FMLE 3.2 Closes when I select 1280x720 input size

I am streaming our church services using FMLE 3.2 and every time I try selecting 1280x720 as my input size, it closes immediately.  I have tried several things in an attempt to get a different result, using the Main profile and various different levels, trying VP6 instead of H.264, etc., and all have the same result.  I currently use a 700x400input, but this causes a pixelation when my video is played back full screen that I am not happy with.  Has anyone seen this before or know what might be causing this?
I am capturing the video with a Viewcast Osprey 700eHD with HD-SDI.   I have a Windows 7 Pro computer with i-7 processor with 12gb ram.

  • Lately my finder closes when I select a shared devices and I can no longer connect to other macs.  Wifi working, TC okay except in finder. Mac Pro running 10.8.5

    Lately my finder has been closing when I select a shared device such as another mac, a printer, or the time capsule.   My WiFi connection is working - I can can still backup to the TC and use my wireless printer, but I just can't access them by clicking on them in the finder window.   Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thanks for your help
    I made no changes to the mini or the server.
    The router was shut down then on restart the new (replaced modem) was configured by using another mac on the network (not the file server)
    Once the router and modem were online again, other macs running 9.2 were accessing the file server as usual. The mini was not.
    I had been working on a file that resides on the server. I was not warned that the router was going to be shut down. When I saved the file I got the beach ball then error message.
    It'll be next week before I'm in the office agin. I'll report back then. Thanks

    You can remove all stored data from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry (Show All History or History sidebar).
    Using "Forget About This Site" <u>will remove everything</u> like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions from that domain, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.<br />
    You can't recover from that "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.
    It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

  • DVDSP closes when I select asset to import

    I have exported a project from Final cut pro with chapter markers into a DV NTSC 48 khz quicktime. Whenever i attempt to import it into DVD studio pro, it must close 'unexpectedly.' I can still import other quicktime movies to DVDSP from the same external hard drive. I've tried multiple times to re-export the piece from final cut pro without any success. I believe that the 3rd time I exported the piece, video wouldn't come up when I opened it in quicktime. Should I be exporting the Quicktime file to another hard drive? Could it be the FCP settings for exporting with chapter markers is messing it up? What could be the problem?
    Thanks.

    Have you tried dragging it from the Finder to the Asset bin to see if that works (or is that is what is happening.) Did you do some of the steps to generallly trouble shoot (repair permissions etc) Though it is weird that you get something that is blank in QT. (FWIW you should first try to see if it imports into a brand new DVD SP project after deleting the MPEG/PAR folders, even better encode the file outside of DVD SP )
    Have you encoded anything recently? m2vs? There is a bug but have not sseen quite what you are seeing

  • I am unable to select the correct paper size when printing photo's in iPhoto 11. When I select the paper size in the custom window for 4x6 prints the prints only appear on an 8 1/2x11 page. My Mac is a year old iMac running 10.8.2.

    I am unable to print 4x6 photo's using iPhoto 11. When I do they only print out on lettter size paper even though I enter 4x6 in the custom window in the print size menu. My older Snow Leopard system using iPhoto 9 the paper size window offered a 4x6 paper size which worked well.

    Selecting paper size in the first sreen tellis iPhoto what papery you are going to use - it does not tell the printer what paper to use - printer specific options on on the last (second or third if you customize the print) screen where you tell the print any specifics like paper source (typically printers need to you tell them where a specific paper is loaded - they do not really know the sizes in each paper tray)

  • Photoshop CS5 running under Win7 locks up when I select Image/Image Size.  Any ideas?

    Only thing I have done recently is install dropbox.  Other functions seem to work still.  Tried reboot etc.

    That's a known bug in Win8.
    Set the GPU advanced mode to "Basic" for the time being.
    Also check with your GPU maker for updated drivers.

