FLV embedded with Audio

I'm creating flv files from videos which include audio which
must remain. I'm creating the flv files using Sorensen codec as
suggested before in Studio 8 for Flash 7 (company requirement). The
flv files must be embedded since streaming is not an option. There
will be no other audio in the flash file (fla/swf) file other than
that which is already in the video.
When embedding, the warning comes up that if the video is
embedded and there is sound that there MAY be problems with the
audio. The problem is that the audio plays for a short period and
then stops even though the video continues. How do I work around
this since the audio in the video must remain and there is no other
audio being using in the swf file?
Thanks,
Bob

so what is the best solution to have video & audio in
sync with flash animation? What's interesting is that I found that
Flash MX actually worked better for embedding video - audio and
video were almost in sync. Even with video up to 2minutes they
stayed close. When I upgraded to Flash 8, they were no were near
each other.
I've tried the streaming server option (Not Flash Media
Server) but this is not the best solution as it is next to
impossible to sync up animation with the streaming video. Anyone
have any good answers or ideas?

Hi. I use Adobe Acrobat XI pro to make a PDF ebook embedded with audio. It works really well on my computer-I can read the book and hear the auto play mp3. The problem is, when I send it to my customers, they have difficulty hearing the audio. A few of them say they have Flash player on their PC and somehow they still can't hear, some say their Google Chrome browser tells them they've already got one flash player while they try to download one. For me, I had to download two versions of Flash player to be able to access to the audio. I don't know what the problem is, is it because it's the latest version of Adobe Acrobat XI pro that people with older version of Adobe reader or flash player can't open it properly? Or is it something else? How can I make sure every customer with different system can access to my books? Hope to hear from you ASAP! Thank you very much.

And how are the customers accessing the PDFs?
    What devices are they using?
What program or apps with versions are they using?
I this age of other then PDF eBooks formats and reader program and apss for computers and mobile devices for these formats I would look at creating the books in one or more of the eBook formats.
Google Chrome and FireFox both have their own version of a PDF reader plug-in and they are well known to be less capable than Adobe Reader. It is possible to configure these products to use Adobe Reader.

  • Audio files not embedding with .avi files in CS4

I am working on a project in Premiere Pro CS4. I successfully captured with firewire a number of clips and the audio embedded with the clip ( one .avi file shows up in explorer under the project. When I went back into the project, first, there was no audio captured at all and I did'nt notice until I had captured half of the clips (45 minutes). I don't know what happened there. Now, the audio is attached to the .avi file, but is not embedded like the previous captured files.   Example First capture: File Name : Harlem 01.avi  audio is embedded   2nd Capture  Guilford 01.avi  and Guilford 01. Stereo 1.wav
Why aren't the .avi files and the audio files embedded and combined as one file anymore?
    Thanks for any help.

    >Matrox card
The comment I have often seen is to the effect that "a Matrox card makes a good door stop"
For a Firewire transfer you don't need any "card" at all, only a Firewire port... usually on the motherboard
That said... and you mentioning switching back and forth between different Matrox modes... I would guess that, yes, you selected a wrong option
But, since I don't use Matrox, I have no idea what setting could be wrong (I do use a Pinnacle Dv500 via dual boot with WinXP to digitize some old VHS tapes before they stop playing... but once I had settings that worked to create AVI files that ARE Audio Video Interleave with everything in one file, I have never changed any of the Dv500 settings)

  • Any FLV files with Nellymoser audio are required

    Hi,
I'm writing a converter of FLV with Nellymoser audio into MP3
    format.
I've tested it with NM audio of 8 kHz, but I need yet to test
    it with
audio of higher sampling rates (like 11 kHz, 22 kHz and 44
    kHz).
Could anybody help me with a small sample of FLV file,

    Thanks in advance.

I just found the problem. Even though my Perian SAID it was up to date, it was only at 1.1.1. My old system that worked correctly still had Perian 1.1.3. I copied that component over and it works fine with the problematic FLV files.

  • Where I find this audio-export-format? AAF embedded, with 75fr handles

    Hi!
I have a problem with Adobe Premiere Pro CC (I have the trial version). I need to export a project in this specific format:
audio: AAF embedded, with 75fr handles
    video: H264, 720p
It's not a problem to find H26, 720p, but I can't find the AAF embedded, 75 fr handles for audio (I can only find AAC).
    Can anybody please help me?

