Hi,
is this the 1st time you're posting this UT? If so, have you checked the "Indicate Update Types as posting relevant" customizing? If not, have you implemented SNotes recently? If so, check the OSS and in case there is no corresponding SNote to solve the problem -> create a OSS-message.

You're ignoring context. On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers. Did your KB2952664 Windows Update fail to install? Any errors?

In addition, go to Windows update then click on View update history then click on Installed updates,
search for the failed kb number and double click on it and it will prompt to uninstall. Uninstall then

Is there a way to connect an old Sunflower iMac (OSX 10.4.11) to a new Time Capsule? It used to work with old Airport Extreme with updates thru Snow Leopard but now seems to only allow WEP encryption instead of WPA.

Is there a way to connect an old Sunflower iMac (OSX 10.4.11) to a new Time Capsule? It used to work with old Airport Extreme network, run from a intel iMac with updates thru Mavericks but now seems to only allow WEP encryption instead of WPA and can't connect to Time Capsule. Airport Extreme Base was controllable from either computer up through Snow Leopard (I didn't do any of the Lion upgrades). Then when I upgraded to Mavericks I lost the ability to use Airport Utility with this hardware on the Sunflower but could still connect wirelessly to network without any problems. But now with the Time Capsule upgrade the Sunflower is blocked from network by a dialogue that requests ony WEP password, not WPA pwd used by Time Capsule. Neither can I use the old airport extreme base to extend the time capsule network since I can't input the correct password/encryption approach to join it. Is there a work around? Would a newer but old Airport Express be able to extend network to Sunflower? Or maybe a third party wireless (such as Netgear, Dlink, etc) that has browser type control rather than special utility?
Another question--before I used MAC addresses to control who could access network. Now on Time Capsule I don't see anything about this--so is it true now that the only access control is via WPA2 pwd now (which appears to be the encryption pwd and not the time capsule pwd)?

I can’t claim to completely grasp the issue(s) you’re describing, but the underlying problem is presumably your iMac’s obsolete AirPort card. Whatever the case, an obvious (if not particularly helpful) answer to your stated question would be to connect your iMac with an ethernet cable, using powerline adapters as an alternative if you don’t want to have wire running all over the place.
My still fully functional clamshell iBook, with an original AirPort card, connects wirelessly to my 4th Generation TC network by means of a cheap 802.11b/g/n USB Wi-Fi adapter. This might be an option for you too.

When you edit your TC's settings the access controls appear under the Network tab, don't they?

Is any one else have issues with interactive PDF output from InDesign CC (2014)

I am currently trying to produce a document with a level of interactivity I have achieved many times before.
The interactivity is just a web style menu, show/hide the menu shows button set one, clicking on those shows a second set of buttons, and clicking in one of those goes to destination page and hides all menu buttons once more.
When output from ID CC 2014 the result is loads of missing buttons and no working menu.
Its not a corrupt ID file. I tried a brand new empty file, recreated basic structure with simple one state buttons and achieved similarly useless results.
If I back save using IDML and open in CS5, export from there, it works beautifully, so problem is not as many have been recently, to do with Acrobat browsers.
If I back save and open in InDesign CC (not 2014), export from there, it doesn't work, so problem is shared there!
Anybody any suggestions? Experienced similar and found a cure?
SOLVED BY A COLLEAGUE:
You can (no longer) use full stops/decimal points in button naming. Menu was hierarchically labelled as 1, (1.1, 1.2), (1.1.1, 1.1.2) etc.
Renamed 1_1, 1_1_2 etc and all functionality has returned. Why you could and now you can't, who knows!

Problem with updating Passport details from ESS portal

HI Experts,
Some of my employees were unable to input passport details from ESS portal -own data.
Employee who belong to south korea are getting the problem.
Even though we fill every field,system is showing an error that "" Fill in all required entry fields ""
In spro...we maintained country grouping as 41 and IT 0185 and subtype and we use rthe case B2 in speciy use case and activity subtypes.
Another thing,when we update data in 0185IT by R/3 by backend it is not showing up the details in ESS.
Could you please give me an idea to resolve the problem.

No details were maintained in the table V_T588MFPROPC for this infotype.
Employee with other country grouping were able to up-date passport details in portal.
Where as south korea employees are not able to update the passport details.
For south korea employees..they have to update passport details with sutype 01 in ESS portal.
Even though we fill all the details it is showing fill in all required entries.
In table V_T588MFPROPS..no details were maintained for version 41.
In portal we have to maintain..ICNUM,ICOLD,AUTH1,FPDAT,EXPID,ISSPL,ISCOT,IDCOT.
In r/3(by backend) we can maintain all these details including ID TYPE(ictyp).We have only one subtype(passport) in 0185 for this south korea.What details shall we need to maintain for version 41.
Please let me know,why system is showing error even we maintain all the details.

