  • Z book 17 No picture on Adobe Premiere pro Cs6

    Hi
I have a new Z book 17 (with the NVIDIA 3100m) and  I am using Adobe Premiere Pro cs6 for video editing.
When option "Mercury playback engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" is on, there is black on Premiere's video windows
When i select the 2nd option "Mercury playback engine Software only" the picture reapears.
I think it is something with the Graphics card and the CUDA but i see others Z book users to work just fine with CUDA.
    Can you please help ?
    Thank you

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 Crashing very often! Please Help!

    Hello,
I am currently editing my first feature on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 and it is currently up to date.
I am editing on a iMac 27in, late 2013 brand new computer.
Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory 32GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096MB
    System: OSX Yosemite V 10.10.1
The project is located on a 8TB G Drive
    7200 RPM
    High Performance ThunderBolt drive.
    Details of the project:
I am currently working on a fine cut of 5K Red Footage that is being cut in the RAW.
I work at 1/2 quality settings and have no lag.
The timeline includes limited stacked video files and various mp3 audio files.
    The Problem:
Lately, the program will randomly quit or freeze up 4-5 times during an 5-6 hour edit session.
Many times it is random, however, it seems to happen often if I accidentally click on the end of a clip on the timeline and it goes to switch into trimming mode.
Also, it will randomly go into the "pinwheel of death" out of nowhere followed by "Adobe CC is not responding."
My project file is just about 15MB now.
What is causing this reoccurring problem?
How can I make it happen less?  I have scoured the forums and found similar articles but no helpful solutions.
I have recently turned auto save on to save every 2 minutes because there have been more than one occasion where I lost A LOT of work because of this issue.
I am about two weeks out from picture lock delivery and this issue is driving me crazy and loosing me a ton of time.
Please help or let me know if any more additional information can help solve the issue.
I have sent in well over 25 error reports already.
    Thanks,
    Thomas.

I think I may have found the solution...
I completely removed the Premiere Pro folder under User > Documents > Adobe and so far it seems to have solved the problem.
I of course backed up my projects and than deleted this folder. So far it seems it worked.
I'll know for sure in a day or two, but after constantly crashing, Premiere hasn't crashed for the last 4-5 hours of work.

  • Issues re-installing adobe premiere pro cs5.5 Family

    Hello All,
I Hope you guys can help me out on this, not sure this is the correct topic.
I've been working with Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 For a while now, allways ran perfect on my machine:
    Computer Specs
    IBM Lenovo Thinkpad T420
    Core I5
    8 Gigabyte RAM
    Windows 7 Professional
    Native resolution 1366 x 768
    Description
Last week, I wanted to install adobe After effects 5.5 and this is where it went wrong.. (I probably excidentally swtiched some folders and my Premiere Pro got corrupted when I wanted to start up the program). I tried to install it again, but keep getting the same error: See below.
These are the steps i've allready tried
I've tried the Adobe cleanup program adobe provides to clean up all the remaining files, and used Your un-installer to delete all the remaining keys in the registry etc.
I've also tried the same install package on an other computer which works perfect.
I've tried the Adobe CS 6 Pro 30-days trial and this is also working fine.
I've tried to install adobe after effects 5.5 but gives me the same error.
I've tried solution : http://forums.adobe.com/message/3659097#3659097 where the Microsoft_VC80_CRT_X86 was replaced by the X64
    This is the error I keep getting;
    Exit Code: 7
    -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
    - 0 fatal error(s), 66 error(s), 63 warning(s)
    ---- Payload: {92D58719-BBC1-4CC3-A08B-56C9E884CC2C} Microsoft_VC80_CRT_x86 1.0.0.0 ---
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1610 - The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel.

    Hi all,
I've got the combination of solutions working from what i've read on the forums and this is my solution which worked atleast for Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 Family:
Solution Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 Family:
    Browse to \Installation\Adobe CS5.5\payloads
1: Start with backing up your files which gave an error in the log: In my case, it first gave an error on the "Microsoft_VC80_CRT_X86" later when I fixed this .MSI package it also gave an error on the "Microsoft_VC90_CRT_X86" file. So I made a backup of the 2 folders which are indicated "RED" in the picture below.
2: Copy from the green directory, the files which are in the image below
    3. Paste the 2 files into the X86 folder as in the image below, delete the 2 files which are indicated red by the image below, and then adjust the new files to the same name as the files which were deleted:
4: You will probably have to do this twice for the different errors.
Extra step 5: I'm mentioning this step because im not sure if this helped, but I also uninstalled the MSI files to be sure there was nothing left behind of the old installer.
Hope this helps, I will try the same for After Effects and let you know if this also works.

