FNDLOAD -- Messages In French

Hi All,
I created a Oracle Message in one instance and downloaded the ldt file using fndload.
when I try to create the same message in another instance using fndload there are special characters added to the message. since it is a french message I guess some characters are not being dispalyed properly.
Please Advice if I have to follow certain steps.
my Message:
<TABLE border=1 cellpadding=2 cellspacing=1><font size="1" face="Ariel">
<tr><td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Article </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Description </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >Affectation à domaine fonctionnel </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Date de Notification </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Statut </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >Due Date </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >ECO Number</td></tr>
fndload script:
FNDLOAD $APPS_USER 0 Y UPLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/afmdmsg.lct XXBOL_INV_302_ITEM_ATTRB_MSG_F.ldt - UPLOAD_MODE=NLS WARNINGS=TRUE CUSTOM_MODE=FORCE
Message in other instance once it is uploaded using fndload:
<TABLE border=1 cellpadding=2 cellspacing=1><font size="1" face="Ariel">
<tr><td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Article </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Description </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >Affectation omaine fonctionnel </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Date de Notification </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" > Statut </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >Due Date </td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFF00" >ECO Number</td></tr>

Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions on both source and target systems, along with the characterset of the two databases.

  • [Xerces] How to get SAXParseException messages in french

    Hi,
I m using Xerces to validate XML documents against XSD schemas.
All goes fine. This API is really good. However, I can’t get SAXParseException messages in French (I m a French developer).
Is there any way to get those messages in french ?? I m on this problem since 4 days, and I really need some help.
    Thank you in advance.

Just add the 'admin' mailbox as additional account in Outlook, as opposed to additional mailbox (i.e. don't add it from Accounts Settings -> More settings -> Advanced, but from File -> Add account instead).
It will then show flagged items and tasks from all accounts in the 'To-do' list.

  • Error while using APEX_LANG.MESSAGE in French translated application

We have an multilingual application (item preference) with English as primary language and French and Spanish as translated versions. The application has been seeded, translated and published and it switches correctly between languages. Except when APEX_LANG.MESSAGE is used in French.
APEX_LANG.MESSAGE renders correctly texts in English and Spanish but in French it throws the following error
ORA-06550: Ligne 1, colonne 7 : PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "<" when expecting one of the following: ( begin case declare exit for goto if loop mod null pragma raise return select update while with <identificateur> <identificateur entre guillemets> <variable attachée (bind variable)> << continue close current delete fetch lock insert open rollback savepoint set sql execute commit forall merge pipe purge
This is the code that we use
    l_msg := APEX_LANG.MESSAGE(p_name => 'INTRO_TEXT', p0 => l_para0, p_lang => v('FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE'));
    sys.htp.prn(l_msg);
I don't think the error comes from our code since the Spanish and English work as expected. I have tried all combination of calling the procedure to no avail.
We are running Oracle version 11.1 with APEX 4.0.1 and 4.0.2
System languages French and Spanish have been loaded
Thanking you in advance for your help

    Hi Haritha,
the address to PI webservice must be in the format: http://<hostname>:<port>/ XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet? channel=
    <party>:<service>:<channel>
    Eg: <soap:address location="http://h03kyq:51000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:SDDS_DEV:ssReadSddsAddress" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"/>
Do you have access to PI? If so you can derive the webservice address url in there.
    Regards, William.

  • I used my iphone to send a message in French. I have changed the settings back to English but when I send a text or write a message it still thinks I am typing in French. Any suggestions?

Any thoughts on how to resolve the above ? Namely I went into settings changed the language to French. Sent a message to soemone in France in French. Went back to settings selected British English. Reset the phone into English, But it still thinks it is 'French' when sending a message or text. Have gone back to settings tried to reset the keyboard to original factory settings. No joy. Switched the phone on and off. No joy, It still assumes it is French when sending a text or email even though the settings are all set for English. Any suggestions on  how to resolve tbis ???

Amazing response. Unbelievably fast. Totally helpful. Totally
    accurate.
    A thousand thanks

  • Translated headstart messages in French and German

    Hi,
Does anyone have the Headstart65 messages translated in French and German?
    Many thanks,
    Stefan

    Hi,
You can maintain the translations for the messages using the transaction SE91.You can create the messages using English language 'EN' and maintain the translation in other languages.
Using the menu path GOTO -> Translation, you can specify the translations for any language by selecting the desired language from the drop down list.
Hope this helps. Please get back in case of any clarification needed.

  • Since passing to ML, I have a message, in French, which is: La connexion au serveur a échoué. Les URL de type "file" ne sont pas prises en charges.  Can you tell me what this means and how to get rid of it? thank you.

    What does this message mean?
La connexion au serveur a échoué.  Les URL de type "file" ne sont pas prises en compte.
    thank you.

Without more information, ie what were you trying to do when you got this message, it is very hard to answer your question. If you were trying to access a webpage it means the server the page is on had a problem. If you were doing something else please post back and someone may have the answer.

  • My printer's error messages are in French.

How do I change the printer's language from French to English.  I had a problem with the flashing on/off button and a message in French that there was a paper jam.  There was no jam, and the printer would run paper through blank. Eventually, I solved this problem by pretending there was a paper jam, unplugging the USB cable, opening the back, and then replacing.  However, the printer's messages are still in French, which I don't read so well.  Funny thing is this printer Deskjet 3320 was made in Mexico.

Associate your mobile number with your Apple ID, if you haven't already done so.
Sign out of iMessage on the Mac: Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out.
Sign out on the iPhone: Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out.
Then tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage.
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test.

How can I get messages sent in English.

I saw that your question hasn't been answered yet.
    Go to:

Sign in with your Apple ID and on the left hand column the last item is "Language and Contact Preferences"
You'll be able to change your "Preferred Language" there. As soon as you begin typing the choices will apear.

  • French language messages.

My forms created with Designer 7.0 are working fine. My users are using Reader 7 and 8. My problem is some of the users are French and are of course receiving the standard Acrobat messages: "Data typed into this form will not be saved..." etc.
I have seen that you can set the locale and language for text fields etc. Perhaps a silly question but is there a way to get Acrobat to give its standard messages in French? Or will they have to do an install of a French version of Reader?
    Thanks.

Try a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
    *(32 bit Windows) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
    *(64 bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 18.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

I've emailed the fissues mailbox with some details of my symptoms with this issue, including some collected data from the IE F12-DevTools/Network capture (in the hope it is helpful to diagnosis).

We have escalated the issue to the engineering team.
We will let you know once we have updates from the team.

  • Texct for selection screen not printing in french

    Hello,
I have a program that when the french run it, on the selection screen, the name, not the text from the slelection text is displaying on the screen however when the report is generated, the column headings appear in french so I am not sure the problem is. I am not sure where to look to correct this problem. if someonw could please help me , it would be appreciated,
    thanks...

when I log on with the FR language and go to se38 and select the "test elements" and click display I get a pop-up with the following message in french which translates to
"not translated texts of the source language are integrated by IT"
when you click in the question mark icon, you get the following
"At the time of the posting of elements of text in the language of posting, the system found texts which existed in the source language but not in the working language. These texts are also posted in the source language (according to table TADIR) in view. In the screen of posting, these texts which do not come from the pool of texts of the working language are indicated by the posting of the key of the source language."
when you get past that, the first tab "text sysmbols" displays everything in English. I am thinking that is why I am getting the messages. the second tab "selection texts" displays everything in french.
when you are coding a program that you know will be used by other languages, are  there certain things that you do in order to not have these problems?
