FLV Conversion Process

Here's the "non-issue" first. We shot video with green screen, keyed out the green. Than my objective was to make a quicktime file from Final Cut Pro with the alpha channel, and then using flash encoder 8, turn it into an FLV file, with the alpha channel still present. This all worked perfectly, I exported it with quicktime conversion, animation codec, million+. And in FE8 i chose high quality, and the alpha channel button. The problem that we're having, is within the settings of the flash encoder 8, there is a video window on the top right, it allows you to scroll through and see your movie, only problem is that when we scroll through, nothing happens, it just stays on the first frame of the movie. We need to be able to scroll through and see the movie progressing. If there is anyone that can help me, please, i can not figure our any other export options to resolve this problem.

You might try the adobe forums (there is probably even one for flash).

  • Is auto flv conversion available

Can I use Acrobat XI to convert an HTML page that contains a flash (.flv) movie to PDF and have it automatically include the flash movie, or must that be added after the initial conversion?

Using Dreamweaver CS6 to make a minimal HTML page with one line of text and a .flv movie. The movie was embedded in the page using the automatic functionality of Dreamweaver. Then used Acrobat Pro XI to convert the HTML page to PDF with "Embed multimedia content when possible" selected. The .flv file does not get placed in the PDF page; there is nothing present where it should be.
I conclude that "when possible" does not apply in this case, unless there are settings needed on the html page that are missing (although the page works fine on a browser), or additional settings needed in the conversion process. Perhaps something other than .flv coded movie is needed?

  • Is there a way to stop and then resume an ipod video conversion process?

I am trying to convert videos to play on my new iPod Classic. The conversion process is painfully slow. I need to move the computer. Is there a way to stop the conversion process and then resume it later where you left off? The only way I have been able to figure it out is to put the laptop to sleep and then open it up later to resume. This is a problem too as I have an external USB drive hanging off the side. Any ideas?
Thanks all in advance for your help.

AFAIk you can just uninstall Thunderbird and reinstall. The profile will not be deleted. If you want to make sure, however, make a backup of your profile folder first.
Read up on "backup", e.g. here : http://email.about.com/od/mozillathunderbirdtips/qt/et_backup_prof.htm
(google is your friend :9 )
P.S. _ Matter of fact you should regularly backup your data (e.g. your thunderbirdprofile) to some place different so as not to loose it all, if a thunderbird-bug/virus/windows-failure/Layer8-Problem corrupts your data.

  • FLV Conversion in Adobe Media Converter substandard

I have just purchased the entire CS4 suite and have noticed some severe limitations to
the so called "media conversion" software that comes with the suite.
I have a 2400x600 mov file that needs to be converted to FLV for a Flash presentation.
However, this piece of software has a maximum resolution of 1920x600 in this
    situation.
As this is 2009, this is totally unacceptable, and even when upgrading to the latest
updated the flv conversions are still limited to 1920x600.
(Interestingly enough Flash Mx2004 can do a 2400x600 transconvert)

Please tell us more about the source content. Are they from your own project? Did you rip them from a DVD?
Are you importing the DVD videos directly into AME, or are they in Premiere sequences that you're exporting to AME? If the former, have you tried opening the clips in PPRO to see whether that app sees their full length? If the latter, do you have a work area defined?
Also, what version of AME do you have, and are you working on Windows or Mac?

  • Conversion process(job work - MTO) delivery issue

    Hi All,
We are unable to create delivery for a conversion process sales order(Job work - MTO) for which stocks are reserved from 5th nov 2011. The sale order is created on 5th nov 2011.
We are getting the following error message: Message no. VL455 "The sales order you want to deliver, sales order 1101200011 with order type ZO03, either contains no delivery-relevant items or its delivery-relevant items have already been delivered."
For the same sale order we are able to do the delivery from 23rd nov 2011 onwards.
But we are not able to create deliver for the materials between 5th to 23rd.
Please could any one suggest a solution for the above issue.

    Hie,
This is because the schedule line in the sales order has confirmed the date for delivery as 23rd novemner. If the material is available (it should be reserved for that sales order since it is MTO) at 3rd novbr then re-run the availability check in the sales order. This will confirm the date for delivery as 3rd novbr.

  • How can I restart the conversion process?

When I installed I-tunes the program started converting my WMA files to the AAC format. I let it run all day but at the end of the day I had to shut down the computer, so I stopped the process figuring it would restart when I restarted the program the next day. It does not do that. The only way I can find to do the conversion is one album at a time. Is there a way to restart the automatic conversion process?
    Compaq Presario v5000   Windows XP

I don't know of an automated way to do it, but it is easy enough to do it yourself in one large batch. Note I use a Mac version of iTunes and still use iTunes6, but the following should be more or less the same anyway.
Right click the headings in your library and you will get a pop up of all the different headings. Turn on "Type" by checking it. Type is a column showing the encoding method (e.g. AAC, MP3, AIFF, WAV, etc.). Now you can click on this heading to sort your library by encoded Type. So now all the WAV files should be grouped together. You can now easily select the entire batch of WAV files, right click, and pick "Convert to xxx" where xxx is the encoder type you currently have set in your preferences for importing files. So if it is not in the format you want, go to preferences and change it. Once you pick the Convert function it will convert all the selected files to the new format.
Note that converting makes a copy leaving the original in place. So the other advantage of having the ability to sort and select a large number of files by Type is that you can also select all the WAV files to delete in one step after you have converted them all.