  • Audio-Problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 by using long Clips in AVC-Intra Codec (4Gb Border)

    Hello
We own a Panasonic camera (AJ-PX5000G) and we film in 1080p50 with the AVC-Intra100 Codec. When importing longer clips in Premiere Pro, the video is fully loaded, but the waveform of the sound ends at the Time Code 00:02:28:35.
Sometimes the sound could be played after this Timecode but otherwise there is no audio. Even if we use the same clip several times we see that it works sometimes and sometimes not. It looks random.
We also tried to import the Clips with Adobe Prelude directly from the P2-Card but there are the same problems.
The Clips in 1080p50 AVC-Intra100 have a bitrate of 227Mbps. After 2 Minutes and 28 Seconds 4Gb are written on the P2-Card and the Camera starts a new picture file and 4 sound files..
It looks like Adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the correct relation of the files that all get together to one clip.
Is there anybody who can confirm this problem? Can anybody help me with this Premiere Problem?

  • Why does Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 quit upon playback of a sequence?

I have a new iMac 27" 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 with 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, running 10.8.5. I have a project using AVCHD files running at 59.94 fps, 1920x1080. The media is on a OWC Mercury Elite- AL Pro Qx2; it is at least 3 years old and it is connected to the iMac via a LaCie eSATA hub (with the eSATA cord). Also I have the Mercury Playback Engine GPR Acceleration (CUDA) enabled.
I can edit in a project for a while fine but then the playback starts getting weird and hanging up. The cursor jumps in the timeline and the picture freezes on a frame. Sometimes, the playback monitor screen turns a solid green. Sometimes I will then receive an error message saying "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project." I usually have to force quit at this point. I try opening a new project and bringing in the sequences again. It will work for some time, and then the same problem again.
Is there a problem with Premiere Pro or do I need a faster, newer media drive?
    Thanks.

I have a brand new Mac Pro (Late 2013) with a 3GHz 8-core Intel Xeon E5 with 64GB of DDR3 and an AMD FirePro D700.
I run my machine with the latests version of OS X Yosemite.
I keep every Adobe program up to date.
I've been working straight off my internal 1TB SSD.
Any ideas or information would be great.
    Thank you!
Are you running the following update? OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 Update
Is the SSD you are running your system on one you installed, or is it factory installed from Apple?
Are you testing with a brand new project file or one you updated from a previous version?
What happens to you precisely when this issue occurs? Are you working for 5-10 minutes, then the program freezes? Or do you get a warning dialog box?
Have you checked permissions for your Adobe folders (see my blog): Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later)
Have you tried trashing preferences (press Shift + Option while starting Premiere Pro)?
    Thanks,

  • Need Help Fast Re: Problems with capturing in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

I am working on a project with a deadline.  I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.  My camera is a Sony Digital Video Recorder DCR-HC26.  My computer is a Dell with OS of Windows Vista.  I have been capturing numerous clips from hundreds of mini digital video cassettes.  Yesterday, I attempted to capture from a Radio Shack Mini DV Metal Evaporated mini DV digital videocassette.  For whatever reason it will not capture.  I have never used one of these tapes before.  Could it be the tape?  After I click on "Capture," the screen shows NO PICTURE of sound, however, it plays on the camera.  It can't be the camera settings because all the other tapes work. . .  Any advice?

you need to post in the correct forum olivia.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 image on student machines

Hello! At the beginning of the 2008/2009 school year I installed Adobe Creative Suite 3: Master Collection on some of our school computers, a media lab. All the applications work great, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc. The one application we can't get to work for the life of us is Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. It works on my machine in my office, which is a standalone box, but for machines which have been sysprepped and imaged, it doesn't work the same. It will render videos fine if they're slideshows made from individual pictures and music. But as soon as you try to add video, Premiere either crashes, or bluescreens. Happens on any one of the 30 computers in the lab, and my computer in my office which it works perfectly on, is identical hardware. Exact same builds. Only difference is mine wasn't sysprepped and Ghosted, and I'm an Administrator.
The other interesting thing, is none of the machines will capture. Not a single one. They all show "Capture device offline", but when I plug the cameras into my machine, it picks up perfectly. So tell me, to install Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, do I need to install individually on every machine? Or is there something else I'm missing?
Also, the students are not local administrators. They're just "Domain Users" on a Windows XP machine part of a server 2003 domain.
Thanks! I look forward to your replies.

