FM 8.0.1 patch announced

A patch for FrameMaker 8 has been announced (see
http://blogs.adobe.com/techcomm/2007/11/framemaker_801_available.html)
however due to the Thanksgiving holiday, hasn't been put up yet.

It's available via the automatic updater in FM8 now. This is actually a layering issue where the text is<br />present in the PDF just                "hidden" beneath the<br />fill color object<br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------<br /><br />How to Remove (uninstall) FrameMaker 8p266 patch<br />For Windows:<br />1. In the Add/Remove Programs(Control Panel) there is an entry for<br />"Adobe Framemaker 8p266Patcher". Framemaker Patcher can be uninstalled<br />using that. Post Uinstallation Framemaker reverts back to Framemaker<br />8(p236).<br /><br />For Unix:<br />It is not possible to uninstall the patch on Framemaker on Solaris<br />Platform.<br />To revert back to the earlier version, do a complete uninstall of<br />FrameMaker 8 and then reinstall the earlier version of FrameMaker from<br />your CD image.
