FM for pulsing of status bar

Hi
I am looking for function module to make sap session bar in windows pulsing.
the reason is that when user has few sap sessions open, and in one of them sth happens (my event),
this session should be pulsing in order the user to see it.
I found FM to send express message BM_EXPRESS_MESSAGE_SEND, but it works only
when user clicks sth in sap session.
I need FM that will work independently of this that user clicks sth.

I have web Dynpro iviews in portal which are arranged in Worksets and roles. When we click on any role or workset, it is observed that the status bar message is changed accordingly. A long message starts displaying in the status bar due to Loading of the requests and directing to the pages and iViews . I have a requirement where either the status bar can be made to display only some fixed message or Status bar do not display any message at all. This needs to be done in whole portal. Please advice.

Hi,
For disabling the Status bar, just add the below line of code in Masthead (between JS code)(com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead) & redeploy.
window.document.statusbar.enable = false;
For setting default value in status bar, use:
window.status="Welcome";
and remove all occurances of mouseover.

Adobe Send Still Has Problems! Fails At End of Status Bar

Sending a video file 400 MB in size. I waited for the long status bar to reach the end - and when it finally did, it failed. Wasted a chunk of time. I reported this a while back and you guys said you were working on this. In the meantime, I still use SendNow. Please please do not discontinue SendNow.
Also, is there any chance that your website can 'remember' me? Every time I log in, there is a checkbox asking if I would like to be remembered. But it doesn't seem to function.
In SendNow, the application memorized email addresses from previous sends. It made sending files a lot less tedious. But Adobe Send does not have that capability - Are we going backwards here?

Yes, you should be able to do the upload/send operation in one action; I was asking you to separate them so that we could identify where the issue was.

Well first off you shouldn't have had to pay for a download (just an assumption from the word "purchased".
If you are trying to install iOS 5 on your iPod touch, it won't work they arent compatible. I suggest checking what version of software you are trying to install and posting it in this forum so people can have a better understanding.

Pages not loading, suddenly today, status bar at bottom of page has red "J" for Java and I cannot figure out why or what to do

After using Firefox successfully for months, it started not loading full pages today, but showing "done" in the status bar at the bottom. I also noticed icons for Javascript, Java, Silverlight, etc., on the right side of status bar, JAVA one is red, but I don't know what that means.

Problem w Plug-in Check page: the "Update" button for my outdated version of the WMP plugin does not do anything, and no link is indicated in the status bar when I mouse over the button.

In Firefox, I select Tools > Add-ons > Find Updates. The Plugin Check page comes up in the browser. The entry for the WMP Plugin indicates it is out of date. I click on the "Update" button and nothing happens. When I mouse over the button, no link is indicated in the status bar (it continues to read "Done").
The entries for the other plugins indicate they are current. When I mouse over the "Up to date" button for each of those entries, a link is indicated in the status bar.
I am running Windows XP SP2 on a 2005 Dell Inspiron 6000 (1.6 GHz Pentium M processor, 590 MHz bus, 504 MB RAM). I have Norton Internet Security 2010 installed and running.

WL5.1sp8-NSAPI-IE-Status bar shows page is loading for minutes

I'm using WL5.1sp8, NES4.1sp6 on a Solaris 7 to deliver JSP pages over
https.
I notice that the status bar on the bottom line of IE5 (windows NT)
indicates that the page is still loading for minutes, even though the
page appears to be complete. What could be happening to cause this?
This may be the symptom/cause of other problems I'm experiencing, such
as occosionally I will get a "The page cannot be displayed". I have
attempted to track that down, but when this happens, nothing is written
to NES's access log, thus maybe the request did not even get to the
server.

How do i have status bar and a back button for applets?

I have an applet which displays a set of panels in order. Is there any way that i can have a status bar like in an browser and a back button so that it can go back and go forward. What do i need to do? Is there any sample code to do so. I am new to java and learning.

Status-Bar -- a long thin panel with a long TextField. Perhaps use something from the BorderFactory class to seperate it from other parts of the screen...
Back Button -- Keep track of your panels in a CardLayout, for example, then use a Button with an action listener that uses the CardLayout's previous() method to move back to the last panel.

Status bar for openbox

I find myself to be over-cluttered lately, so I ask this; Is there such thing as a status bar for Openbox, much like the ones for dwm, wmii, etc? Here's what I'm looking for:
ability to:
- rename the tags
- use commands like ALT+1 or ALT+2 to switch workspaces
(optional but would be cool:)- have conky items in the status
- always on top; when windows maxamize it doesn't go over it
- put asterisk next to workspace name if URGENT hint is active (eg. if I get an IM). I know one of the status bars do this.
Can I just use one of the status programs from one of those window managers, or is there an alternative, or would this be a simple script?

sure take a look at rc.xml. there you can change almost everything, key-bindings, mouse-stuff, application behaviour related to wm, etc.

Status bar for interapplication navigation

I am involved in developing Inter application navigation.That is navigating between two webdynpro applications. But its taking about 30 seconds to navigate from one application to another application. So I want to know is the any way I can display status message/status bar before navigating.

How do I get rid of the status bar at the top of my iPhone 3G while taking screen shots? I'd like to publish the shots on the web and in a You Tube video.

It depends on what you are taking a screen shot of. For example, if you are watching a video and the controls (and status bar) are visible, you can tap the screen to remove them and take you screen shot.

Tracing of message in Status Bar using Call Transaction for MRBR

As per the business requirement, I would like to automate the MRBR Transaction. I am achieving this by using Call Transaction. After aaplying certain company codes as an i/p; i receive the invoices as an o/p in a ALV Lay out. Say for example, 100 invoices are displayed in a AlV Lay-out after applying i/p. Now I select all these 100 invoices and release them.
All these steps are recorded and supplied to Call Transaction via BDC table.
Problem:
The number of invoices released, appear in the status bar of that ALV Lay-out screen. This message appears on the ALV screen after I have released the invoices and clicked on "SAVE" button.I would like to use this information and display this number (No. of Invoices released) in my Job Log. But I do not know how to do it. Could any one help me out for this?

Yes I have tried that option as well.
But the thing is, the recording gets over as soon as I click on "SAVE" button.And that message apperas in status bar only after I click on "SAVE" button.So this way the message in the status bar never gets recorded.

Status bar for multiple preloaded levels (kglad are you there?)

OK, ive been building a site for about a month now and slowly piecing it together- so far ive managed to get all my various different levels loading and unloading the way i want them to, but now id like a little status bar to load on screen as my multiple levels are loaded in the background.
The way ive been accomplishing this without the load bar is like so:
on first frame of main movie
loadMovieNum("dl_web.swf", 3);
loadMovieNum("dl_illustration.swf", 4);
loadMovieNum("dl_retouching.swf", 5);
(the first frame of each of those movies has a stop function on it)
And i have buttons on the main movie that make each of those levels visible and play.
NOW, ive just created a movie clip ive named "bar" which is a thin rectangle, and i would like to have that movie clip load lengthways as my multiple levels are loaded in the background. So, my question is how do i accomplish this? I've looked all over and it seems like all the good preload tutorials are loading into movieclips whereas i am loading into levels.
Right now my site is technically working, but there will be pauses for people with slower internet connections and i need my bar graphic to pop up so they dont think they are dealing with a broken site....
