LabView Exe Application file not launch Excel application for report generation

Dear All,
I created one LabVIEW application file for report generation (using Excel Template).
While I run the program in programming mode it works well and create the report file in the specified path.
After creation of the application file(exe), it gives the correct path of where the excel template is placed. The same path is given to New Report.vi, but it gives the error 'File Not Found'.
Tell me, is any other configuration required for generating Excel reports? (During exe application mode)
Give me the solution.

Hello,
Most likely you are encountering a problem of stripping and/or building paths. Probably the easiest thing to do is put a couple indicators on your front panel for the path or paths you care about, build your exe, and make sure you are really using the path you'd like. If you always put the report at some deterministic place relative to the exe (that is, even it the exe is moved, it will go with the exe and remain in the same relative path location, then you can use the Current VIs Path funtion found in the ... File I/O -> File Constants palette as a start path (where you will want to strip at least the exe name off of course).
I think this will bring some clarity to the issue!

BI Publisher 10.1.4.3 - To connect to AD for report generation

Hi,
I need to generate a report against an LDAP(Active directory) . I'm using BIP 10.1.4.3. When i try to configure a datasource, the options present are
1. JDBC
2.JNDI
3. File
3.OLAP.
Can any one guide on how to connect to Active Directory in BI Publisher for report generation.

Using USB 6341 device for frequency generation but level is droped when conect

i am using USB-6341 Daq Device for frequency generation. The desired frequency is generated correctly but when i connect to other device the voltage level i means the Peak to Peak voltage of the frequency dropped to 0.6, 1 Volt and also the frequency fluctuated. As I disconnect it from the load or the device the frequency becomes constant and peak to peak voltage becomes 5.
Please some help me to resolve my problem.

I just wanted to clarify a few more things. Can you answer the following questions?
What frequency are you trying to generate?
When there is no load connected do you see the desired frequency?
When the load is connected, does the frequency always change to the same value or does it fluctuate within a certain range? If it fluctuates, what is the range?
Also, what microcontroller are you using?
Can you provide any images?

EPay 8.9 vs 9.0 Payroll for NA - PDFs for Payslips & W2s

We are on HCM 8.9 & want to implement the ePay but with the PDF files for payslips and W2s which is not included in ver 8.9 but is in 9.0. Is there a way to either just upgrade ePay to 9.0 without an entire HCM upgrade or a way to implement the PDFs for payslips included with Global Payroll but not with Payroll for NA. Additionally, we would like to have the W2s PDFs available to the employees. Any suggestions or guidance is most appreciated.

Specifically, your co-worker's install of Acrobat 8 / Adobe Reader 9 *will* result in one &/or the other not always exhibiting "design behavior".
If the individual needs Standard/Pro (Acrobat 8) then their box needs Adobe Reader 8, not 9.
jmo - but, if features of Acrobat 9 (Portfolios, etc) are used the user would benefit from a step up from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat 9.

eg. retro. means if retro will run then it will affect payslip.
Also send me some unit test cases in case of any payslip requirement.

Just give an entry in infotype 8, 14 or 15 for previous month and run the payroll than retro will run, than compare results using wage type reporter.
When you run the payroll give the sandard SAP Remuneration and compare the results in the SAP payslip and payslip you have developed.
If you have developed payslip using PE51 than the retro amounts are picked authomatically.

Is theis there going to be a Security patch for 1st Generation iPads? one has been released for all of the other devices.

Probably not for the recent problem because the code error didn't show up until iOS 6. Since the original iPad cannot run iOS any later than 5.1.1 there is no need for an update in this instance.

Custom code for LOV generation in Custom.pll

I am using the custom in my custom application, I am using the following procedure in Custom.pll for LOV generation. When I use the same procedure standalone then it's working fine, But when I use it in Custom.pll then it's giving me the Error "No-Data-Found", please let me know what to do. No one is developing applications for iPad 1 devices that are stuck on IOS 5. A compatible IOS Apple iTunes App Store is no longer available. A synchronization via iTunes 12.0.1 to my iPad 1 basically refuses to load almost all applications because newer versions of these applications require IOS 7 and IOS 8 for installation.
Time to get a more recent iPad that can run IOS 8 (or later).

Settings for young generation collector ignored

I am trying to play with GC settings to optimise performance of a Java server. It looks like when I turn on the concurrent old generation collector with -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC, the JVM starts to ignore my settings for young generation collector, like survivor ratio and tenuring threshold. According to the output of -XX:+PrintTenuringDistribution, my tenuring threshold is always zero, and the size of the survivor spaces is always 32K.
Please advise, how can I change the settings of the young generation collector and continue using the concurrent old generation collector. Or is this a known bug that has been fixed in one of the latest releases? My JVM version is 1.4.2_04-b05, OS is Solaris9.

The promotional failure would have been the case had my Tenured Generation been full. I am using a concurrent mark sweep that would be initiated as soon as the tenured generation reached 65%. There is no way that promotional failure could be the reason . Even if it was ....as you note my young generation is really small. Full compaction would'nt take that much time even if it was a promotional failure. In fact I am by setting the MaxTenuringThreshhold to 0 to ensure a promote all behavior in the Young Generation.
It has got to be something to do with TLAB . Could someone answer if UseTLAB is true by default in windows or you need to switch it on. Also I am using JDK1.4.2_04. Would it allow me to use TLAB. I read somewhere that TLAB implementation was a little buggy till 1.4.2_10 came around. What is the driving factor to set TLABRatio or Size