  • Still having trouble with audio on Macbook Pro

I had posted a discussion board earlier on this issue. I've been having trouble with audio for certain videos on youtube and basically any website embedded with a video. The audio works for a few seconds that doesn't or it doesn't work at all. My volume is up, not on mute, and the one on the video isn't on mute either. It's funny because I just tried watching a video on Firefox (as opposed to Safari) and it works. Could it possible be something with the settings for safari?

Try restarting your Mac, resetting your router, and resetting your modem. My cable internet has gotten slow at times as well, and when I reset my router everything cleared up.

  • Flash 9 content with audio crashing Mplayer

I've found that running flash with audio on Linux crashes
Mplayer. Has anyone else noticed issues with this?
We are running a playlist of sorts, consisting of flash
movies (animations, not flash video) and H.264 encoded Quicktime
Video. The flash runs as an embedded SWF and the video runs in
Mplayer... this is all done in firefox. As soon as a flash movie
with sound comes up, Mplayer goes away and no video is played until
    the browser is re-launched.
This is a unique situation, but if anyone has any advice (or
theories) on issues with flash 9 content w/audio jacking up
    Mplayer, that would be awesome.

  • Can't make MPEG-2 with audio via Compressor

    Hi guys, help,
I'm trying to make a single file MPEG-2 with video AND audio exporting from FCP.
This file is intented for broadcast television, so i can't end up with 2 seperate audio/video files.
Every time I select MULTIPLEXED MPEG-1/LAYER 2 AUDIO I get some *.m2t file which I cannot play in anything. Is it possible to just get a simple MPEG-2 file with audio and video?
    Many thanks.

Are you using Compressor 2 or 3? In v.3 there are 3 MPEG-2 options, listed under Apple/Formats/MPEG-2/
    they are:
Elementary Stream which is your basic .m2v file, video only, used for DVDs
Program Stream which is a .mpg file - probably the one you would want
Transport Stream - .m2t file - what you are getting now.
I am not familiar enough with the different streams to give you a breakdown of what they all mean, but I have encountered similar issues. The .m2t file will play on systems that recognize the format, unforunately the Mac doesn't seem to recognize it natively (and yet it created it!!) The .mpg is probably what you are looking for but I remember having problems building it in Compressor 2 so you might want to consider the upgrade. Worth it for Compressor alone in our shop!
Now for my problem, does anyone know how to get a 5.1 mix embedded into the .m2t file??

  • Export PDF with Audio

Maybe I'm not able to do it, but I have a feeling it's just because I have NO clue as to how to go about it.
I've mae a pdf file using Acrobat XI . I've embedded an audio file. The pdf file works just fine on my PC but when I want to export it the audio doesn't show up. Is this function possible ? If so , how do I go about it ? I'm a NEWB !!
I thank you in advance for any help !
    Cheers!

I want to place PDF file or link to it on my FB page, when I do, the embedded audio file doesn't go with it. So I guess I'm not saving it in the right format ? I guess this would be the same if I embedded a video file as well?
If this can be done , what is the step by step instruction ? I can't see where I can save it in a different format ?
    Thanks again

    Hello,
I encoded avi's getting flash 8 flv's; I used Adobe Première Pro CS3 and Adobe Flash Encoder as well.
I would like to play these flv's with Flashplayer 8; how should I proceed?
With the VLC-player 0-8-6c the flv's are displayed nicely.

Flash video is played in a browser with the Flash plug-in installed. The video needs to be authored in Flash where a player interface is created. The video is either embedded in a web page or linked to the page. The player interface is downloaded with the video from the host.

    Question
Flash files played in the the newest version of the Flash
Player sound garbled or have a high-pitched "chipmunk" sound to
    them.
    Answer
The latest release of the Flash Player (v9.0.115.0 released
on 12/03/07)) causes audio to sound garbled and/or high pitched
like a chipmunk. Our development team is looking into this issue
and working to find a fix.
To avoid this problem, you can roll back your Flash Player to
a previous release. If you have problems installing an older
release of the Flash Player please review this article and contact
    Adobe for further support.
At this time, the problem is limited only to SWF files
produced with the MP3 audio codec. As a workaround, you can produce
your SWF files with the PCM audio codec or use the FLV format
    instead of SWF.

