FM for calculating interest on partial released SD
Hi,
I have business requirement wherein I have to release SD partially and then calculate interest on partially release SD.
I have tried to search FM or BAPI for interest on SD (FPI2) but in vain.
On checking through SE30, I could get following FMs
Call Func. FKK_INTEREST_DOC_CONFIRM
Call Func. FKK_INTEREST_APPENDIX_CREATE
Call Func. FKK_INTEREST_HISTORY_GET
Call Func. FKK_INTEREST_HISTORY_CREATE
Call Func. FKK_INTEREST_CALC
Call Func. ISU_INTEREST_ADD_INFO_2030
And by going through program, I found below FM
INCLUDE LFKI1U03. "FKK_OPENITEM_POST_INTEREST_DOC
INCLUDE LFKI1U05. "FKK_INTEREST_DOC_CONFIRM
INCLUDE LFKI1U04. "FKK_INTEREST_DIALOG_EXTERNAL
INCLUDE LFKI1U01. "FKK_GNRLITEM_POST_INTEREST_DOC
INCLUDE LFKI1U02. "FKK_INSTPLAN_POST_INTEREST_DOC
INCLUDE LFKI1U07. "FKK_INTEREST_INSTPLAN_CONFIRM
INCLUDE LFKI1U10. "FKK_INTEREST_ON_CASH_DEPOSIT
INCLUDE LFKI1U06. "FKK_LOANPLAN_POST_INTEREST_DOC
INCLUDE LFKI1U08. "FKK_INTEREST_DOC_DISPLAY
INCLUDE LFKI1U09. "FKK_INSTPLAN_INTEREST_ACTUAL
INCLUDE LFKI1U11. "FKK_RESTRUCTURE_ITEMS_FOR_INT
Wherein, I tried to run FKK_INTEREST_ON_CASH_DEPOSIT but I am getting error as dependent data is coming from previous FMs.
So is there is any FM or way to post partial interest (on partial release SD).
Regards,
Paresh
Hi ,
I think it is standard process that , interest will be posted even for the partial released SD until the date it is cleared with receivable or refunded . so you can concentrate on only partially releasing the SD. The interest of the remaining SD and the that of released sd (up to the date of clearing), can be provided in one annual run ,if that is permissible by finance department .you also need to look into TDS on interest scenario where TDS is deducted if interest in above Rs 5000(only applicable in india ).

APPL_LOG_DISPLAY With this function module you can analyze logs in the database.
APPL_LOG_DISPLAY_INTERN With this function module you can analyze logs in local memory, e.g. when you have only collected log records at runtime and do not want to write to the database.
APPL_LOG_INIT This function module checks whether the specified object or sub-object exists and deletes all existing associated data in local memory.
APPL_LOG_READ_DB With this function module you read the log data in the database for an object or sub-object according to specified selection conditions.
APPL_LOG_READ_INTERN With this function module you read all log data whose log class has at least the specified value, from local memory, for the specified object or sub-object.
APPL_LOG_SET_OBJECT With this function module, you create a new object or sub-object for writing in local memory. With a flag you can control whether the APPL_LOG_WRITE_... messages are written in local memory or are output on the screen.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_DB With this function module you write all data for the specified object or sub-object in local memory to the database. If the log for the object or sub-object in question is new, the log number is returned to the calling program.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_HEADER With this function module, you write the log header data in local memory.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_LOG_PARAMETERS With this function module, you write the name of the log parameters and the associated values for the specified object or sub-object in local memory. If this function module is called repeatedly for the same object or sub-object, the existing parameters are updated accordingly. If you do not specify an object or sub-object with the call, the most recently used is assumed.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_MESSAGE_PARAMS With this function module you write a single message, with parameters, in local memory. Otherwise the function module works like APPL_LOG_WRITE_SINGLE_MESSAGE.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_MESSAGES With this function module you write one or more messages, without parameters, in local memory.
APPL_LOG_WRITE_SINGLE_MESSAGE With this function module you write a single message, without parameters, in local memory. If no header entry has yet been written for the object or sub-object, it is created. If you do not specify an object or sub-object with the call, the most recently used is assumed.

F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST F4 help that returns the values selected in an internal table. Very handy when programming your very own F4 help for a field.
Example:
data:
begin of t_values occurs 2,
value like kna1-begru,
end of t_values,
t_return like ddshretval occurs 0 with header line.
t_values = 'PAR*'.

FU CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ You can use this function module to display simple material BOMs. You cannot display BOM groups (for example, all variants of a variant BOM). as in transaction CS03. Current restrictions: You cannot display long texts. You cannot display sub-items. You cannot display classification data of BOM items for batches. You can only display one alternative or variant. You cannot enter an alternative for module CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ, so you always see alternative 01. The following example came from a posting on the SAP-R3-L mailing list.
Example:
data: begin of tstk2 occurs 0.
include structure stko_api02.
data: end of tstk2.
data: begin of tstp2 occurs 0.

