Flipshare videos posted on facebook stopped working.

A few months ago when I played one of these videos it worked. Since then when I click the play arrow the thumbnail dims briefly then the frame goes black. I have this condition on 2 pc's both running 64 bit Windows 7 and IE9 64 bit. Flash Player 11.3.300.257 is installed on both.
I've tried the 9 solutions (activex filtering disabled, etc.) in Flash Player Help with no improvement. So, now I'm on step 10, Report the issue on Flash Player Forum.

Why do some videos from some website stop working after seconds or minutes on a new iPad

I subscribe to some website posting videos. The videos will start as it should and then stop after, sometimes seconds, and sometimes minutes after the beginning.
The iPad is less than 3 weeks old. it is already the second. The first was a 16 GB this one is a 32 GB. no difference. This issue does not happen with only one website but other posted videos from other websites.

This and other answers helped me to understand better why I cannot view these videos and search for answers. I found that the videos posted by this website end in .cfm, and doing research cfm is Adobe and is not compatible with apple software ? why this is not resolved is surprising to me - Several other people experience the same issue as I (dating 2007-to 2013) I am not computer literate but I know how to find information on the web and know +or - how to use the programs. There seems to be nothing that will convert these videos into a format that the iPad could process and allow. should I buy quicktime for my windows device and transfer/sync it to the ipad (?)(3 weeks old I paid $900) will this work. I have tried to upgrade the firmware to my router but no luck there either; even following all the steps religiously. the unzip is not working? I get a file the upgrade button rejects.
if it is this cfm format that is doing that, then there is no reason to spend x$ into a new router : the issue will remain the same- is this statement correct ?

Sharing new post on Facebook,- not working correctly anymore

I use to be able to update my blog and then go to that entry and click on the " Share on Facebook" in my bookmark bar and it would automatically share it on facebook. A picture would come up and the title of the entry. But this is no longer working? I tried reseting the "share on Facebook" button, I've tried copying the link and inserting it in the "post a link" field and nothing works. It shares a long url and then when you click on it, it says:

I don't get it? Any help would be great!

Thanks for the pointers! I found that by adding facebook.com to the my cookies exception list, things started working again. I read somewhere else that the new Firefox does some conversions of URL's entered without www. into ones with that. Might something like that explain why facebook has always worked in the past but stopped working with the release of 14? Seems to be working fine now.

Printing to Video deteriorates and finally stops working

I've been experiencing problems with Print to Video & Edit to Tape over the past two weeks and now it has stopped working altogether. The Deck is a Panasonic DVCPro AJ-D455p. Log & Capture works fine. Edit to Tape was the first thing that stopped working. then Print to Video would send the audio but no video, then it wouldn't work at all so we were playing content directly from the timeline and recording manually. Now we can't even do this. I'm trying to identify if this is a hardware or software issue. (the deck plays fine to the monitor) Any ideas? (At first powering down the deck, restarting FCP seemed to help. no longer.) I've also checked and rechecked the A/V settings for output, refreshed the deck through FCP etc...nothing helps on the settings side of things.

A strange and bizzare series of events has left me baffled re: FCP. About a month ago communication with the Panasonic AJ-D455 began to deteriorate. I was not able to edit to tape, then could not print to vid, so was posting to tape playing off the timeline. Log and Capture worked fine. My external monitor would not mirror the desktop no matter what my AV settings were. Then Log & Capture stopped working. I've run FCP rescue, I've trashed preferences, I've checked the FireWire, I've checked the deck. I've reformated the entire computer, reinstalled FCP...still no luck.
Other random facts. After I trashed the preferences, the system worked normally for about 30 minutes. After I reinstalled FCP the system worked fine for 1/2 day.
Any suggestions on what to do, look for, next?
Also, the deck works flawlessly with another machine. The FW cable is also fine.
Not sure what to isolate next...

Facebook stopped working on Nokia Lumia 710

I cannot access or add my facebook account to my Nokia Lumia 710 windows phone. Earlier today the people app stopped updating notifications from facebook. When I looked at the account info it said the account "required attention" I tried to sync then re-enter my password. The phone then said it had trouble connecting to facebook. I deleted the account then tried to re-add it. When I tried to add it said "something went wrong"

You-tube videos embedded in Facebook do not play on my iPad 4. Yet they play fine on myhusband's iPad 2. What do I need to adjust to enable them to play?

I am using Safari to go on Facebook. Some videos open in a new tab and then work fine. But when videos attempt to load in the Facebook photo window, they never finish loading.

