FMLE doesn't show video/audio using datavideo

Hi there!
I've been trying to use my datavideo DAC-2 converter to do some live stream. Other softwares like Nero Recorder recognize the device and catch the signal, but FMLE doesn't.. I'm using Windows 7 with Firewire.

UPDATE: FMLE recognizes the device as DV Camera, but no signal is given..

Here's what I discovered. I'm sure it's unique to my setup and situation but anyway here it is . . .
I'm on a MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.1 and using iTunes 9.0.2. Videos would only play audio. I'm a photographer so often hook up my MacBook to an Apple LED Cinema Display to work on photos. When I click on the movie or TV show I want to watch without the display attached I only get audio. Once I hooked up the LED display to my MacBook the video window appears in the LED display but not on my MacBook. I just slid the window back to my MacBook Pro screen and now I can view all my movies and videos on my MacBook as before. Problem solved for me.
Maybe the video window is playing outside the display screen border of your computer. Maybe it's something else altogether. Good Luck.

i have tried this new charset combination specifically for iphone and i m waiting for response from sweden alliance.....i hope this works fine as iso works great for 8-bit characters.

Camera Adapter Kit-Doesn't Show Videos

I've been using my camera adapter kit to put photos from my camera, into my iPad but it doesn't show the videos I've recorded. I tried deleting all the pics from my camera and just leaving the one video I want to transfer but the iPad shows:"No photos to import"
I'm using a Sony digital camera that records video in MPEG-4 format. Any suggestions? (I transfered the video to my Dell laptop, no problem)

From the error message you are getting there is a DCIM folder on the storage media. Therefore, two possible problems. One is that specific format of the MPEG-4 videos is not compatible with the iPad. There are many variations in MPEG-4 file formats and the iPad will not play all of them. The other is that the video file is not in the DCIM folder.
When you look at the file structure of the storage media with your computer where is the video file located? If you take the video file off the camera and into your computer and then add the video to your iPad via syncing does your iPad play it?

Ichat doesn't show video option

Is this in each and every Buddy list for all your Buddies ?
A Jabber or Google List will not sure PC Buddies or Buddies logged in via a web Browser as being able to Video or Audio Chat.
Other Checks:-
In the View Menu of iChat check that Show Video and Show Audio Status items are ticked.
In the Video menu check Enable Camera, Enable Microphone are ticked. (If you are using Lion these will read Enable Video Chat and Enable Audio Chat).
If these do seem to apply, tell me what it says in the Connection Doctor (Video Menu) > then Capabilities.

AVC/AAC .mp4 60 fps - Premiere Pro CC 2014 doesn't show video

Hello everyone!
I have a BIG problem with the latest version of "Premiere Pro CC 2014 - release 2014.0.1"; i can't work with AVC / AAC video file with extension .mp4 at 60 fps.
When i import the file into my "AVCHD 1080p 60fps" sequence, the video has only 1 "green" frame, and the video file doesn't show properly.
With the previous version of CC, the 7.7.2. version, the same video works perfectly.
How can i fix it?

Sql developer v1.1 doesn't show in the list of synonyms those whose destiny is accesed through dblink. It only shows the synonyms of local objects.

I found SQL Developer support for SQL Server too limited for anything other than simple queries on tables/views.
Squirrel SQL client (open source, free and also java based) may prove a better tool.

No audio video audio using airport express?

does anyone know why you cant listen to music video audio thru airport express. music works fine...not audio.

I'm sure it's the same reason you can't listen to audio through Airtunes and on your computer's speakers at the same time: there's a significant delay as iTunes processes the audio, sends it over the network, and the Airport Express decodes it and sends it to your stereo. The video on your computer would be out of sync with the audio from the speakers.

I am currently using the firewire port on my macbook pro to record dv from my camera. Can I capture video/audio using my USB port as well?ra

I've been connecting a sony PD170 via firewire to my Macbook pro to record directly using Quicktime pro. Can I use the usb port (and mini audio in) to accomplish this with a camcorder that doesn't have a fire wire port but does have USB out?

