FM Radio prob

I recently purchased creative zen about a month ago and one day it froze at the creative logo and so i formated the hardisk and did a disk cleanup and then ran the 2.x.x.x whateva update it start working right but now all of a sudden i dont even have the FM Radio feature on the main menu i have checked where you can customize the menu and add things and it wasnt even there. The model i have is a Creative Zen Micro and if anyone can help me thanks in advance.

I know this topic is long since dead but I really need some help with a similar problem.
Recently I have been having the same problem since I updated from .42.x to .62.0 version of the Zen Vision M firm ware and when i tried going back to an older firm ware which the radio was working on for my brother in the display options menu it only made things worse by adding two new options with no label and they do absolutely nothing I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas because my personal experence with the tech support has been far from being even decent and I would like to avoid them if at all possible.

Creative Vision:M Radio prob

In the US my vision:m had no problem picking up radio stations. But now in Ireland when i do an autoscan, it picks up nothing.
Anyone know why this is?

Sounds like a bad connection internally or something else going out. Your best bet would be to contact Customer Support about your warranty status. Also, just because I know CS is going to ask you to try this, you may want to update your firmware just to eliminate the possibility of a software issue, and because you can tell them you already did it.

MuVo TX FM radio prob

Hi!
I have a muvo tx fm (256mb) player which was bought in France.
For a while the fm radio worked just fine. Then the player started to freeze if I try to tune to any station.
Out of approximately 0 attempts I can get the radio work only once. But even if it turns on I still can't tune to any frequency, the player just freezes again.
The only thing I can do after it freezes is to disconnect it from the battery and reconnect again.
I have the firmware version .00.04.
I tried the latest firmware .3.03 but with it the player stops responding right after I switch the radio on. So i downgraded back to the original firmware.
Anyway i still can't get the radio working.

st problem:
I'm suffering of the same problem. The player just freezes at 89.00 Mhz when I try to tune in the radio. It's too bad that one need to remove/ replace the battery before it starts again. I am in possession of a Muvo N200 GB.:angry:

When you try to jump to the next song, the player simply sto

But the other way around, jumping backwards isn't any problem at all. But it's pretty annoying hearing the same songs over and over again when having capacity of GB.:mansurprised: Could somebody help me, please?

Vision M FM Radio Prob

I got my Vision M last Thursday (today is monday). I installed the newest firmware update (.30.02)when I got the thing, then loaded a few albums. Everything worked fine. The FM radio sounded great, I was able to set radio stations, and record shows.
Today, though, the radio stopped working. The "FM Radio" option is still there in the menu, but when I select it I get no signal. (It isn't that the reception is bad, there simply is no singal.) When I unplug the headphones I don't get the "no antenna" message that it used to give me. I tried the "autoscan" feature, but this seemed to hang the device. After resetting it I went into recovery mode and tried "clean up", but that didn't bring back the radio. I reinstalled the firmware. Still no change. I'm beginning to fear that this may just be a hardware problem and I'll have to send the player in to the shop. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I bought my vision M from amazon and have the same problem . when I received the device I was able to do and autoscan and work fine then I heard several stations and no problem. But after one day or two I could not find FM in the Menu. I thought I had a firmware problem and I downloded the latest firmaware .30.02 .. surprise FM showed for a couple days and then I have tried everything Resetting options , reloading another time Firmware , clean up and formatting none of these options has allowed me to have FM back in the menu.
Have you fixed the problem..please let me know..

MuVo2 1.5gb fm radio prob

I have a .5gb muvo2 ;when i am trying to open fm radio it says "insert wired remote" but i already inserted it so what is the problem.
Note:Wired remote is works for changing songs or sth like this.

I guess it depends on the problem. If you still have a warrenty then you dont have to pay. But i guess it depends on what is wrong

Muvo2 nomad 1,5GB radio prob

i have buy a muvo2 nomad .5GB it is all ok but i can t listen the radio. i select Radio from menu and appear a message how this... " ! INSER. WIRED REMOTE " what is this wired remote? it's an optional? why i can t find anything about this problem in the help manual?

The wired remote is a remote control that has the required circuitry to access FM. Here's a link to it at the USA Online Store.

Zen MicroPhoto Radio Prob

Hello,?I have a weird problem about my Zen MicroPhoto. I just opened my mp3 player and tried to choose radio, but radio was not on the list. I had a look at configure menu but i cant find anything related with radio at my Zen MicroPhoto. What can be reason and solution?

microphoto uses oled screen not lcd. well for some reason oleds are cheap there better than lcd in someways but suck in others. uhh it could be that you got a fualty display id get it replaced or try the sleek photo. same price.

Zen Micro radio prob

My Zen Micros radio doesn't work at all. When I try to listen to it there is no sound at all. Does anybody know why?

Just a thought - have you tried tapping the play/pause button to take it out of the "presets" mode? Mine is perfectly silent when in preset mode with no preset set. Tapping the pause button allows you to toggle to scan or tune via the forward/back buttons.

