Does any know if there is an FM transmitter/charger for the iPad. I want to be able to play my iPad thru my car stereo system.

it's 5volts and watt == volt * amps
so ipad draws 2 amps
and it's draws! not being feed
it draws the amps out of the charger as much as it require
if the charger is able to supply 4amps or 40MEGA amps dont mean anything at all
it's all down to ohms law
volt spikes have nothing to do with how much amp a device can supply

3 amp, 2-port charger for iPad & iPhone, where are they?

Why hasn't Apple (or Griffin Technology) released a 2-port travel charger for iPad & iPhone? Is it really that hard to design a 3-amp power block? It is a royal pain having to carry 2 power blocks, and a struggle to find enough outlets to get everything charging at once.

This is my preference, by Belkin, because it has all of the bases covered; surge protector with three electrical outlets and two USB outlets. You can swivel the prongs on the back 360° with 4 locking positions. I take mine everywhere I travel.

Can i use new ipad charger for ipad 2 and vise versa

I have ipad 2 and i bought new ipad for my dad. Both ipads charge quickly with ipad2 charger as compare to new ipad charger.
So, my question is.. Is it okay to use new ipad charger for ipad 2 and vise versa...???

The iPad 1, iPad 2 and new iPad all use the same 10W charger.

Fm transmitter/charger for 4G Nano

I've been trying to find an FM transmitter/charger for my new 4th gen iPod Nano that actually works. My latest attempt is the Belkin tunebase--it charges, but doesn't broadcast. Anybody have a recommendation?

very likely by now that you have found an fm transmitter that works with the nano 4g, but if not, here is a link to griffin transmitters that work with the 4g. I can't attest to their quality as I have not yet tried any of them, but I am looking at purchasing one soon.

I left my apple charger at home but i have a 9w ac adapter here. Can i use it to charge my ipad air? Does it just charge it slower?

an Airpad is an expensive piece of kit for the price of a Charger
Unless you are confident of the quality of the other charger I would pick up a spare geniune Apple one

Solar charger for ipad

Going on a two week camping trip and will not have electricty is there an approved solar charger currently of the ipad.

I'm seeing if the following setup works and would save hundreds of pounds I admit that charging the batteries may take a little longer than the other chargers. But if it save me 100's of pounds and also allows me to keep charging loads of battles for future use. Who cares.

10W charger for iPad and 8W for iPhone...

May seem a daft question (sorry!) but if I accidentally used the iPad plug for the iPhone, thereby charging it 2W higher than it 'should be', will it damage the iPhone? If yes, why do they look identical?! If no, I don't suppose it matters, just want to find out before I accidentally do it as I can see that day coming a mile off...!

So for example, if you try and charge an iPad with a lower wattage adapter, it may not charge at all or will take longer to charge.
But it will not hurt to charge your iPhone or iPod with the higher power iPad adapter.

Charger for ipad and iphones

I am loooking for some recommendations on a charger accessory. We have 2 iphone 5s and an ipad air. The iphones have otterbox cases.
They all using the lightening conenctor. Right now we have a tangle of charging cables.
I am looking for some kind of charging system or dock that will decrease the clutter. It needs to work with the lightning connector, handle 3 units (2 iphones and an ipad), and be able to charge them all simultaneously. I have found it suprisingly difficult to find a good product.
Any recommendations?

The smaller peice can be replaced with other options, other nations use different power plugs, so it's modular for those markets.
Also you can use a standard two prong extension cable like used with a stereo/receiver/etc. to get longer reach.
