FM to call workitem of a user
Hi Expert,
If I have instance of the workflow.
Do we have any function module that call workitem of a users inbox and execute it as it can be executed via sap inbox?

FM SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT that i am using to get the instance of the workflow. but i am not getting any FM that execute 'In Process' Task of the workflow.
Suppose in a workflow any task can be in process at any instance of time. How would you get the task executed from workitem id of the current workflow instance.

Call fwd to a user, who then call fwds to Voicemail
I have a customer with a scenario where the original user call forwards to another user. This user then has a call forward no answer to voicemail.
If the first recieves a call, then the call is unanswered on the second user and then endsup in voicemail, who's voicemail box should the call land in?
I am discovering that the call lands in the second users voicemail.
Is there any way to change this? Or is there any other way to configure it to call the fisrt user, ring on the sencond user, then land in the first users mailbox?
Alot of legacy phone systems had the ability to change the destination mailbox depending on first hop scenario.Hi,
This is expected behaviour.
The only way to change this would be to have the 2nd user forward the call back to the 1st user, or forward to a SIP URI that's tied to a shared mailbox that is accessed by both users... or something similar along those lines. This setting can be set by
the end user themselves or centrally via the Sefautil.exe tooling, but is probably not feasible or practical.
It makes sense, if user A is away for 4 weeks and forwards to user B. Then user B is off for a day and misses a call that came in for user A, and a message was left.... then user B can grab that rather than user A in 4 weeks time.
Unfortunately in Lync there is no 'destination mailbox', only voicemail, which is inherently the mailbox of the concerned user.

We are having the following issue: when our lync users are outside of our network, just connected to their home internet or a public WiFi and not on VPN, they cannot place calls to other
Lync users inside our network. They get a poor network connection message on the call window. But they are able to make calls from Lync to external numbers without a problem.
Inside our network, Lync to Lync calls work perfectly fine, the same for calls from Lync to external numbers.
Does anybody know what could be the cause of our issue? Perhaps I'm missing a setting on our Edge server. What should be the first thing I should check on my Lync servers?

Hi All,
I need to send a particular workitem to two users. One user is a fixed user and can be hard coded, the other user will be the initiator of the workflow. I have tried creating a container element, type SWD_AOBJID(dict data type radio btn) with multiline with the fixed user as initial value in the container and used container operation, add to table assignment type, to add the second user. But the workitem only reaches the initiator.Need some help on this.

Check in the workflow log if the multiline container element really has two values and if so, if they're similar (eg both preceded by US). If so, it should work.
If not, try making it a multiline container like SWWWIHEAD-WI_AAGENT

Hi All ,
I need to forward a workitem which is ready in ready status to multiple users , but I am not sure how is that possible.
1.I tried doing it with SWW_WI_FORWARD but it throws error that WI in ready status cannot be forwarded. how to achieve this
Moreover I have learned that by doing some settings in my SBWP would allow me to forward the work item from workflow administrator ,
2.the seting is goto sbwp->settings->workflow settings->personal settings->enable forwarding to multiple users , but i am not sure how it would enable me to do it,
please anyone can throw some light on the above two queries.

Go to transaction SWIA, put the workitem id, execute. then select the row and press Administrator Forward button(Shift+F12). before the button press, double click on the row and go to menu settings, click on Personal workflow setting, check the check box "Enable Forwarding of workitems to several users".
After pressing the Administrator Forward button(Shift+F12) button, Choose Agent pop up will come. Press the F4 button at Choose Agent pop up. Then Value range pop up will come. go to Users by Address data tab. Then press multiple selection button at the Users field. then put all the agents you need to forward and execute.

Everytime I try to save the site or add a photoshop button (that is all that I have tried), I get an error that says:

If it is happening with a particular file only, not with a new file, then please send us the file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. Retain workitem with same user at runtime
Hi,
I have developed a workflow for Service Notification using BO - BUS2080.
I have created Z BO for the same and included Z event (ZCHANGE) to trigger it at the time of change sevice notification from IW52.
This workflow is working fine if I create or change any service order.
But at the time of change if save service notification without change then no event is getting triggered, by which I'm not able to retain my workitem, which I want to trigger to same user who has saved that service notification.
Please help.

Once thing which I forgot to add, on double click of workitem I'm calling transaction IW52 which is used for changing service notification.
I know that event will not getting triggered, and because of that my workitem is getting deleted from the Inbox. Where as I want to retain that workitem if no change made to the same service notification.

Call forward to another users voicemail
Here is the scenario, i cannot find a way to accomplish this.
i am using CUCM 8.5 and Unity Connection 8.5
here is the requirement
1. User1 call forwards her phone to User2
2. A call comes in to User1, the call is forwarded to User2
3. If User2 is unavailable, the call is redirected to User2 voicemail.
The default behaviour is that if User2 does not answer, the call is redirected to the original called number (User1)
I have created forwarded routing rules in Unity connection and i can get the call to end up at User2 voicemailbox however, the user requires that this happens only when the call is forwarded manually. For example, if i call User1 and let it go to Voicemail, it will still go to User2
They want that it goes only to the User2 voicemail only in the specific circumstance that the phone is in call forward mode, not by letting it go to voicemail
Does it make sense?

I thought this was an interesting question, so I tried a number of ways
to see if this could be done
The problem, as you've discovered, is that the original Forwarded CLID
is so "sticky" as to render most of the standard routing methods moot.
In my tests I was trying to route calls that come into 7001 and are CFWDALL
to 5126 to route to the 5126 mailbox without changing the Originally dialed
to last redirecting setting (as nicely noted by Hailey).
I had to put in a mid-point number that was set to CFWDALL (via PSTN)
back to the second number.
So I setup a CTI-RP on a phantom (non-DID) DN of 4241 and set the CFWDALL
to 5126. I could then CFWD from 7001 to 4241 which then routed to 5126 with
the CLID stripped off and would then give us the desired results. No other method
that I could come up with would work.
