Scratchy itunes player on my laptop

I have tried reloading itunes and it is still scratchy through my pc.

Just bought a brand new Mac Pro and have researched this issue extensively. I have the exact same issue. I'm not convinced it's just an iTunes thing... but the people with iTunes are the ones with the complaints.
What I am pretty sure is happening is the imperfections are being copied when songs are imported. This seems to be especially true of older music with a lower original quality.
My situation- I have some newer music that came from very recent mp3 files. I converted them to AAC. They play perfect.
Everything that I've imported direct from CD has a certain noise that sounds very digitial. It's in the higher frequencies- cymbals, female voices, guitar leads.
The worst came very recently when I copied a song from Youtube. After converting it and getting it into iTunes, the noise was the worst I've heard it.
So, I went back and listened to the song, nice and loud, direct from Youtube.
The higher frequency noise was almost *NOT COMPLETELY* gone. I could still hear it. I could also tell the original song quality wasn't up to par with what the norm of today is.
I went back and replayed the song as I have it in iTunes.... I heard all the distortions and noises I heard in the Youtube version... only amplified a bit.
My current conclusion is that iTunes does a great job of copying/importing songs, right down to the point of catching every little imperfection.
So, unless you have a perfect-condition original digital file with a really decent to excellent quality, you're going to get noise when you bring it into iTunes.
I would need to run a few more experiments and research other digital music player programs on how they compare to iTunes to confirm my diagnosis.
The problem is, when songs of lesser quality, come into iTunes, they get a little choppy/ scratchy sounding.
Think of a wave vs a mountain. The mountain has rocks and sharp edges. Those sharp edges show up as scratch sounds. That's your older, or lesser quality, music files. It's not just bits anymore... it has to do with frequency sampling rates.
The waves are smooth... no chops or edges. Those are your newer songs direct from iTunes or other online source.
The REAL, long-term, solution, if I am correct, would be to have someone create a program that would digitally smooth out song files. None exist to date. Someone could probably make a nice profit if they figured this out.
...and the reason I believe I am correct would correspond with how people in the past have reverted to a previous version of iTunes, or another audio player, and the noise seems to be gone.
With digital technology, it's all about how fine you can make the sand... and then try to make it flow like water.
The trouble lies in trying to make that old mountain flow like sand, or water. All iTunes knows is how to copy. So, the mountain is still going to be a mountain with all its rocky, sharp edges, even though it might now be copied or sampled at a rate that would allow it to flow like very fine sand or even water.
A temporary fix would be to quit using the latest technology.
I'm stubborn, so I've decided I'll put up with the noise (which isn't on every song but is consistent within each album) until a real fix comes along, or I prove myself wrong and can provide the correct solution for whatever the problem really is.
Wish I had better news, but from this point, it seems as if this scrathy-sound problem is going to resurface every so often with updates. Unless you get a fresh, updated, original copy of your music to bring into iTunes after an upgrade/ update comes down, you'll be stuck waiting for a future upgrade that addresses the issue.
That is to say, the other solution is to keep complaining to Apple, and in a future upgrade, they'll change the software somehow that appears to get rid of the scratchy sounds, or actually does smooth out the digital sharp edges that cause noise.
That seems to be what happened with version 10.5 ... but I have 10.6.1, which has me going... why is it happening again?
Oh yes, and just to be sure... I've run through everything else (about 10 different things). It's nothing to due with the processor you have, the equalizer, or any setting in iTunes. I've only seen one other post in some odd forum where someone explained that there might be imperfections upon import.... which is what lead me to listen to the one track I copied from Youtube from both sources, and as mentioned, it's not as obvious, but the imperfections are there in the original as it plays on Youtube.

DOing same function as Runtime short cut menus example except with menu ring...

Newbie here: I am attempting to create a slide out menu much like the one in the Runtime short cut menu example (in example finder) except with a menu ring instead of the list box that is used in the example. I have a menu ring with 8 values in it and on 3 of the option I would like a secondary menu that slides out to the side that displays another sub-menu. Can this be done easily/efficiently? I am looking at other alternatives but this option would be the best for my application from a user stand point. Any help and examples would be appreciated.