Unit of measure for calculation type C must be completed
Hi All
When releasing some contracts in SRM , we are getting the error message as above.
The error message doesn't specify any particular part and the contract has more than 3000 parts.
There are no conditions at header or item level.
There is no Target quantity also. Just a Target value for the contract and prices for individual items are maintained.
We are using extended classic scenario and the contract is manually created in SRM.
I have checked the OSS notes for this error, but they are mostly for contract creation in Bidding and not for a manually created SRM contract.
We checked the UOMs for all the contract parts with the UOMs ( Base and Purchasing) in ECC Material Master and they are OK.
In our scenario , MM changes in ECC are replicated to SRM in real time
Any pointers towards pin pointing the error will be rewarded!
Regards
KedarHi,
We encountered this error message and resolved the problem by applying the following 3 SAP Notes:
a) Note #1022928 - Unit of Measure for Calculation Type C Must Be Completed
(Previously Mentioned)
b) Note #1702484 - Unit of Measure for Calculation Type C Must Be Completed
c) Note #1517648 - Default Conditions Added for Product Category Item Type
Although the contract required is similar to a "Limit" item, but had to be placed for bid, then the RFX PS Item Type was set to "Service" to receive the bid responses. After accepting the bid response, then we created a contract from the bid response. Since it was to be a "Limit" type contract, then we immediately removed the data from the following fields:
Remove the Quantity
Remove the Unit of Measure
Remove the Price
Remove the Price Condition
After removing the values from these fields, then we switched the PS Item Type from "Service" to "Product Category". We added the Guaranteed Minimum and account assignment data to encumber the funds. We were able to "Release" the contract successfully.

Settlement of WBS with Partially Released status
Hi colleagues,
We are encountering problems during our settlement to AUC. Although the settlement rule is maintained, the system does not allow us to post the settlement to a WBS with "PREL" (partially released) status. Is this really the standard of the system? When can we release the WBS?
Thank you.Ask your FICO consultants to create a separate Asset class for AUCs.
They can maintain such class in OAOA, where ask them to maintain status of Auc as Investment Measure.
Now you can use this class in OITA - Investment Profile.
And assign this Investment Profile to Project Profile in OPSA.
Assign this Profile to capital project.
Now all your assets which are AUC stage will come to this asset class.
You can create completed asset in the other class by full settlement.
Rewards for helpful answer.
Thanks,

Budget availability check: Partial releases
Hi Experts
I have configured budget availability check with Overall+Released.
For the project, i have planned costs using network activities (Commitments are not created yet)
These costs are updated as planned costs and assingned costs in budget overview.
1) I am unable to maintain budget less than 100% (because of assigned costs)
2) I am unable to release for lesser amounts (It is too because of assigned costs)
This way, i am unable to use the functionalties of REVALUATION and PARTIAL RELEASE.
Please suggest possible solution to make use these functions.
warm regards
ramSivaGoto OPUV, uncheck the assigned value box for order category 20. This will make network planned cost not to be included in assigned value when the system status is CRTD, but once you release the project, the network planned cost will be included in assigned value irrespective of this setting.

Leave unit of measure for calculation type A empty
Hi Gurus,
We are in SRM Extended classic scenario with 5.0 version.
Here in SRM we have Procurement contact with process type Global Outline Agreement (GCTR).
Currently we are facing problem while amending the condition type in the contact line item. When we change the condition type for particular line item then getting error message "Leave Unit of Measure for calculation type A empty. (item 10).
On the line item the condition could look like this
Condition Price Start Date End Date
Price(Contract/Bid) 100 EUR 2010-02-22 2010-12-31
gross surcharge % 5,5 % 2010-02-22 2010-03-31
gross surcharge % 6,5% 2010-04-01 2010-06-30
gross surcharge % 8,5 % 2010-07-01 2010-12-31
when we try to add additional conditon like "gross surcharge %" then we got this error message
Leave unit of measure for calculation type A empty
if I delete all condition "Gross Surcharge%" then the error disapear and then I can try again, sometime we could create those condition without problems but offen we have this error.
Can any one help me to get rid of this error message.
Thanks In Advance,
Jakob Banginitially you could do multiple periods but when you change the condition it is not allowing you.
can you make inactivate that andd new line item and add same item with new condition
(SRM might have limitations)

Re: Generating & Dispaying JButtons for Calculator
I'm new to Java2 and having problems getting my JButtons to display in my calculator/Currency Converter program.
The JFrame displays with the display textfield at the top but no buttons are generated?
Would appreciate any help in trouble shooting this.

Regards
SynfieldI wish it replaced multiple spaces with  's. Oh well. It preserves the indentation a bit when I press 'quote original', all though it mangles long lines a little:
public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent evt){
Object source = evt.getSource();
String cmd = evt.getActionCommand();
if (flagNewNum)
display.setText(cmd.toString());
flagNewNum = false; //was firstDigit
temp = Integer.parseInt(display.getText());
etText()); //saves the number in a temp
else
if(display.getText() == "0" +
xt() == "0" + cmd.toString())
display.setText(cmd.toString());
temp =
temp = Integer.parseInt(display.getText());
else
display.setText(display.getText() +
ay.getText() + cmd.toString()); //for numbers longer
than 1 digit
temp =
temp = Integer.parseInt(display.getText());
The above works, except that 'if(display.getText() ==
"0" + cmd.toString())' fails, I want to ovewrite the
default "0" display with the first entry number. What
would be the best way to test this?
Your advice to keep track of display text in a
variable rather than IU components , sounds more
efficient, could you give me some efficient way of
doing this.

