Focus on browser at inbox refresh

Hi Experts,
do you know how to inhibit the automated setting of the focus on the browser window of the workflow inbox, every time a refresh of the inbox is done w/o user interaction?
It is about the SRM workflow inbox (integrated inbox).
We use
SRM 5.00, SRM_SERVER 5.50 sp level 7
SAP_BASIS, 7.00, SP level 11
Integrated ITS
MS Internet Explorer 6.0

I checked for the 8911 errors. I am getting about 20-30 per day.
I added the --udpslap in the startup file about a month ago, at that time it was over 300 per day.
I verified the spelling and placement of the udpslap and it is OK.
(also I am using SLES 11 sp3 GW 12.0.2 and it is Virtual using VMWare 5.5.0 Build 1300321 )

Open up your poa web console, go to log files, select all and enter 8911
as the search criteria, click on View Events. The resultant list will
show you if you are experiencing this error. It affects communication
between your clients and the poa. In fact, mail may not appear in the
inbox until F5 is pressed, or it appears only after a couple of
minutes.
To resolve the error, open up your poa startup file and go to the end of
it. Before it says ====End Of File==== and the following switch:
--udpslap
The above is the Linux switch, just adjust it if your system is on
Windows. As far as I am aware you do need to do a restart on the POA.

Agent Inbox Refresh

Hello experts,
I have a requeriment for an agent inbox in CRM 7.0, i need to refresh automatically the inbox.
I reviewed the BAdI: Agent Inbox, but i don´t find a method to do this.
How i can do this?

Hi Miguel,
I think you cannot achieve this with server programming (BAdI, etc...). To force regular inbox refresh you need to program it on the client:
You will have to add some javascript code (function setTimeout, invoking the inbox search button automatically at regular time intervals) in the view that handles inbox search.

Browser wont automatically refresh

Im sorry if this has already been addressed anywhere, I looked around but did not find much on the problem.
After trying to turn on javascript on my browser today (resulted in a locked up phone) web pages no longer refresh automatically. I tried turning off javascript but no luck. I still have to refresh the page manually to see updates.
Ive had this problem with my PC before, but can not remember how I fixed it.
Go easy on my, im new to smart phones and specifically the 8330

Opening/focusing new/existing window with refreshed data

hi ,
I want to open the results in a new browser window with current requested data as soon as I click on a button from a jsp.I mean as soon as I click on a button if the new window is already opened then the opened window should be get focused with refreshed current data, if the new browser window is not already opened then clicking on button from jsp should open a new window with refreshed data.
Following both ways are not working proper, could you tell me whts wrong with it..?

with this code new window is opening but if I minimize that new window and if I click on a button jsp with new querry values, the same opened window is getting focused but not with new results in that window. I.e results in window are not getting refreshed ....

JApplet in browser doesn't refresh

Hi -
I'm putting together an applet which currently contains only a few JButtons in a container. When the browser is minumized and then maximized, the buttons do not redisplay. Functionally, they're still there (they respond if I click in the right place), but they don't show up.
What technique to I need to use to refresh the browser window? Is there a FAQ?

Bug:File Browser Doesn't refresh

One a directory is opened in the file browser, it can't be refreshed without restarting sqldeveloper.
1 Open a directory in the file browser.
2 Create an additional file in the directory outside of sqldeveloper
3 Try to make the new file appear.
Closing and opening the directory doesn't work
Clicking on what looks like a refresh button (two arrows ina circle) doesn't work.

I cannot confirm this, everything works fine for me...
What JDK are you using?
I am runnin 1.5.1.5440 with JDK 6 Update 6...
Although now that I look at the file browser it has incredibly limited functionality (context menu). A READ-Only File Browser? Come on...

Inbox Refresh

On GW 12.0.2 I have a user that when an email is sent to them and if Refresh is not performed, it takes approximately 8 min to display in the Mailbox.
Anytime F5 is pressed the mail displays and it does show the message as arriving at a reasonable time (usually Under 1 min of sending)
The issue is it is Not automatically showing on the Client unless F5 is pressed or wait 8 minutes or more.
I checked Environment, the Refresh interval is 1 min.

Firefox browser must be refreshed to log into and log out of Simple Machine Forum. No other browser does this.

I run a Simple Machines Forum (SMF) Whenever I log in or out of my forum using Firefox (Ver 4.0.1) my browser gets "hung up." As soon as I type username, password, and hit enter the forum goes to a white screen that just sits there. To force the page to load I have to hit refresh in my browser. The page then loads and I'm able to go on as usual. The same exact scenario happens when I try to log out of my forum. I hit logout and the page goes to the white screen. It sits there until I hit refresh in the browser and then it will log me out. This does not happen with logging in or out of the forum with any other browser. I've tested this issue in Internet Explorer, Safari, and Chrome. Logs me in and out with no issues. With Firefox I get stuck. Asked for help on the SMF forum. Other users have reported having this issue as well. Was advised to rename the forum cookie. Did that and it has not helped. I do believe the issue is with my particular install of Firefox. Any help would be appreciated.

You can check for problems with preferences.
Rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Also make sure that your security software isn't blocking JavaScript.

Media Browser doesn't refresh Aperture images

This just started happening recently. The old behaviour was -- iWeb is already open, I open Aperture, add images, and the media browser in iWeb would pick up the new images within a few seconds.
Now the only way I can get the media browser to show the new images is to exit and restart iWeb.
Any way to get the automatic media browser refresh working again?

Safari Browser won't refresh on iPhone

I am using safari on an iPhone 5S. I am trying to look at a web site that changed within the last 12 hours. The safari browser still shows the old web site. I click on the refresh icon next to the url, but it won't load the new version of the web site.
I go to the same website on my laptop and my wife's iPhone 5S. In both cases, I get the new version of the site.