I have just purchased a ZEN M and was thinking that it has got FM Radio.. But after I turned it on I understood that FM Radio isn't available.. So I am trying to download or purchase FM Radio but still couldn't find how to do.. Could you please assist me in order to solve my FM radio problem..

I've just had this exact problem. One minute there was a radio option, the next it had vanished.
I have tried updating firmware on my ZVM fro .3x to the latest, checking that it isn't hidden, restarting, formatting you name it I've tried it. Been through this forum god knows how many times looking for something that will help.
I contacted Customer Services, got that automated email which was of little to no help and responded to them asking for further help. A few days on I am still waiting for any further advice.
If anyone here has anything that may help please suggest it as nothing so far has done it and the official line seems to be silence.
Its annoying that this has happened after 6 months of solid service. Weird thing is that everything else works still tho.

Soundworks radio 740 prob

I have a soundworks radio cd 740 purchased online,? a few weeks ago.
It's great we love it the sound is clear an fills the room without having a great bulky system.
BUT somehow we have managed, it's must be hard but we managed to do it somehow, to enter a disc whilst one is stil inside. So it tries to eject but neither disc comes out. I don't want to send it back for this but would like to know how to remove it, at my risk or course. It won't eject and I wonder if you can give any advice, how to take off the top etc, it looks to be in two halves but takin out the bottom four screws does not seem to loosen the top. Or is there a simple trick for making it eject one of the discs ? Any of your engineers dealt with this problem? Please try and help without me having to return it, we don't want to be without it.

Having a second disc pulled into the player myself, there appears to be no easy way to eject them. You can unscrew a number of the screws, voiding the warranty, and take the unit apart. I did retrieve the two discs, but the unit was damaged. Tried one last unimportant disc, and it remained inside.
So, I plug in an iPod, and forget about the cd function. I do think that the unit is unforgiving- hard to believe it is so easy to insert a second disc on top of the first.
Also- there are screws underneath the feet. Do not forget to remove them- otherwise the case will not open.

Appleworks 6.4 printing probs

Sorry this is long, but the following probs have arisen at home & at work since updating to 10.4.4 & a/wx 6.4:
Many of my previous template documents now only print in a sort of dark grey, although they are black on-screen, and those created since updating print fine.
Printing in general:
1 Printing collated [ie pages in reverse order] is the only outcome, whether it's selected or not.
2 First printing after opening Appleworx is fine, but subsequently one can only print 1 copy at a time, and only 'all pages' - the radio buttons and number boxes do not respond.
We use canon printers, but so does the 'puter with 10.3 and a/wx 6.2.2, with no probs. There isn't a driver update, and I've tried reinstalling printer & a/wx

In addition to Barbara's (and Peggy's) suggestions, have you Fixed Permissions since the update? Use the Disk utility application (in Utilities in your Applications folder) the fix permissions after any software installation or update.

BTW, "collate" isn't "reverse order", it's 'print each set of pages as a separate set' as opposed to 'print all copies of page 1, then all copies of page 2...'

Loss of default gateway - to auto-shutdown radio

Hi,
I need a solution where, if an access point looses its connection to its default gateway, that it automatically shuts the radio down. And when the default gateway is again available, the radio is automatically turned on again. By connection, I do not just mean that the AP FastEthernet port link status changes.
Some kind of functionality like the 'track rtr reachability' that probes the default gateway, and takes action if the default gateway cannot be reached.
How to, if at all possible...
Problem is that wireless equipment will connect to the access point if the radio is up but the access point does not have access to its default gateway (for some error reason other than the local Ethernet link, but also that...)

Router (def. gw for WAP)
Switch 1
Switch 2
Wireless Access Point (WAP)
If switch 1 is down or if the link from switch 1 to the router is down, then the WAP radio will still be up. I need for it to handle a loss to its default gateway, not just its local ethernet wire.

Ok im a bit pissed im sick of this radio built in card fuzz im about to rip the fm/am tuner card right out but would prob kill my sound card thats built in. Well doing alot of reading the msi media center is evil with a capital E! after doing an uninstall of it and going into registry and removing all traces, my mute buttion for the radio works!!!!!!!!!!!! and I used the cd that came with my msi tv tuner card, and installed every thing on it with no problems thank god but one, installed the msi radio, and the tv application, only downfall so far is each time I mess with master volume the radio comes unmuted, /sigh, it was doing all this before with the fuzz so I know its not the tv tuner card, one more issue, I want my LED lights to start working on the front of my mega system again they just look cool lol
and whoever found the fan application thank you this thing runs so much cooler, alot more noise but I dont care thats what head phones and surround sound was made for lol. I would still like to try out the nvidia sound application but will it work with the mega 865?

How to listen to radio when the iPod nano is docked?

On the iPod, the antenna for the radio is the cable of the earspeakers. However the earplug is on the same side as the docking plug. Is there any accesoire for that or should I make my own design?

If your docking station has a line-in input, you can get a male to male audio cable and it will act as the antenna. I just did this with my nano and it works fine. Only prob is you can't adjust the volume with your docking station remote and the vol on the nano only goes so high. Hope this helps.
