FM for sending Email....

Question

Hi All,
In continuation to my another thread in the forum for Emails and Excel Attachments, I would like to ask all whether there is any other FM to send an email other than SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 ?
I believe SAP must have given some alternative for this FM, and may be using that we can send attachments in which we can send formatted excel files.

Suppose tb_output1 is the table that contains the data, which u want to send in excel.

This will send the excel attachment. As a correction to my previous post I will write that, wheather this can send formaTTED eXCEL OR NOT , I m not sure.
Also, to know about all the parameters of the function module, press F1 on the given FM, that will give you a better idea.
Please get back in case you have any issues with the above. This code is an extract of one of my program . Please modify it to suit your requirement.
Also, search in SDN , YOU will get sample programs for the same.