Transfer posting of subcontracting stock with mvt type 541 from project stk

we run project MRP and the requirement is raised for subcontracting item also ,after converting the PR into PO when I try to transfer post material in MB1B using 541 ,system shows Error Purchase order does not contain any item even I have material in my project stock,what may be the reason?

Hello Kantha,
The components which you provide for a vendor are manged in a vendor-related special stock, O. This stock is updated at plant level, becuase material is actually not in your plant. If you want to provide stock to vendor the avialble stock types in subcontracting are from un restricted use and in quality inspection.
When you provide componets to vendor via transfer posting this needs to go from only unrestricted use stock to the stock of material provide to vendor movement type is 541.
So to execute the transfer posting for the stock of material provided to the vendor, you have to specify special indicator O, if not the transfer posting will not differ from normal transfer posting.
Also T-code MBLB will help you in evaluating the stock of material provided. So you need to transfer the stock from project stock to unrestricted stock to carry out the transfer.

We are having a scenario where we are creating Service Orders in CRM, which in turn creates a meterial reservation document in ECC for the spare part items. However, the material reservation number is not getting updated in the document flow of the service order in CRM. We are using CRM7.0. Any suggestions anyone?

I have a af:table which gets its data from a Managed Bean List type varaiable.
My table hav one lov as a row item.
When i change the lov in each row... a new row should get added to the table.
So in the value change listener of the selectOneChoice i added one element to the list.
Enabled PPR on table.
But table is not getting refreshed until i click on some button or link.

The highest Operating System you can have on your PowerMac is 10.5 and it is not available for download. It must be purchased secondhand such as from ebay or the like . It is no longer available from Apple.
There is a problem however and that was originally it sold for a high price (I think it was about $120) and so still continues to be rather pricey. In comparison the OS after that, being 10.6 was sold for $30 and is available now for only $20, but 10.6 would not install on your PowerMac because it is not an Intel based mac.
I'm not sure how much benefit you would get from installing 10.5 compared with staying with what you have. You may be better of buying a secondhand but more modern, Intel Mac and purchase 10.6 Snow Leopard to run on it.

This gives invalid column type exception.

Normally it requires driver specific code.
If it was me I would wrap it in another proc and use a cursor (or whatever it takes) to traverse the result so it returns a normal result set to java.

Help with installing student version of DW CC 2014 (Was: Help)

I just buy the “ Student and Teacher package” for my Dreaweaver CC 2014 because I want to have a full version. But I can not find any serial number. After reading a note from Adobe (see attached picture, please) I uninstalled my trial version and try to download the new one. However, I can not download Dreamweaver CC again. I aways get the same message “the software is downloading” (see attached picture, please). Now I don’t know what to do and who I should ask, how to complain.

Hi Thang,
I can't see your screenshots. But I think you are using your trial ID only that's why it is asking for license. On the Sign in required screen, you must be seeing an adobe ID but that will be your trial ID.
Click on 'Not Your adobe ID'. Next you will see Sign in screen , here you need to enter the subscription ID credentials.

HT6154 iOS 7 and iPhone 4S - I lost my WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities last September with the new OS, and I THOUGHT it was actually fixed this morning with the latest release - my WiFi AND Bluetooth actually worked....for about 5 minutes, but no longer

I thought this latest OS release had fixed my WiFi and Bluetooth problem, but I was excited for only a minute! I actually was able to connect to my WiFi at home and paired my Bluetooth to my car - but after a few minutes, the Bluetooth automatically turned off and the WiFi no longer worked. Is there a FIX to this??? I know it's the OS that disabled them and I'm not paying $500 for a new phone when my upgrade is not availbe for another six months!!!!

My iPhone 4S did once again did lose it's wifi connection after running perfectly for about 8 weeks.
I was streaming Pandora Radio via bluetooth connection at the time, ( not sure if that has anything to do with why the wifi dropped out again, but I thought I'd mention it anyway)
But!.... I was able to get everything up and running perfectly again by simply grabing my girlfriend's hair dyer heated it up again for about 5 - 7 minutes ( the over heated message even appeared this time) then powered it off, warped it in a plastic bag, stuck it back in the freezer for 15 minutes, took it out of the freezer, powered it back on, and Abracadabra it works perfectly again!!!
Phone has been running perfectly AGAIN for about a week now.
One strange thing this time after fixing it for a second time is that the the little WiFi symbol no longer shows at the top of the screen, but the wifi connection and everything IS RUNNING PERFECTLY!
If all I've got to do once in a while, is spend about 20 minutes with a hairdryer and a freezer to keep my iPhone 4S running perfectly.....well I'm as happy as a pig in s*** :-)
And please no comments about how I have now voided my apple support etc. I never had any to begin with (it's a 2nd hand phone and I really couldn't care less about warranty issues etc etc etc..... The phone works, and that's all that matters to me!