What is being shown in that example is how you can modify or create your own runtime menus (aka popup menus or right-click menus) for a given control. Basically you customize the menu and then use event cases to handle what to do for the menu selections.
Now a menu-ring control is a different beast entirely, BUT it looks almost exactly the same, so I see why the two could be confused. As far as I know, there's no support in a menu ring for multiple menu levels.
Often times I find that effective labview GUI design (and well, design in general) works best with a compromise of what you imagine for what you can do easily and simply. Flow like water: find a native control behavior that's *good enough*.
But! here's a hack that might get what you want. It sounds like you want the multi-levelness of a right-click menu but without having to right-click? Use a "mousedown?" filtering event to replace left-clicking with right-clicks! Now when the user left-clicks, labview will tell the OS that they right-clicked.

i have a msi 7970 and soon as i start it it overheats i'm running a waterblock on it but soon as i hit start it overheats and crashes can someone help me or point me in the right direction thank you

ok one of 3 things could be wrong here in general!
1: you may have a bad contact between the GPU and block check that it is making contact with the block on the GPU by removing the water block and see if the TIM is on both GPU and block is spread across them!
2: maybe you used too much or too little TIM on the GPU (reapply it to the GPU and retest)
3: maybe you have overtightened the fittings and stopped the flow of water through them or your fittings are too long and are blocking the water from entering the block!

I'm supposed to create a GUI for a level and flow sensor. I've distinguished that I need to control the flow of water (input) by manipulating the speed of the control valve (input). The results should show the level (output) of water in a tank by varying the flow of wate. I need to present the results in graphs and numerical numbers.
Can anyone kindly give me some pointers on how to create this particular GUI?

First of all, I have to apologize for the rather short and confusing title. I should've written a longer and proper title. My bad.
OK, here's my problem:
I've already created a GUI to control my hardware valve opening (analog output), flow and level control (analog input) using DAQ assistant, arrays and the results in waveform graphs and meter. But, all these can only be controlled manually. It's working perfectly.
The problem is that I want to control all the above automatically - with the experiment running with a pre-fixed set point on the hardware. The hardware is a RT 210 process control rig from GUNT.
I roughly know that I need to use the function of stacked sequence structure, case structure and local variable for the auto control. The result should be in graphs and data (using format string). But, I don't know the specifics on how to program this GUI.
Any comments or guidance will be deeply appreciated.

After Effects, but be ready for a steep learning curve. Third party plug-ins may be required if you want realistic flow. Schematic diagrams are fairly easy to create with After Effects. I do it all the time.

Water flow effect in existing photo?

I have an existing photo/animation of a river, rendered in Lightwave that I would like to simulate the water moving.
I also have an alligator entering from the right. I'm sure I can mask that to appear over the existing effect.
How can I select the water area only and add an effect that makes the water appear to be moving, waving, etc.?
It doesn't have to flow, I just want some motion to appear, and unfortunately the sequence is already rendered, so
this is one of those 'do it in post' moments.
UPDATE: I tried to mask the water and precompose the mask layer, then added a turbulence displacement. It looks
ok, but I still think I can get a better look. I'm also trying to get a small splash when the alligator hits the water.

Thanks, Szalam. I setup the scene again with different displacement settings in Lightwave and used some hypervoxels to simulate a splash. It worked better, but I would have rather done the process in AE because of the long render times (almost 12 hours for 375 frames). Maybe I'll play around with a displacement layer, add a null and move it in 3d. Haven't tried that yet.

Simulate water flow in a pipeline

Hello everbody,I have been trying to find a proper solution to simulate water flow or movement in a pipe/tube but I could not find the right things. Imagin the pipes going not only one way but up then to the right and down and so on. I would need to be able to control the flow in the sense that it schould only flow if a pump is running and I need to find a solution wich I can youse with many different pipe-structures.
Hopefully somebody can help.