Post to facebook wont work

I have installed the new IOS 6.1 this morning and since installing I am unable to use the "post to facebook" on the drop down/quick access notifications menu. Is this a common issue? Any suggestions as to how to fix it as I use this quite a lot to cross post to FB and Twitter for my business.

yes, sorry. I generally use the FB app.... However, I cross post to multiple sites using If This Then That (www.ifttt.com). Sadly they no longer allow tweets to be shared through facebook, so when I share useful information to my service users I have to post them to FB and then IFTTT automatically posts to Twitter (and multiple other sites) too.I use the pully down screen for quick and simple posting to make my life easier so I'm not swapping and changing between apps. It was working fine right up until the point I updated the iOS this morning (i was actually using it right before the update).
Am I making any sense? Sorry just a bit flustered because my iPhone 5 works fine after the iOS update but my iPad doesn't.

Problems with Youtube videos posted through Facebook

On my iPad1, since installing iOS5, happens this:
when I'm on Facebook, accessed through Safari (I'm not accessing through Fbook app), I can see all messages and Youtube videos posted by my friends. Only problem is that the Youtube videos are now much larger and they cover comments made by my friends and also the chances to Comment, share etc etc that are usually found under videos or pictures posted. Obviously this did not happen with the previous iOS.
Any suggestions ??

nobody really can answer this question, have posted a lot of questions in a forum. did a full restore, no backups, to no avail. i hope apple will do something about this. i hate to see youtube thumbnails covering some texts in facebook. by the way, have you already had this fixed?

Embedded Vimeo videos in Captivate 8: Stop working after Border or Scrolling settings are changed

I am embedding Vimeo videos into Captivate 8 slides, using Insert > Web object > Embed. It usually works fine, but then if I change the Border or Scrolling settings, the published slide shows a 404 for (not found) error. I have confirmed that the Embed code does not change. The only workaround I have found is to recreate the Embed objects. Is there a way to stop this problem from happening?

MPEG videos (ONLY!) have stopped working!!!

Arrrgh, for some reason, sound no longer works on mpg videos. Also, the sound meters freeze. Even movie playback sometimes stops, but can be restarted by pausing and restarting.
MOV, AVI, even WMV (thx to flip4mac) continue to play just fine. Just not mpg!
Also, I no longer have sound when I go to youtube.com.
I've tried deleting prefs and reinstalling QT. Neither helped.
I noticed a few wks ago that Google video player caused some problems, but they went away after I deleted it! I can't remember the details though.
Any help gratefully accepted!

Well, my adoration of Google is shatterred! It was their stupid video player after all. I had never "installed" it per se, just run the app from the disc image. I loaded it up again, and as long as it was running, I could get sound from streaming Google video. As soon as I quit it, no more audio from the stream. Then I noticed there was an uninstall in the menus. Used it, and sure enough, now streaming works, AS WELL AS MPGs!!! What a screw-up.
I'd still be interested in an explanation, and a way to install G plyr without wrecking my system!

I can't tell you WHY this worked but I'll share just in case...
I had the same problem. No sound, the volume control buttons did nothing. The sound icon would appear but no bars indicating the sound level.
My phone was NOT on mute, but I flicked the mute button anyway.
I don't know why or how, but that made the sound come back and the volume control buttons start working again.
(Just before this, I realized all my texts were gone - they came back with a reset but still!)

Can't watch videos posted to Facebook or YouTube on new macbook pro

Have a question about video. All of the sudden, I can't open videos on my class site, Facebook, YouTube etc. All I get is a black screen and a spinning circle. I have a brand new macbook pro, less than 60-days old. I also I need to be able to upload my own video and share it online. I checked video status on my older macbook and I can view videos without a problem (so it's not my network.)
What is happening and why and how do I get it fixed?

LR3.3 Export to Facebook stopped working

I frequently load albums to Facebook using the plug-in. Tonight I got the following message:

The Publish to Facebook service is no longer available.
What's up with that? Does anyone know a work-around besides exporting to disk and uploading?

Where did you see this message? It looks like it was captured from a web browser. If so, it looks like FB has dissallowed remote publish, possibly from only your host, possibly temporarily.
Try re-authenticating. You might have to do the change default browser trick to force apps like Lr to use a different browser where you don't have an automatic login. Not sure why, but the auth method that does this sometimes gets confused. You can also remove Lr as an app from your privacy and security settings and force a top-to-bottom reauth of the remote app.
