything works properly after a few days, delete both folders. If you are asked for your administrator password at any point or if either folder is copied instead of moved when dragged, don't delete that folder."
by 'everything you want to keep', does this include the library folder? 'cause there doesn't seem to be much else, and i'm not sure if deleting the library folder would ruin all my preferences.
i've put both of the folders on the desktop, it didn't ask for the admin password or try to copy them, so i guess that's good news. what kind of things should i be looking out for to act differently?
are the folders not in use now that they are on the desktop?
also if i put them in the trash will they have no effect? i.e. the same as permanently deleting them, so i could put them in the trash as a test.
    cheers, stephen.

  • I have a BT home Hub 3 with standard BT broadband(no infinity), how do I set up an Apple AirPort Extreme without a stand alone modem? Can I use my current Home Hub

I want to use an Apple AirPort Extreme as my home router but at present I have standard BT broadband using the BT Home hub 3. Can I connect them in some way so I don't need to buy a stand alone modem.
    IS THIS POSSIBLE???
    1. Would Apple AirPort Express be better and easier?
    2. What modem would be suitable if I can't do it any other way?
I AM CURRENTLY USING MY INTERNET WITH PS3,WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP, IPAD AND IPHONE!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    John smith

You said that you wanted the layout to look like this:
AT&T 2WIRE Router (wireless off) ---> AirPort Extreme ---> NetGear 16-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch ---> ethernet cabling to ports in most rooms --->
So, we took that at face value....,.but it could look like this if things are more convenient this way, if you prefer:
AT&T 2WIRE  > Ethernet Switch > AirPort Extreme and other devices.
    - If we include an AirPort Extreme in the overall network setup, are there any potential issues with the 2WIRE router and the AirPort Extreme router "competing" with one another?
No, if you leave the wireless function off on the 2WIRE.  If you do want the utilize the wireless on the 2WIRE and the AirPort Extreme, then you want to keep them physically separated by 6-8 feet, or a few meters.
    - Do I really need an AirPort Extreme in the final setup?
No, if the AirPort Express will provide enough range for the network.
Or if I just want an extra WAP, can I operate two AirPort Express units (with the same SSID) downstream of a 2WIRE router?
Yes, if both of them are configured to operate in Bridge Mode.  If you are using the "wizard" setup utility in AirPort Utility 6.x, the wizard will do this for you automatically.
That is to say, could we have a setup that looks just like the image above, but with an extra AirPort Express tacked on to one of the unused ethernet ports?
You can have as many AirPort Express devices (or AirPort Extreme devices) as you want, as long as each has an Ethernet connection back to the switch.
