FMLE 3 and 3.1 does not open at all in vista

Hi,
Adobe FMLE 3 and 3.1 does not start at all in vista. Its a 32-bit machine. 512MB RAM. Can anyone give me some clues?

It happend to me to on windows 7, when I exchange Black magic car with Ospray. After I uninstalled drivers for black magic, FMLE started fine.

    I'm having a similar problem...but mine results from an OS upgrade from 10.6.4 to 10.8.5.
    Where did you access a clean copy of Java SE 6?  The link at adobe for archicval plug-ins is a dead download (and it doesn't appear to contain Java SE 6.).

I did not download any upgrades or anything else, and I have Norton 360 version 3. I can open Internet Explorer, but that's not my default browser, so I have no problem with the Internet connection.
    What could be the problem, how can I restore my browser without losing my bookmarks, settings, etc?

    If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? For instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see [[Safe Mode]]. Extensions can sometimes be the cause of problems. If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem.     what happens? What version of iPhoto do you have? For Mavericks you must have iPhoto '11 version 9.5 - if you own any version of iPhoto '11 it is a free update - if you own a previous version then you must purchase iPhoto '11 in the App store

    Firefox crashes (does not open at all) since I updated to version 3.6.4. Not even when I re-downloaded it several times. Now, even the old version doesn't start. I have a Mac OS X version 10.6.4. It doesn't show that pop up window that explains why it crashed. It just stops and quits.

    In any case, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
    Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
    If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

    I presume that  you mena you trashed the prefs and it doesn't work in a new user either.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
    Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
    When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

    In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
    In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
    Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

    If you right-click on your Photoshope.exe, select Properties, there should be a Compatibility tab. There you can select Windows XP, Windows 2000, Winows 98 or 95. One of these should allow you to open Photoshop 6, unless you mean CS6.

    Start the application with the option key down. It will let you choose which libraries to open. Choose to create a new one, then see if it can open the old ones.
    After you find which library causes the problem, try opening a backup version of it, like Tom said. Backups are by default in a folder Final Cut Backups inside the Movies folder.

    Try a hard reset and go from there. You might try a manual install (using DFU Mode), as outlined in the link below.

    Have you tried a reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider.  Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.
