FMW patching gets failing

Hi friends,
As a part of BIAPPS-ODI configuration, @ the step of Applying FMW patches biappshiphome patches is getting failed like in the final patching report im getting error like

Since only the above BIAPPSSHIPHOME patches is failing, but the remaining oracle common patching, ODI patching got succeeded. Im getting issue only with the above BIAPPSSHIPHOME patches.
When i tried to view the log file im getting the error like

The issue is been resolved, once after renaming the file patch_locked which is located in the path
C:\Middleware\Oracle_BI1\.patch_storage
Finally I got those biappshiphome patches applied successfully

Content Server URL Check is getting failed.

Hi,
We have Installed Content Server 6.4 on Windows Server 2008 (64 Bit OS) and IIS 7.0 with all the latest patches.
The sapinst log file shows that the Installation was successfull with no errors.
But, still URL check for Content server is getting failed.
URL which is used : http://<HOSTNAME>:<Port>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

Did you configure the following steps for the content server on the windows server for the IIS
Created one local user u201Cxxxxxxxu201D on the windows system.
Check that the password of the user on the windows should never expire.
In the authentication method select the options.
Integrated windows authentatication
Basis authentication.
Configure IIS for ContentServer & CacheServer and adjust Folder security options
Did you create any content reprosetry in OAC0 Transaction in the system which you want to link the Content server.

Actually when JDBC tries to connect database it get fails due to default timeout value is very less so to overcome from this problem pleas workaround with the soultion showing below and after i applied this changes Patch applied sucessfully .
set these parameter -
1. In server side sqlnet.ora file add
SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT
For e.g
SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT = 240
2. In listener.ora file -
INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT_<listenername> = 230
For e.g if the listener name is LISTENER then -
INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT_PROD = 230

Windows 7 X86 Update patch installation failed ("Updateshandler.log - Update execution failed")

Hi,
I am using SCCM 2007 R3 at client site, Since from Jan 2015 and for Feb 2015 also i am facing a problem in Windows 7 32bit OS Patch installation failure on Client PC. I am creating a bundle for Windows 7 OS Patch's and targeting these monthly patches to
windows 7 Collection having X86 and X64 bit OS.
From All the Deployed Patches only X64 bit Win 7 PC's are getting successfully Update.
BUT on all X86(32Bit) win 7 OS there was Installation Failed Error. The UPDATES are getting successfully downloaded in CACHE folder on client PC's but while installation they are getting failed. I have tried reinstalling SCCM Client on PC but problem persists.
Checked number of forum's and done WUA re-installtion as well, Tried downloading new patches for win7 32 bit and deployed again, but no +ve result. WSUS reconfigured and reinstalled and approved all patches again, again no solution.
Updates for all other OS's Like Win 8, 8.1 Server 2003,2008 and 2012 for X86 and C64 all working fine.
Updateshandler.log Giving :---- Update execution failed.
MP DP and all other roles are working fine with SUP role reinsalled.

1. We have tried downloading patch again & again . Try to push them trough SCCM targeting win7 collection having x-86 & x-64 bit OS.
2. Tried manual installation of . Cab files also on 10 win 7 x-86 PC's but all failing with error code.0x800706f7. This code shows The stub received bad data. In both cases (manual & SCCM )
3. Even tried downloading .MSU files for same KB article that also not getting installed
4. Monitored Windowsupdate.log & DISM.log & CBS.log
Handler Fatal: CBS called error with 0x800706f7
warning exit code=0x00000000; call error code=0x80240022
5. Tried renaming windir/Softwaredeployment folder to windir/Softwaredeployment.log & run SFC /Scannow
0x800706F7 -2147023113 RPC_X_Bad_Stub_Data This can occur after a control selfupdate that has not fully completed and requires a reboot. The controls may need to be reregistered.
This seems related to a problem within Windows, and ConfigMgr is not at fault - Windows has a severe issue which is affecting the servicing stack.

Patching Always Fails on One WS Type

Since I've implemented Patch Management in my organization I've cycled through several different workstation types, but recently I'm having trouble with this past year's computer model in that patching always fails.
What is happening is that I have narrowed the patching down to doing the individual machines (HP dc7900). I'll select the patches I want to push go through the wizard using default settings and force the restart. The deployment process will go successfully but the install/launches will fail.
In the reporting I'll get a remediate.exe failure with a Windows error: Unknown error (0xffffffff) on the bundle package. On the workstation I'll get notification messages for every patch in the bundle. Overall ZCM status reporting says that the package was successfully deployed but in actuality absolutely zero updates are applied.
This happens the same for every dc7900 in our building which were set up using the same process as dc5700 and two generations of dc5800 workstations that all patch successfully. Has anyone run into a similar situation? Thanks!

We make a new "source image" for each computer model that we have so different base images for the 5700, 5800 and 7900. All of our images are made with the same XP SP3 volume license and network deployed apps installed. The 57/5800 systems had Windows Updates enabled as "download and let me choose when to install" but with the 7900 we thought that we would be able to use Patch Management to deploy updates so on the image the updates were turned off, but we have since manually turned them back on to automatic to make sure they keep updating.
I did recently find out that this behavior also follows application bundles on these systems now. I usually deploy bundles as dynamic administrator but have read in another thread that deploying as system may cause less hassles but I haven't had a chance to test this yet.

I am still stuck on FF4. Not getting the 5.0 version installed for some reason.

When updating Mozilla, I get this message:

What should be done?

Hi,
The bursting program is getting failed. I configured the BI Publisher scheduler configuration. when i schedule a report it is delivering successfully , but when i burst it is getting failed. In the scheduler history it is showing the below message for all the delivery by the burst program.

     Status          Failed
     System Message
C:\DOCUME~1\SPALAN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\3\xdofQuBd3MglK093010_092711319109.fo (The system cannot find the path specified).
Do i need to create any TEMP folder similar to Xml publisher temp folder in ORACLE APPS that is used for bursting. Where can i check the Bi publisher Scheduler LOG file to know the error clearly.

Create a BI Publisher log folder where in you should be able to find the log information in xdo log file.
Here are the steps:
1.GOTO OraHome_1\Jdk\Jre\lib folder and create a file xdodebug.cfg
2.Enter following information in the file:
LogLevel = STATEMENT
LogDir = <Location of the log folder >
3.Save and close the xdodebug.cfg file
4.Restart OC4J services
5.Check if the Log folder mentioned in the cfg file is created.

Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'SAPLDSVAS_PROC' has to be
terminated.
Please suggest how to proceed further and provide your valuble inputs

What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_DSWP_SD_DIAGNOSE_CONSISTENTCP" had to be
terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An entry was to be entered into the table
"\CLASS=CL_DSWP_SD_DIAGNOSE_CONSISTENT\METHOD=CHECK_USERS_BP\DATA=LT_USCP"
(which should have
had a unique table key (UNIQUE KEY)).
However, there already existed a line with an identical key.
The insert-operation could have ocurred as a result of an INSERT- or
MOVE command, or in conjunction with a SELECT ... INTO.
The statement "INSERT INITIAL LINE ..." cannot be used to insert several
initial lines into a table with a unique key.
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY" " "
"CL_DSWP_SD_DIAGNOSE_CONSISTENTCP" or "CL_DSWP_SD_DIAGNOSE_CONSISTENTCM00M"
"CHECK_USERS_BP"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