Alright. If it is displaying correctly on your wife's phone but not yours, it is not a Safari bug, it is something specific to your device.
I understand your frustration, but using all caps to highlight something is not necessary. That is considered rude and yelling. I'm trying to help here. Also, I would consider it far from serious, just irritating.
If the settings on your device mirror those on your wife's, then I would say if deleting cookies didn't help, then the next step would be a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. If that does not do it, the next step is a restore. You can restore from a backup first. Backup your phone, sync it via iTunes, then click on the restore from backup button. After that is done, see if that helps. If not, the last troubleshooting step is restore as new, or not from a backup. This will put a fresh install of iOS on the device, and without adding anything else, test the website. See if this corrects your issue. If it does, then try loading the backup onto the device again. If it will no longer work, then there is something corrupt in your backup that is causing this.

Browser continues to refresh...anyone have a solution?

Last night I attempted to do a Google search on my Droid Charge. When I pulled up the Browser where Google is the home page, the page continues to refresh on its own, not allowing me to enter anything in the search line. I have already both restarted the device and, when that didn't work, pulled the battery and it continues to do this. Any fixes? I would rather not have to go to the Verizonwireless store and have them look at it. Of interest is that one of my "apps" is just a link to the web and I am able to get to that site and it works.
After reading a number of other posts on this area I can only hope that my next phone will be less trouble than this one has been. Unfortunately, it is not due until 2/2013.

I finally looked at a few other posts, cleared history and cache and it has been working well (or as well as it has been recently). I find that occasionally I can not get any reception even though it indicates there is a 4G network and that there is ongoing data exchange. Then the application (either the browser or the Xfinify app) will time out for lack of a network. I am not sure whether that is due to network outage or of the NETWORK not being connected to the Internet.

CSS Browse Tab When Refresh Page Changes Size and Jumps to Right Size

I'm styling a site and I must have changed something I shouldn't have.
Issue: When I click on the refresh page, the "Browse" tabe in the ribbon on the home page jumps smaller and then back to right size when the page loads. Anyone have any ideas what could be the culprit?
If I click on the tabs the size remains static, this only happens when I refresh the page.
It's really bugging me, any help much appreciated.

This could be related to the "caret browsing" feature, which moves the cursor through the page when you scroll with the arrow key. Or maybe in this case skips around things in the page.
You can turn that using either:
* F7 key
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General mini-tab > ''uncheck'' the box for "Always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages"
Any luck?

DMP 4400 Browser Command for refreshing Currently Playing URL

Looking for a "SET" command that will allow me to refresh the "Currently Playing URL" without rebooting the DMP.
I need a refresh BROWSER URL command so that Users do NOT have to repush unique individual Presentations when making a change to a shared / referenced Playlist, but rather have the ability to select a single System Task that would issue the refresh Browser URL command.
I'm aware of the following command, but this requires the specific URL to be known, which defeats the purpose of having a general URL refresh command:
http://<dmp_ip>:7777/set_param?mng.command=start+video+<URL>
Anybody know if other param / syntax options exist for accomplishing this task?

I went as far as disassembling the sysmng binary and I found a number of features I hadn't known about the existence of before, but nothing that I can clearly identify as causing a refresh.
I've been trying to get my hands on a development reference or something because there are probably more than 100 functions and I only know what several dozen of them do. Then there are differences between the 4310/4400 presentation mechanisms. Sounds like I need to power on a 4400 and poke around at it.
The approach we're using on the 4310 is to load a local page stored on the DMP in file://tmp/ftproot/usb_1 , and that happens to be a .swf flash template that listens to remote commands to refresh or reload or do whatever we want to it. We control it as an interactive function of the .swf itself rather than via sysmng commands.
So for us, the second command below to reload always points to the same file://xxxxx path and we don't need to independently determine the playback URL.
Another idea would be to point the playback URL to file://xxxxxx/file.html and have that frame or refresh external content. But then you would have to manage "file.html" on the DMP and execute the second refresh command below. You say that server side execution isn't going to work for you, but perhaps scp/sftp of a file containing the presentation URL would work for you instead?
Or... say, using the sysmng function to execute a wget command, to stage file.html on the DMP's file system? Have never tried that but that goes to illustrate that there are a lot of different ways to accomplish something on the player.
If I find a better answer about a built in function being a /better/ way to accomplish that (or if I stumble on something unique to the 4400) I will let you know.

How to pause stage/swf with audio when a new tab is opened/ out of focus in browser

I have created a container in Flash Professional CS5 for my project’s CBT. I’ve been able to script many of the features we require using AS3, but there are a couple of things I’m still trying to work out.
I would like the swf presently playing in one tab to pause and go silent when another swf is opened in a new tab (the sound is inside this externally loaded swf which is loaded inside a movie clip from buttons nested a movie clip down). I’ve tried :

This function is present when I publish the CBT with Captivate, so obviously there must be code available. You can set the Captivate button to open url in new window and pause movie.
Is there something I can add to the html file that is similar to the “has Priority” for mobile devices or is there javascript that can be added to the flash itself?

You would send a command to Flash from JavaScript when window.onblur event occurs.

My browser pages keep refreshing on their own about every 5-10 min what can I do to stop this?

I had to replace my my hard drive. Since I replaced it and re-installed FireFox my web pages refresh on their own about every 5-10 min. Also as I am typing sometimes the cursor will jump to a prior point so I am typing in the middle of a word or whatever happens to be there. Is this a problem with my re-install or is there a setting some where that I don't know about? This happens every day.

In case anyone has this same issue ... my iPhone did stop doing this on its own. I can't tell you anything other than to keep trying. It took about two days, but it eventually allowed me to enter the information without resetting.
