Flyouts not working CC AI v2014.1.0 - what do to?

I'm using Adobe AI/CC v2014.1.0 (18.1.0 64-bit) on Windows 8.1 with all current patches applied (through 11/1/14). The tool flyouts do not work -- that is, I can select a tool from the toolbar, but the flyouts don't fly out to allow the selection of any other tool in the group. Both InDesign 2014.1/10.1.0.70x64 build and Photoshop 2014.2.1 release 20141014.r.257x64 exhibit flyouts that work as expected -- that is, clicking and holding the click reveals the additional flyout tools. The Creative Cloud app does not show any available updates.I have rebooted the computer several times (always a good policy with Windows).
An earlier version of Illustrator (CC 17.1.0 64-bit) does not have this problem -- the flyouts work correctly. Looks like it's a bug with 2014.1.0.

I have the same unbelievable problem:
Dell Precision 6400, a second Screen locateted and configured on the left side, NVidia Driver 340.84, sometimes wacom intuos 3 (but not allways, driver 6.3.10w2, user preferences resetted).
In no application I have a problem with the mouse or the Wacom tablet, also Illu CS6 works fine.
If I use Illustrator CC 2014.1.0 on the prefered second screen (I remember: located and configured on the left side) the flyouts won't open and for example the rotate tool left illu in an unaccessable state.
Surpringly, if I configure in display configuration the second screen on the right side: everything is fine!
Again: This happens only in CC 2014.1.0 - Illu CS6 works fine (I didn't install Illu CC).
I'm happy, that I'm not the only one with this problem, but I'm realy unhappy about this problem.
Any suggestions I could change to solve this dysfunction?

IF it is a manufacturing defect and you bought the device from Apple or an authorized Apple retailer, then take it into Apple.

Flash Player 10 does not work in IE or Firefox. What could it conflict with?

I'm using Firefox 3.6.8 (and sometimes IE 8.0.6001.18702IC) on Windows XP Pro, SP 3.
For some weeks now, I have been unable to hear any sounds on anything Flash-based, from YouTube to games at MSN.com or embedded videos on any site using Flash. Initially I had assumed it to be because of having QuickTime installed because I know QT likes to hijack everything. I uninstalled QT (and Real Player) and Flash Player then reinstalled Flash Player (and Shockwave Player just in case) and guess what?
Yup. Nothing. When I uninstalled everything, I used a program called Revo Uninstaller, which includes a registry cleaning option. I then used Abexo and WinASO's registry cleaners to make sure I got everything else that even looked like QuickTime off my hard drive.
When I reinstalled Flash, the following programs appeared in C:\Windows\system 32\Macromed\Flash:

When I check IE's "Tools" and look for add-ons, it says that Flash (Shockwave Flash) is enabled. I even enabled the other Adobe add-ons for Acrobat and such just to be sure. Firefox shows Shockwave Flash and Shockwave for Director both to be enabled. The Flash control panel settings don't help: I have all sites set to store about 100 KB on my computer to make sure there's enough room for everything but still nothing.
Before anyone asks, my audio drivers are up to date, thanks to the manufacturer's website. I have DirectX 9.0c installed and everything else works fine. I can play audio and video elsewhere with no problems. It's only Flash that's showing me this trouble and there's no hint as to what else could be interfering with Flash.
Any ideas?

Well, great. I tried the uninstall/reinstall before, but not with the uninstaller, so I was hopeful that this time might do it. No such luck. The video still plays, but no sound.
All the sound settings are working with everything else from games to media players. I set Windows' firewall to allow both the ActiveX and plugin for Flash, just in case.
In the Flash folder, I now have:
Flash10l.ocx (10.1.102.64)
Flash Util10l_ActiveX (10.1.102.64)
FlashUtil10l_Plugin (10.1.102.64)
Genuinst (6.0.2800.1531)
FlashUtil10l_ActiveX.dll (10.1.102.64)

And the setup and text files that went with 'em.
I've also done a system restart since then and zip.
I went through IE and Firefox and looked for any file associations (like .flv) that I could manually change over to using Flash, but no go. The settings panels for Flash have all been set to allow YouTube specifically (as a test) and to allow 10KB of storage space for all affected sites.
Now what? I'm really not looking forward to a reformat and reinstall, but it's looking like that's what it's going to take.

Something is strange with your list of modules; you list FlashUntil10i_Plugin (10.1.102.64), but this is really 10.1.85.3
I recommend that you uninstall Flash Player completely (using http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html), then restart Windows, and delete all remaining files in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash.
Next reinstall both ActiveX (http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe) and the plugin (http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe).

Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.

As a temporary workaround, I believe this Adobe management page allows you to clear your "Flash cookies": [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel] (hosted on macromedia.com -- Macromedia was the original developer of Flash).
Regarding the script error, if I'm reading the script correctly, it is related to accessing your Flash cookies directory. It seems the publisher's support forum is not currently available for searching, but that might be a good next step.
In the meantime, could you check whether the script has the correct location for your Flash cookies directory? If you can't access Tool > BetterPrivacy, you could check here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''bpr''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) There should be a bolded setting named '''extensions.bprivacy.DataDir''' which looks approximately like the following:
C:\Users\''yourWindowsUsername''\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia
Do you have a similar value? If you paste the path used by BetterPrivacy into a Windows Explorer window, does it open? Also, click a couple levels in the folder, can you see:
Flash Player \ #SharedObjects
If the value is wrong, right-click the wrong value and choose Reset. BetterPrivacy should update the value the next time you try to access it.
If the value is blank, you could try inserting a sensible value and see whether that helps.

Buy one that is certified. Your current case might work without problems, and then might stop working in the future. iOS 7 is especially "sensitive" to uncertified peripherals. With this iOS release they have started to clamp down on "pirate" peripherals.

Your iPhone was almost certainly jailbroken to unlock it from the original carrier. Restoring the iPhone has now removed that jailbreak and the iPhone has relocked back to the original carrier. Only that carrier can authorize an official, permanent unlock, so you will need to contact that original carrier and ask if you would qualify for unlocking.