How to set the overall credit status as "partial release" on SO header?
Hey guys,
Do you have any idea on how did the overall credit status become "partial release" on sales order header level?
Because as my understanding in SAP, i am not sure whether there is a way to partial release a sales order with multiple item lines.
JasperHi balajia,
after seeing your description i have gone to VKM4.
i have executed OVER ALL CREDIT STATUS with A.
then i am able to see one sales order with OVCS - 'A'.
then i have given OVCS as 'B' & also "C' - i am not able to see any sales order OVCS as B & C.
that means here there are options to use if OVCS in sales order status is B or C as it has executed for A.
so,
some where in sales order program it is hard coded i think so - i am saying this because there is a link between sales order header:
Delivery status Not delivered
Credit status Not performed
Overall blkd status Blocked
so if it is hard coded with B and C also you can use these options in VKM4.
that's is what my R & D on this says.

Channel length too short for calculation
I've just switched from 9.1 to 2010 and I was told that our VBS scripts wouldn't need updating - not so it seems.
I have the following piece of code:
Call ChnAlloc("Input PSD")
L1=Cno("RealPart")
L2=Cno("ImaginaryPart")
Call FormulaCalc("Ch('Input PSD'):=Ch(L1)^2+Ch(L2)^2")
but this doesn't work anymore. I get an error message saying that channel 7 (Input PSD) is too short for calculation. Previously I would have checked the data matrix but I can't find this anymore so I assume DIAdem works in a different way know. The help files suggest that the channel length option for ChnAlloc is optional so I don't understand why it thinks the channel is too short.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Si.Hi SI,
You only need a minor addition, and you get the benefit that all new channels can have their length(s) dynamically changed. Please add this line of code after creating the channel and before the FormulaCalc() command:
ChnLength("Input PSD") = NeededNumberOfRows
Back in the dark days of the DIAdem memory matrix, DIAdem would by default launch with 60 static channels of exactly 8196 rows each. As you apparently know, you could customize the memory matrix to have fewer or more channels, and you could change their static lengths assigned when DIAdem launched. The fully dynamic channel lengths are a vast improvement, but it does mean that for FormulaCalc() commands you need to tell the channel to be big enough first. Interestingly, none of the ANALYSIS commands require you to do explicitly set the channel length before writing to them-- just the channel calculator.
Ask if you have any further trouble,

[http://sites.google.com/site/javartsandjavaseforembedded/|http://sites.google.com/site/javartsandjavaseforembedded/]Hello,
Just a quick question: can we have an official position from Sun regarding support of earlier releases of Solaris with Java RTS 2.1? Our customer is currently running Solaris 10 Update 3 with current Recommended patches, and the 2.1 beta cyclic driver supported this version of Solaris. However with the official release version of 2.1, support for U3 disappeared (only U4 and U5 are now supported). Aside from "rubber stamping" the Solaris build via /etc/release, is there a technical reason why U3 is no longer supported? As long as our kernel is up to date, can we safely use 2.1? Or is it just a case of being unable to officially support and test so many releases of Solaris?
Is this a general rule-of-thumb we can expect in future: only supporting the last 2 updates of Solaris 10?
Your advice is appreciated.

JavaFX error - Calculated only a partial product UUID!
Hello,
I am attempting to run JavaFX on t-mobile dash, running:
Windows mobile 6, CE OS 5.2.1236 (Build 17741.0.2.1)
Processor: OMAP850 201Mhz
Installation completed successfully. However, when I try to run JavaFX, i get the following error -
"Calculated only a partial product UUID! This can cause problems with correct device identification."
Please helpHi
Check your RA key and WIP customizing... WIP at target cost is possible only in Product cost by period
Check your settlement rule in Prod Order.. I guess it would be FUL and not PER.. FUL settlement means you are in product cost by order.. There seems to be a mismatch between your settlement type (FUL/PER) and WIP config
Moreover, if your stock is non valuated, do you at all need to calculate WIP for prod orders? I dont think so

What can be done is, create running total. You can create running total from field explorer by right clicking and then new. Create Running Total Field dialog box appears. In that, provide the following:
i) Field to summarize - provide the field to maximize (i.e. id)
ii) Type of summary u2013 Maximum
iii) Evaluate u2013 On change of field (provide the name)
iv) Reset u2013 Never
Keep this Running total field on the details section and suppress if you do not want to show it in the details section. Place this field wherever you want in the report.
Hope this helps you. Let me know your comments. -

Thanks in advance!
Best Regards.Hi Deepak,
For Finished Goods materials if you assigned Price control V (Moving Average) it is irrelevant to run the Standard Cost Estimation.
My earlier client we don't have variance because of the Moving Average Price for Finished Goods.
Please check, It is really required Variance?? If it is required check whether variance key is automatically assigned to Process order or not. (Control Tab)