    Issue
If you previously installed a later version of Flash Player
for Internet Explorer, you may be prevented from installing an
earlier version. For example, if you installed Flash Player
9.0.47.0 and attempted to install version 9.0.45.0 the installation
    would fail.
    Reason
This issue is due to registry key settings applied by the
Flash Player security model. The restriction is to prevent users
from downgrading Flash Player minor versions. The minor version of
Flash Player is the third set of numbers in the version name. For
example, the minor version for Flash Player 9.0.47.0 would be 47.
If Flash Player 9.0.47.0 was installed and you attempted to install
9.0.45.0 (minor version 45), the installation would fail.
    Solution
To resolve this, download the uninstaller for Flash Player
from "How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX
    control" (TechNote tn_14157).
    Select Start.
    Select Run.
    Type cmd
In the command window, type the following:
    uninstall_flash_player.exe /clean
This will remove all entries in the system registry and
    resolve this issue.
Note: The uninstall_flash_player.exe file must be saved to
the same directory that the command window is in, for example C:\.

    Hi,
I doubt it's Safari that's changing the settings:
    Why does this happen?
Some third-party audio applications may change your computer's audio output setting. In fact, if you use the third-party application again after applying the above solution, the issue might occur again.
No sound from some applications, but system alert sounds play (Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4)

  • Export to FLV but no audio

I have tried so many programs, I'm losing track.
I have QT Pro 7.1.5 and FLV component 2.0. I have MPEG1-Muxed files, which I used 'save as' to create .mov files (tried other software and had no luck). Now, the .mov files I saved are great, but when I Export to FLV, all I get is the video - No Audio.
I have tried MPEG Streamclip, ffmpegX.app, Sorensen Squeeze, etc. and none of them will allow me to export the full video WITH audio.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm not very knowledgeable with video, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
I've spent hours trying to figure this out, if anyone has any idea what I can do to get these files exported to FLV I would appreciate any help at all. I'm about to give up.
    thank you~

Whoa! Think I'm in way over my head.
There are so many demux settings, but none of the settings really seem to be helpful in this case, unless I'm not understanding the Help file. I still need to sync the video and audio, and I've already edited all the .mov files, so I'm not sure this would work. I definitely wouldn't want to edit all the files all over again and risk a sync problem in the end. ( I just wasted a week working on these files to publish 30 min. clips, audio only clips, editing the timelines, adding graphics, etc.) Then I'm supposed to publish FLV and WMV files for this client.
I was hoping QuickTime "Pro" was going to be the solution to this stuff but looks like my time is up. I think I'll hit PANIC now.

  • FLVs have no audio

Since questions are rarely answered (or perhaps even read) in
    the
Flash Media Encoder forum, I'll try again here...
None of my FLVs, created with my Flash Media Encoder, produce
any audio at all. However, other FLVs given to me play in my SWF
just fine with audio. So, I know the problem lies within my
    encoding process.
Anyone suspect what I'm missing? The app's documentation has
no troubleshooting advice regarding audio issues.
    (PowerBook G4 • OS 10.4.9)

If you remove the first 8 flv files, do the last two now play
    with
audio? If so, the previous flv files were likely causing some
    problem.
    If not...
Just something to try. I don't know why things would stop
    working after
x number of flvs are shown...

  • Embedded mp3 audio is SILENT in Safari 3.1, is OK in other browsers. Why?

I embedded an mp3 audio file in a Web page. I also linked to it on a page of its own.
When I tested it out, it worked fine in Firefox and Internet Explorer -- it played, and the audio was audible, just as intended. Both the embedded way and the page-of-its-own way. However, I just keep those other browsers around for testing purposes -- my main browser is Safari 3.1.
But when I tried to play the embedded mp3 file in Safari, it seems to start playing - but no sound comes out! And it's silent on the dedicated page, too! Why?
Yes, my volume is on. Yes, the volume setting on Quicktime's little embedded mini-player is turned up to maximum. I checked the plugins for Safari, and it seems the full compliment is there -- I did just update to 3.1 yesterday, after all.
I also think I have the latest version of Quicktime, if that's relevant -- it says "v. 7.4.5" for Quicktime player. (I just did the full "Software Update," so everything should be all there.)
What could the problem be? I'm sure it's something quite trivial, but I can't figure it out.

I just figured out how to fix my audio in Safari.
Turns out there was an evil antique plugin called "Unity Player.plugin" in my "library > internet plugins" folder that was causing conflicts with audio files.
I trashed it and -- voila! -- problem evaporated.