  • FMLE 3.2 Crashes when 1600x892, 1280x720, 1024x576 or 640x480 are selected under Win 7 Ultimate

    Any time I select one of e\these resolutions, FMLE just disappears; no crash report, noting. It just shuts down. Works fine with any of the other resolutions.
    Input Device:
    - Logitech HD Pro Web Cam C920
    System Specs:
    - CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.00 GHz
    - Memory: 2 GB
    Operating System:
    - Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit)

    TL;DR: Had the same problem, uninstalling graphic drivers and using crappy win7 default ones made it work for me.
    I've got exactly the same problem, Logitech C920, FMLE  crashing on exactly the same resolutions as you have posted in the subject.
    I've done some testing today, here are my findings (also possible workaround).
    1) First interesting thing is that I have access to multiple machines and on my primary working notebook this does not happen. It's a Dell Latitude E6410, Core i7 with Nvidia NVS 3100 Graphic adapter. On this machine I can use the C920 with FMLE on every resolution without any problem at all.
    2) The problem occurred on multiple machines, my tests happened on a Dell Inspirion 15, Core i5 with "Intel HD Graphics adapter".
    Both machines where using the exact same webcam drivers, both are windows 7, yet on one machine it worked and on the other FMLE crashed.
    This is what I get from the logfile after a crash happened:

    Flash Media Live Encoder has experienced an unrecoverable exception. The details here may help to locate the problem. If the module listed is a third party driver, try updating or using a different driver. For reproducible problems within Flash Media Live Encoder itself, send this file to  [email protected] with a description of what you were doing when the exception occurred.
    3) My first attempt was to deinstall the Logitech Drivers and this indeed worked as FMLE did not crash anymore. However, not using the Logitech Drivers on Windows is not a good option as you cannot disable the so called RightLight and RightSound features which cause more trouble than anything else in my experience.
    4) I've then tried a application I have written myself using .NET and the DirectShow API and in that application I was able to use the Webcam with resolutions that would not work in FMLE.
    5) After many more unsuccessful testing, I've tried to put an external Display on the notebook and use FMLE on that display. Surprisingly this made it work, I could select a resolution that would not work before and it was displayed correctly. However, if I would do anything to the FMLE window, even moving it for just one pixel it would crash again.
    6) I've ended up with uninstalling the Intel HD Graphic Drivers and use the super crappy windows default drivers, this made it work for me.
    Conclusion: This seems to be some combination with graphic drivers, webcam drivers and FMLE. Using different drivers might help to make it work but as I recently saw the same problem with an "Ospray" device when setting it to 640x480 (there is also a thread here about that) I think there is a basic problem with FMLE that needs fixing - I hope this post helps to track it down.
    Btw. I've also tried to use FMLEcmd.exe to stream without the GUI in settings that would make the GUI crash and that worked fine so it really is just a GUI problem.

  • Photoshop CS5 closes when selecting "File-Automate-Batch"

    I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5 (v12.0.4 x32) under Windows XP Pro SP3. When I select “File-Automate-Batch”, a window pops up saying:
    Adobe Photoshop CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
    The choices to continue are “Send Error Report” or “Don’t Send” but with either selection, Photoshop closes. This happens even with no images open.
    What do I need to do to fix this problem?
    Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

    From reading the different posts about this problem, the answer seems to be removing the Twain plugin resolves the issue
    or possibly updating your scanner drivers. Have you installed the optional Twain plugin into photoshop cs5?

  • I am using microsoft outlook for email in firefox. When I select the envelope for email it takes me to a mailto window in outlook which I have to close.

    I am using microsoft outlook for email on latest version of firefox. In the applications window the only selection for outlook is mailto. When I select the envelope it takes me to outlook, however the first page is a mailto page with a link to my home page. I have to close that and get to my email page. How can I skip the mailto and go right to the outlook inbox page? Thank you.