    Some troubleshooting tips.
    Cheers
    Eddie

  • Options for exporting a project in Adobe premiere Pro CS5.5

When Exporting a project from Adobe premiere Pro CS5.5 I use the format of Windows Media file and Preset HDTV 1080P 30 HighQuality. At the bottom of the window there are some options that say "Use Maximum Render Quality" And "Use Frame Blending". I used these two options on my first video I exported but I want to know for the future what both of these options do exactly to my film and if they could adversely effect things like lighting and the frame rate of a clip or anything?

Max Render Quality does what is says: gives better picture quality, but will lengthen the export process.
Frame Blending you check when output framerate differs from timeline framerate.

Not a reply, but a "me too".  Like Bjoern I use PPro CS3.  Mine is on WinXP with all updates.  I import PSD files as keying masks.  I've never had a problem until this evening (27 Aug 2014).  I tried to import a mask I've used many times before.  And it has always worked before.  Tonight PPro refused to recognize .psd as a supported file type, so it didn't show in the import folder file list.  When I told PPro to show "all files *.*", it showed the file.  When I selected it, PPro even showed the "import file" window, then displayed the "File Import Failure" window with Error Message:  File format not supported.  See the picture below.
This is a file I've imported into many previous projects with no problem whatever.  In fact, I started with a project file from last year which showed the mask file in the project assets but offline!  Even though the file had not been moved.
If PPro CS3 is as obsolete as Adobe claims it is, then who's been messing with it?  And how can we get it "unmessed"?

  • Color on exported video on Adobe Premiere Pro Is a bit off from the original source video

I have both Cyberlink powerdirector 10.0 and Adobe Premiere Pro C6
I noticed that adobe premere cs6. when exporting the video.. colors are a little off.. never matching the same tones as the original
    source
i took a screenshot  so you can see what i mean.. Notice Adobe is a a little mor orange. is there a way to fix this? Cyberlink powedirector always matches the source color when you export it. except Adobe Premiere Pro CS 6
i have windows 7 64 bit (Nvidia GeForce GTX 670M

Thanks for answering. I ddi notice different media players show colors different. But on the screenshot i just showed you.. all 3 are from the same media player.
For some reason everytime i export a video from Adobe premiere pro the color is never the same as the source on media player. I tried it on 4 different videos. Other software programs like cyberlink power director export the video with no color change.
1)The original source from the picture is a mpeg-4 (avc)
2)i always use wmv codec to encode all videos. So the shot from Premiere Pro was using WMV codec. and the other shot (cyberlink powerdirector) was also wmv to encde.
    3) I even tried to see if maybe i used a  different video format to encode it would fix the slight color change. like h264 and mov.. but nope still same issue
    4) I did what you told me to show the source and exported video on Adobe Premiere and really weird. the exporterd video from Adobe Premiere now shows the exact color as the source.. but the exported video from Cyberlinkpowerdirector shows the color a bit different.
    Heres the media codec information

  • I can't seem to be able to open Adobe Premiere Pro after downloading it and saying it's in use.

I've downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro trial twice to see if the second time would work since the first didn't seem to. When I downloaded it twice, it says I was downloading the Adobe Premiere Pro family package and after downloading it, it said that the program was ready for use. I went to my start menu and search the program and all I got was the adobe premiere pro cs6 files and the picture of the purple cd and the set up and etc. Can someone please help me?
PS: I had downloaded it from the adobe website not from adobe creative cloud.

It won't even let me uninstall it. it says that my uninstallation encountered errors and when i click on the error summary idk what it means
    Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW028, DW039 ...

  • Help me please! About Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

    Hello,
Everytime i encoding, there is the thing like advertising appear in the clip ( red part - Media Offline / Media hors ligne / Offline medien / Medios sin connecxion .... ). same in picture.
What should i do to make it disappear?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4
Can anyone help me how to fix this pleaseee?

The prime cause for Media Offline is that the link between the Project and the media has been broken. The Project file (the PRPROJ) is but an XML database, and it uses Absolute Paths to link to the actual Asset files. If one was to Rename, Move, Delete an Asset file, PrPro no longer has a link to it. This can happen with external, or Mapped drives, if they are no longer available, or their Drive Letters have changed. This article goes into more detail on some of those causes: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3561281#3561281
Now, the Asset files have NOT been Renamed, Moved, Deleted and their Absolute Path has not changed in any way, there is something else going on, to cause the link to not be recognized.
Good luck, and please let us know a bit more about those Asset files, their location, and then all about the location.