Hi montanaro,
You could place a transparent 2D picture indicator over your pipes and indicate the flow by changing what is "drawn" on the picture.
For example, you might draw a series of dashes and arrows to indicate the flow path.
To show motion, you would create a loop to replace dashes with arrows and vise versa.
This method could be adapted to any structure.
Please note that this task is not trivial - but with some effort it could be pretty cool.

My water bottle spilled on my ipod touch 2gen 8gb and when i saw it i shut it down and i ran home and dried it off. i put it in a bag of rice for a night and i saw no progress. now the screen is black and there is no response. im scared because i have 1567 songs in there last time i synced it on itunes which was the night before
i dont mind as much if the ipod is completely dead because its old and i can get the new one
but im scared for my songs. is there a way i can get it back. im scared to plug it back in because im scared of shorting a circuit or something ir making the situation worse
i dont know what to do and its in rice at the moment and im scared to plug it into my computer

Its ewasy to remove any doubt. Go to your computer and launch iTunes. At the of the left frame you should see the word Music. Click on Music. You will see your music either as a list, or as a list with the album art (cover flow). If you do not see any songs, then you're done.

Need help for the message flow in sap xi system?

Hello All,
My requirement is some wat different............in the existing production system the message flow is 3500 per hour......... now we want to develop new scenario and the message flow will be 8500 message per hour.
Client is not giving me the system details ...like network details and i need to say that can we send 8500 messages in the existing system with out changing the process speed or data base.
also please advice the best ways to increase the performance in the sap xi system when the message flow is huge.

Water Spill on Keyboard Space Bar Not Working

Greetings,
One of my employees recently spilled a cup of water on their keyboard. I unplugged the keyboard, shook the water out of it and it seemed to work fine. A few days later, I was informed that the "space key" was no longer working.
Is there anything I should try to repair it? I am used to being "hands on" with repairs to our systems (we have about 30 Mac's on site). But, I wasn't sure if spills are considered irreversible damage to keyboards, etc. Any suggestions?

Don't use the dish washer trick with an eMac keyboard (the Mac keyboard with the nice crumb and liquid catching clear under-tray). I recently had a spill on my keyboard and decided to take apart the keyboard to investigate why some of my old keyboard cleaning tricks were not working. On disassembly I discovered these keyboards are not like the keyboards of yester-year.
Old keyboards were simply a rigid printed circuit board (PCB) and then the keys over it that pressed down and shorted traces on the PCB to make a key stroke. hen those got dirty you could very easily literally wash them, let them dry and continue to use.
These newer Mac keyboards do not use the same method. Now they have a few layers of thin flexible plastic sheets with traces imprinted in them. Several of these are sandwiched together. The keys above press down and make contact and also press the layers of contacts together.
The problem with the new method is once you get liquid in there, the liquid seeps between the thin plastic layers and simply sits forever with no air flow to dry out the liquid. So once you get liquid in there, it will either never dry out or take a very long time (months minimum) to dry out.
Once you get liquid in there, about the only solution is to pull the keyboard apart and separate all the layers and let them air dry or wipe them down. It is a PITA since each key has a little rubber dome that goes over each spot and they are not attached to the keys, so you have to put the layers back together, then put each of those 100+ rubbers in place then attach the backing rigid piece without moving any of the rubbers. It takes a fair amount of time.
My keyboard still doesn't work 100%, so I will buy a new one one of these days. Next time, I won't even bother with trying to clean it. I will just spend the $29.95 and get a new one.

classes in package com.sap.mbs.mam.bo (Mam001) represent DB access layer.
They are generated by a special tool, called BOGenerator, from a file meRepMeta.xml which is exported from SynBo created on the middleware.
There are two types of classes:
- Mam001 -> provides get/set methods in a table (in this case order header)
- Mam001Manager -> provides insert/update/delete methods for all tables in Order SyncBo.
So if for your custom enhancement you need to map a field which is not mapped in a standard SyncBo, to access this field in the front-end you have two options, either regenerated these classes and a new get/set will be created, or access it via general method getField(String fieldName).
You will see that classes in this package are commonly extended in a standard MAM itself. Most commonly it is done when getField method has to be overwritten to return something which is not in the DB, for example icon.