    I may have made a mistaken assumption that you were using Outlook.com (online webmail). If you are using Microsoft Office Outlook, then you actually would need an add-on to put a button for that program on the toolbar. I'm not sure if there is one specific to Outlook, but there is an extension named Custom Buttons that can be tweaked to do a wide range of things.
    * https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/custom-buttons/
    * forum for getting help with the add-on: http://custombuttons.sourceforge.net/forum/
    But... I 'm not sure it's worth the effort because you usually can switch between Firefox and Outlook pretty quickly using the Windows Task Bar or Alt+Tab (keep holding Alt after you release Tab to see all the open windows and then Tab to the one you want).

  • Help! When I select "Phone" it tries to open and gives me a white screen and closes. I cannot view my missed calls or voicemails.

    If anyone knows anything about this...
    When I select "Phone" on my home screen the iPhone attempts to open it, brings up a white screen and then will shut back down. I have 8 missed calls or voicemails yesterday and I couldn't check any of them. Does this happen to anyone else?
    Also, when I receive a call and I answer it does not give me the ability to end call or any of my options (sources, keypad,etc.) during the call.
    Basically, I can't do anything with my contacts, favorites, missed calls or voicemails.
    Can someone please help?

    I have tried that multiple times. I have also made sure that I have the latest updates. Would haveing 27,000+ contacts have anything to do with it?
    Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

    On a menu use JRadioButtonMenuItem.
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class JRadioButtonMenuItemExample {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {
                    launch();
        static void launch() {
            JMenuBar mb = new JMenuBar();
            JMenu menu = new JMenu("menu");
            mb.add(menu);
            ButtonGroup bg = new ButtonGroup();
            JRadioButtonMenuItem item1 = new JRadioButtonMenuItem("alpha");
            bg.add(item1);
            menu.add(item1);
            JRadioButtonMenuItem item2 = new JRadioButtonMenuItem("beta");
            bg.add(item2);
            menu.add(item2);
            JRadioButtonMenuItem item3 = new JRadioButtonMenuItem("gamma");
            bg.add(item3);
            menu.add(item3);
            JFrame f = new JFrame();
            f.setJMenuBar(mb);
            f.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            f.setSize(400, 300);
            f.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
            f.setVisible(true);

  • Firefox don't close when "browsing and Download History" is deleted on exit

    Firefox doesn't close properly in about 50 % of cases. When closing FF, the window closes but the process firefox.exe isn't terminated. When trying to open FF again you got the error message "Firefox is already running, but not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." After terminating the process firefox.exe in the windows task manager, FF can be started again.
    Error only occurs when under "Options/Privacy/Use custom settings for history" at "Clear History when Firefox closes" the option "Browsing and Download History" is selected.
    All other options selected or not don't cause the issue.
    I switched this option it several times. When "Browsing and Download History" at "Clear History when Firefox closes" isn't selected, the error doesn't appear.
    Reproducible regardless if "Remember my browsing history" and "Remember download history" are selected or not.
    Reproducible:
    - after new installation of Firefox (Firefox 29.0.1 german, Windows7 64-bit)
    - with different profiles, even with all addons disabled or running in safe mode
    - with new profile with no addons or dictionaries installed
    - with windows firewall turned off and deactivated antivirus program
    - with hardware accellaration on and off
    I know the issue has already reported at bugzilla.mozilla.org and described at
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/997918
    https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/997670
    I want to describe the problem more precisely:
    It only occurs when "Browsing and Download History" is delete on exit. The other option at "Clear History when Firefox closes" don't cause this issue.
    Is there any other solution then to turn "Browsing and Download History" off?

    From what I have been reading from other posts on this forum, the issue may
    be caused by the clear history settings.
    Press the '''<Alt>''' or '''<F10>''' key to bring up the tool bar.
    Then '''Tools > Options > Privacy'''.
    The button next to '''History''', select '''Use Custom Settings'''.
    At the bottom of the page, turn on '''Clear History When Firefox Closes.'''
    At the far right, press the '''Settings''' button. Turn on ONLY '''Cache''' and
    '''Form And Search History''' leaving the others off.
    This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up.