It could just be a bad disc - I use Verbatim and have only had one fail in a ten-year time period. Try getting a batch of Verbatims and see if you have any problems. I didn't even know that there were Kodak branded discs...

Ffplay doesn't play video after using chromium

Primarily my VLC stops playing movies after a while of using PC (and I think it stops working after first youtube video in chrome... I have chromium with gtalk and google talk plugin, stackoverflow.com and youtube opened... and the only one that seems to me to be related to video is youtube).

VLC opens and runs audio but with no video.
In chromium, video runs just fine.
I think (I'm not sure) that first youtube video stops vlc/ffplay from working properly.
Further more, after setting video output to X11 instead of "Default" in VLC videos start playing again, but still no luck with ffplay.
Output device set to X11 works (although with some errors):

I have few mkv files and the result is the same.
ffplay -vn works, with video I get Major opcode of failed request: 151 (XVideo)
I've added output from VLC to original post with output out of different VLCs --vouts...

.mov files not showing video while using Quicktime Pro

Hi:
I'm trying to work with some .mov files that were created in DVCPRO HD format, which I understand is a Panasonic format. I've upgraded to Quicktime Pro 7.6.4 as instructed by the individual who created the .mov files. The problem is I get audio, but no video. I've also tried exporting these movie files to DV Stream and I get an error message that reads "qtKitErrorCatchAll(-8961)."

The file was made by someone using Final Cut Studio?
A white playback means the codec used in the file is missing on the machine trying to view it.
Ask them to send you a version exported using H.264 video codec.

Aperture doesn't show video imported from Canon 5D Mk 3

When I'm importing video to Aperture 3 from Canon 5D Mk 3, the files show up in Aperture with black screen. Sound is OK and the duration is unchanged but there's no image. In Finder, Quicktime and for example After Effects the video shows up normally so I can convert it to other formats, but that way it's more complicated than it should be.
Also, when using Compressor to convert the files the end result is the same. Haven't tried to import the videos to Final Cut Pro X yet... Has this happened to anyone else and what can I do to fix this? I tried to import a file to my girlfriend's Aperture 3 and it worked normally there.

Safari doesn't show iweb audio files - help

Just created my first iWeb site and it has a page with 1 minute samples of music. I tested these with Firefox and Safari both before and after publishing to the web and all seemed OK. When I tried today, Safari doesn't display the files at all whereas Firefox works fine.

I now find that the browsers on my iMac (Firefox and Safari) both show/play the audio samples on http://www.smoothnoodles.co.uk/smoothnoodles/Samples.html, whereas on my MacBook Pro, only Firefox does. Safari doesn't even display the files
Is there some setting in Safari that determines whether certain file types are loaded/displayed? Both browsers are Safari 5.1.7 and OS is 10.6.8 on both machines.

AirPlay doesn't show videos or photos through iPad 2)

Having just bought iPad 2, I then replaced my original Apple TV with the new model because I wanted to use AirPlay. But find I can only play music on my TV, music-only for YouTube videos and no AirPlay icon on photos. How do I use AirPlay through iPad? So far it seems I have wasted my money in buying newest Apple TV.

If AirPlay doesn't seem to be working like it should from an iOS device (this happened to me yesterday morning), try taking these steps:
1) Be sure that your iOS devices and your computer(s) running iTunes are all connected to the same local network.
2) Restart the Apple TV 2 device by disconnecting its power cable and then reconnecting it.
3) Restart your local network router.
4) Restart your iOS device by holding down the On/Off button until the power off option appears, turn it off, and then turn it on again.

Nokia Video Manager doesn't show video after 35min...

I think this has been posted before, but does any1 have a solution for this yet? Whenever the converted MP4 file reaches 35mins 45sec, the video freezes for a few seconds on the phone, the screen goes black, but the audio continues. I am using Nokia Video Manager to convert AVI files to MP4. I'm using version 1.5.20, which i believe is the latest version of the video manager software. I have tried 3 or 4 different AVI files, so the problem is not the original file, which is viewable on the PC without any problems. I have a Nokia 6210 Classic phone.

Don't shoot AVCHD Lite. If you are going to shoot that then you'll need to use iMovie to edit and process it.
