Floating inactive photos behind photoshop window in CS6 for Mac

My inactive photos go behind the active CS6 Photoshop window on my Mac. This forces me to minimize Photoshop and then get the inactive photos and drag them back into Photoshop. This makes it awkward for layering photos. Any suggestions how to correct this?

Could try saving as tiff provided layers and transparency are chosen at the time of saving. But it's hard to give a definitive answer as it depends on the final usage. For example PSD's tend to work better in applications like In Design in comparison with tiff.

Tools Panel missing in Photoshop CS6 for Mac

I have been using Photoshop CS6 for Mac for about 6 mths. now. When I opened it yesterday to work on some photos, I noticed that my tools panel that is always located on the left side of my screen had disappeared. I have been unable to locate it anywhere. Also, the top of my photoshop page looks different. Any assistance that I could get would be greatly appreciated.

I bought last year Photoshop CS6, and up to now I used it on windows system. Now I chaged system to mac, and I would like to download product Adobe Photoshop CS6, for mac - but when I try, I get offer for creative cloud membership for one year insted of photoshop cs6.

Apple issued a new product iMac with Retina 5k display on 18 Oct, 2014 on market . This display has a high resolution of 5120*2880. I want to know:
Photoshop CS6 for Mac was designed for this display ?
Can Canon full size photo that is 5760*3840 show at this 5120*2880 screen ? If yes, That means more detail can be seen than any monitors used before.

Perpetual products which use serial numbers are platform specific. You will not be able to use the same serial on a windows machine.
In order to use Photoshop on both Windows and Mac you will have to go for a creative cloud subscription.

I Want to Buy Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac - NOT Creative Cloud

I just bought a new iMac and I would like to buy Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. I am NOT interested in the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud, so please don't even try and sell that to me. I was told by the place I bought my new iMac that Adobe would still sell me Photoshop CS6 if I contacted them. Since I was unable to find a phone number to call, I thought I would try my luck on this forum. Again, I was told that Adobe would send me a link or something like that where I can buy and download Photoshop CS6. Since my new iMac does NOT have a CD/DVD-ROM drive, I would only be able to download the software. I understand that the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud is the newest way of using Photoshop, but I am not interested in that at all. Photoshop gets the fonts from the OS.

Unless things have changed, there are separate S/N's for the PC and the Mac versions.
I would immediately contact Adobe Customer Support (not Technical Support), and explain the error. I feel that they will be able to help you with replacing the PC version.