  • Oracle conversion process

We are moving from Access to Oracle. I am new at this. How does the conversion process work?

Oracle has its migration tool. You could go to their Migration Workbench discuss group to get more help. I am trying to migrate from MS SQL Server to Oracle too. :-)

  • Mpg to flv conversion

Best method for .mpg to .flv conversion? I have the Master
    Collection CS3,
but I still have to download an flv converter tool???

    txwebdesigner2,

You have that option, if you want more than the default
    choices
supported by Flash CS3 -- but no, you don't have to download
    an FLV
converter. To convert your MPG to FLV, you can either use the
    Flash CS3
Video Encoder (ships with Flash) or Flash CS3 itself. Just
    import the MPG
file and run through the various configurations to output an
    FLV file.
Flash CS3 gives you single-pass encoding, which might meet
    your needs
just fine. If you want two-pass encoding, you'll have to look
    into a 3rd
party tool, such as On2's Flix Pro or Sorenson's Squeeze.
    (They also give
you additional parameters to tweak, because they're
    specifically video
    conversion apps.)

  • A failure occurred in the document conversion process

A failure occurred in the document conversion process. The document cannot be viewed at this time.
No matter what I can not view attachments. jpg will render, but it seems like nothing else will be.
I do not see Document Viewer Agent (DVA) as a service in GW 2012 (OES2 SLES10)
    Seb

I am having the same issue, but only with wav files.
I can click on the <filename>.wav link and open the attachment fine in a selected program, but if I select the "Play" link, the window switches back to the login page with "[962D] A failure occurred in the document conversion process. The document cannot be viewed at this time" displayed underneath.
Any ideas what this could be?

  • Conversion process of bidder to supplier in SRM 7.0 through portal?

    Hi,
Problem: When the bidder is converted to supplier through the portal (working with SRM 7.0), the details are passed to BW. But, when I try to view the same bidder (i.e., the same business partner as bidder) in the bidder list, it could not be found. The object is being converted and is not leaving any trace. I need access those details of business partner (as bidder). For this, I need to track the process of conversion of a bidder to supplier (to look for enhancements).
please let me know how to debug (web dynpro components) and where to look for exactly to track the critical stages of conversion, if any of you have experienced a similar scenario.
    Thanks in advance!!!!

  • Conversion Process as a whole....

    Hi,
I am going to join a team where I will be a member of Conversion team primarily responsible to work on LSMW. I would like to kind of get an overall idea of the team members a migration team will consist.
It would be great if someone could answer my following question..
    1) What is the job of data staging and data cleansing team in the convestion?
    2) Who is responsible to convert the legacy data in correct SAP format in the conversion team ? Can we achieve this conversion in SAP format using LSMW ?
    3) What are the tools required to do the above tasks ?
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

I can give you my experiences as I was the one responsible for doing such conversions when first implemented SAP at my company.
<i>1) What is the job of data staging and data cleansing team in the convestion?</i>
Data Cleaning is the process of looking at your data and making sure that it is correct.  We always had a saying here,  "Bad In/Bad Out", meaning that if you put bad data into your system, then you will get bad data back out.  This will hurt the project over time.
<i>2) Who is responsible to convert the legacy data in correct SAP format in the conversion team ? Can we achieve this conversion in SAP format using LSMW ?</i>
I guess it really depends on the team, but in my case, I was responsible for extracting the legacy data out of the system using programs to write the data to flat files.  It was also my responsibility to write conversion programs, if needed, to convert the data.   Also  I had to develop the LSMW to upload the data.  If the conversions were not too complex, then I simply used the conversion routine in LSWM to convert the data to SAP data.
<i>3) What are the tools required to do the above tasks ?</i>
Well, first LSMW.   In my case,  knowledge of the source system's programming language enabled me to write programs to extract the data.
I hope this helps a little.

  • Conversion Process

I want to convert a .txt file to a .xml file. Content conversion, scenario, etc... has already been set up and compiled. Basically input file and output file are in the same directory.
After compiling everything, i copied the input file over, but I couldn't see anything in SXMB_MONI or any queue. No output file is produced.
Is there any way to check whether the process is terminated somewhere?

    Hi,
Try to check whether all the objects related with senario is activated or not ........
If not activate all the objects in Integration Directory-----Configuration..........

  • No progress for files in conversion processing

Uploaded a pdf to convert to doc. While it was showing the progress bar animation, I clicked over to the files tab and then back again to the tools tab. There's no longer a progress bar animation on the tools page and no indication that a conversion is processing in background or anywhere else. My conversion just vaporized. Even the most basic software will warn the user they are about to perform a destructive action. This is nowhere in the realm of reality that I would expect from Adobe.

    Hi Jory,
Would you mind letting me know which version of Acrobat you are currently using? I do see that you currently are not subscribed to any of our acrobat.com services.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

  • How do yuo start the conversion process?

How do you start the process of conversion?

    Hi,
Please check the article mentioned below, it helps you in getting started with ExportPDF

  • Export PDF conversion process

Where does the conversion take place for Export PDF?  PC or website?  If website are document copies cleanly removed on completion?

If you subscribe to the ExportPDF online service, then the process takes place on the Acrobat.com website. After the file is converted, you either download it using your web browser or open it within Reader. The files are left on Acrobat.com until you delete them. You can access all your files via your browser at Acrobat.com and selecting the service you subscribe to or at files.acrobat.com.
