Fm radio in iphone 4s

Does iphone 4s have a fm radio?

No, it does not. Installing an app will also not give you an FM radio receiver. You can install apps that let you listen to Internet radio. Whether or not that will give you access to the stations you want depends in whether those stations chose to make streams available and in the correct format. Not all do.

  • Listening to itunes radio on iphone

Can you listen to itunes radio on iphone?

iTunes radio comes with ios7 so the simple answer is yes you can, depending where you live.  Unfortunately the radio is only available in the US, there is no indication when it will be available to the rest of the world, similar applies to other features advertised with ios7.  In the meantime as already suggested you could try a radio app, but it like myself you really just wanted the itunes radio, you might have to wait.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.

  • How can I hear local fm radio in iphone 4?

How can I hear fm radio in iphone 4?

The iPhone does not have a FM Tuner, but there are plenty of apps in the AppStore that let you listen to internet streams of local, national and international radio stations.
Personally, I use "TuneIn Radio" which covers almost all my local FM radio stations.

  • I can't log in to iTunes Radio on iPhone 4S

I just updated to iOS7 and tried to log in to iTunes Radio on iPhone 4S. I plug in my username and password and the "loading" screen just spins and never logs in. Works fine on my desktop. Anyone else having issues logging in?

If I could see the screenshots, then I wouldn't be asking the question. They do not load, so I have no idea what your specific issue is. The image issue is an ongoing issue with the new community support site.
Not sure if when you indicate you cannot log in, you mean that you simply are not signed into the iTunes Store, or whether you mean you cannot download items which require your password (as the second poster seems to be indicating). So, try the troubleshooting steps below that apply to your situation.
There are a couple of troubleshooting steps you can try for Error 5002:
    1.     Log out of iTunes on your computer then log back in again to see if that fixes the issue
    2.     Log into your Account in iTunes on your computer and overkey and re-submit your billing info and try again
    3.     Quit and restart iTunes on your computer and try again
    4.     On your device - go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign out of your account then sign back in again

  • IPod car adapter, ihome clock radio, and iphone

so I've noticed that after I unplug my iphone from various ipod enabled devices, I lose all my playlists (except for the one I was just listening to).
The songs are all still in the iphone, only the lists are gone.
has anyone else noticed this? The devices i plug into are an iHome clock radio, an iHome 2.1 stereo system, and a Mazda OEM ipod adapter in my RX-8. I get the same behavior, from all 3. Music and controls all work fine though.

    itspec53,
Its hard to say whats going to happen when you attach the iPhone to an accessory made for the iPod.
There may be an update released to make the accessories compatible. Try contacting the manufacturers to see if they have plans or the option to release a update.
If no updates are available you may have to find some other workaround to resolve the issue. Maybe you could test with a smart playlist or just multiple playlists as a workaround.

  • I am unable to switch to next song using my car radio and iphone

    I have an iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.2 (11A501)
My 2013 Camry has bluetooth function. So I paired my iPhone 4s to the bluetooth (via CarMultiMedia) in my car audio so I can make hands free calls and listen to music stored on my iphone.
So using my car audio system, I can select BlueTooth and listen to my iPhones songs via the car radio.
    This works fine.
However, I noticed just 2 days ago (10/4/13) thats while I can listen to the songs, I cannot change/skip to the next song using the up/down arrow on my car radio.
I installed iOS7 back in late September, and I was able to use the skip up/down to change songs.
Anyone have any clues for me
    1. why this function no longer work?
    2. How to get it back to work?

    Hello, UACount
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Sometimes closing all applications open in multitasking and power cycling the device can resolve the issue.
iOS: Force an app to close

However, if you are still experiencing the issue I have included the best troubleshooting article.

  • FM Radio on iPhone?

I bought an iPhone 4 recently and found out that it doesn't have installed fm reciever like my previous HTC phone. It was such a cool feature: I just pluged in earphone or a connection cord to the speakers and it became the antenna for radio. Isn't there similar application for iPhone 4 to receive fm without using internet?
I am asking this because in the country where I live we do have 3G service. But when I connect to this service my phone bill comes out five times higher than my normal usage bill. So I don't want to use internet feature from my mobile service company. However, I have a wireless network at home and could use that to connect to the FM radio (and internet). So I guess it is fine just to listen to FM while at home because I am most of the time at home.
Can you tell me what my best is bet to receive FM or what is the good aplication to recieve local FM radio using home WiFi? Thanks

Thanks for your answer. I downloaded Tune In radio application from Applications store and used it with WiFi. Unfortunately it shows only one FM radio in my location. There are more than 20 FM stations in my town. I went to all categories including BY LOCATION > ASIA. There are all Asian countries but Mongolia.
I am a little disappointed with my highly regarded iPhone. Even my less costly HTC phone from Thaiwan had more useful features such as Flash light.

  • Pandora Radio for iPhone 4.

You Can't Purchase This - You must purchase the app that this item is before you can purchase the item - What does this mean( I already own the iPhone  App).
The Payment failed. Please verify your account information in the Store section of the settings app. - Done.
I have contacted support for pandora and I am still waiting, if anyone in the apple communities can assist, thank you.

I have the Jabra Cruiser and love it. The battery seems to last forever before needing to be charged. The forward and reverse track buttons don't work with the iPhone's but this is Apple's fault not Jabra's but the Pause button does work. You should be able to pick one up pretty cheap on e-bay or Amazon to give it a try. It's FM transmitter works as good or better than most FM iPod/iPhone transmitters.

  • FM radio in IPhone

IPhone should have the FM radio option.

That would be awesome. That and games (and maybe doing the dishes) and iPhone would attract a bigger audience. Maybe in a future update.

Alot of people are having the same problem with the radio, its either a bug or just like the rumours state
(anything outside US will not have this feature)
Seems to be the same as the situation with the fly over maps when they were first released. Only the US phone were compatible.

  • ITunes Radio on IPhone 5 running iOS7 , live in U.S.A . Not Working

I have a iPhone 5 I updated to IOS7 I had iTunes Radio and now I do not currently have it anymore in my phone . I live in the U.S as well I'm confused could someone please help me thank you!

This seems to have fixed the issue: on your desktop, hold down the [OPT] key and click on "Go" in the menu bar; holding down the [OPT] click on Library, find Preferences, and then delete all the files that start with "com.apple.itunes.XXXX.plist" where the "XXX" is whatever other things may exist - as long as they end in "plist". From my experience, preference files are rebuilt by the system after the next restart, so you have very little worry of losing any important data; the worst that could happen )and NOT in this instance, but for other plist files) is that you may have to reset the application "preferences" again when you next start it up, to act or appear in a "preferred" customized way for you.
Once you delete the .plist files, empty the Trash, and either log out or restart the computer. Once you're back up and operational, start iTunes and your iDevices should reappear in the sidebar (if that's open) and/or at the top of the screen (if that view is enabled).
Hope that helps. It definitely fixed my problem!
