FM for Batch where used list

Hi ,
I want to link the Finished goods to Raw Material and vise versa. I want all the levels from the Raw Material to Finished goods . Do u have any FM where we can give the Material number and batch and get the where used list corresponding to MB56?

Dear First check transaction MB56 also if it too doesn't work then check OMBB settings or Enterprise Structure--> Logistics
General--> Batch Management --> Make Settings for Batch Where-used list Transaction.
Check and Revert.

Traceability with batch class characteristics in batch where used list.

Hi,
I have a process order which issues 5 pallets or material and produces 5 pallets of another material. Each pallet is a seperate batch in my scenario.
All materials are assigned to a batch class and i will be using a class characteristic to enter the issued pallet number (includes material number and batch number) to the produced pallet batch. This way i want to create a traceability system.
the problem is i need a way to create a hierarchical view or integrate this scenario to batch where used list.
there is a badi for where used list to read external data. but i guess that is for something called "external batches"
can you please guide me for the best practice of doing this?

Hi!,
I think you have to use the mix of two functionalities:
1. Original batch function
2. Batch derivation
This way you can pull the characteristics of the source material batch in to raw material as well as finish material batches.
In this you have to create a nonvaluated material which is used as original batch mateial. You have to assign this material in material master of the RM and FG alongwith other required entries. Also you have to use batch derivation function to pull the charactristics of this original material batch in to the RM and FG.
Please go through the SAP help regarding Original batch and Batch derivation function to have more clarity.

Cross system batch where used list

Hi,
We have a 6.0 and a 4.7 system and we want to run a batch where used list starting from 6.0 and going to 4.7 and vice versa. Has anyone done this before and what is the best possible way to do it. Can I use a BAPI to call the MB56 tcodes across systems? Or is there some other method ?

Documentation for RS_EU_CROSSREF (where-used list function module)

Hi,
I'm trying to understand how to use the "RS_EU_CROSSREF" function module.
It corresponds to the where-used list function you find in so many SAP screens.
I need to use it in a program, but I can't find any good documentation about it.
I'd like something that tells me what values I have to fill in parameters.
For example, how to search form "TEST_FORM" in all programs ? or even in a given program, I didn't get how to restrict the search to a program...

table cross does not find any function modules although I know for sure that there are function modules calling the function module.
Please post an example of how to find function modules calling a function module with RS_EU_CROSSREF.

Where-used-list for APD-Routines (similar to rsaabap)

I'm looking for a "where-used-list" for abap coding in APD-Routines. The table rsaabap contains BI-Transformations but not APD-Routines. Is there a similar table for APD-routines that holds the ABAP coding?

Where Used List for Master Data Entries

Hi folks,
I am looking for a FM, method, etc. that gives me a list, that shows, where a certain master data entry of an InfoObject is used. The BW system makes this check implicitly, when trying to delete master data, but I couldn't get behind the logic yet.
Anyone here with helpful hints?

Unfortunately the two mentioned FMs are not helpful for me. I am looking for a where-used-list of master data entries, but not of InfoObjects. For example I am looking in which InfoCubes the measure pieces of InfoObject '0UNIT' is used.

What is the transaction to see the batch where-used list?

Hi,
First Check in OMBB, whether BaWU and BaWU Synchronization is activate?
Then run MB57 - Compile Batch where-used file
Purpose to run this transaction is;
If provision has been made for synchronous posting of batch usage data in Customizing for Inventory Management, you only need to run this program when implementing the batch where-used list. In the case of synchronous posting, the system automatically creates new records for each goods movement.
The program stores the batch usage data for the selected material documents in the file CHVW. it only takes into account the material document items for which the plant allows the compilation of a file (batch where-used list not deactivated).
It issues a log of the new batch where-used records and a log of the existing records.

There is a where used list framework in TM7 for
Transportation Zone, Lane etc. Is it possible to include the same for TCM business objects like
FA, Tariff, TCCS, Rate Table, Scale etc. Is it possible to do the customization?

Where used list doesn't work for global data

Hi,
When i try to do where used list on a constant in an include, it doesn't give the results for classes.
The class contains the include in a method that uses the constant, and the where used list for that constant doesn't find the appearance of the constant in the class.
I tried to look for oss note that solves the problem but i couldn't find any.

I tried to update the navigation index but it still doesn't work. from my debuging i found out that it just doesn't look in classes, all classes. I mean even in the where used itself there is not an option for used in classes. I checked it and it's a generic problem of the where used list for global data.

Where used listing for Query Variables

Can someone tell me how to get this list from the metadata repository or from the transport connector?
I have read this thread "where used" list for BEx variables but this isn't working for us.
Is there some config that is required which we have missing?
We are running BI7 SP19 if this helps.

Yeah I figured as much, but this is why I am thinking we have something missing, config or otherwise.
Cause all I get when I do this is a new window with just the Variable details and nothing else, no where used list at all i.e.

plz let me know report name for services where used in task lists.

I am abit confused. Are you looking for report to find where the task list is used ? You can find all the available reports in The menu path Logistics -> Production -> Master Data -> Routings -> Reporting.
If you want a specific one then please provide more details

Where used List for Packages (from Transport connection)

Hi SDN,
If objects , such as queries, or webtemplates, are incorrectly allocated to a BEx package at the beginning, my question is as follows:
Can we find out which objects/queries/templates have been allocated to a particular package?
Via some table, or where used list?
As we have a global system, we are performing this task for many developers who have incorrectly used packages from the start.
