Focusing in on a specific moving area of a video

Hi,
1. Is it possible to focus in on a specific moving area of a video?
For example a ship sailing on the sea. Is it possible to mark an area around the ship, and have the marked area move with the ship while excluding the rest of the video so only the close up of the ship is visible at all times?
2. Is it possible to stretch / speed-up video footage of a live band performance; to sync it with the audio of a studio recorded version of the song?

For the "cropping," there are at least two ways to do this easily, though with different visual results:
Apply the Crop Effect to the necessary sides of the Source Footage Clip, but this will leave black bars around the edges of the Video's frame.
Adjust the Source Footage Clip's Fixed Effects>Motion>Scale (to Zoom), and Motion>Positin (to Pan to where you wish), and let the Project's Frame Size effectively crop the area, that extends beyond it. The possible limitation with this method is that if one Scales too much, the image will degrade in quality, but a little will most likely never be noticed.
Both methods allow one to Keyframe the Effects over time, which might be desired.

Stop Depreciation for a specific Dep Area

I am able to stop depreciation for a specific period. My requirement is to stop depreciation for a specific Depriciation Area -01. My client has 4 dep area's (01,02 & ..). Depriciation has stopped in both the depriciation areas (01&02). I had activated Asset shut down and increased the useful life only for Dep Area 01 & not Dep area 02. Both Dep Ar. 01 & 02 use the same Dep Key. Client requirement is Dep has to be stopped for a specific period and specific Dep Area(01). I had stopped dep for a specific period but this has stopped for both the dep area's (01&02)..
Is there a solution to the above. Please let me know if any.

Check by marking indicator D-Default value from company code and depreciation area in definition of depreciation key in AFAMA.

Files that were moved are still displaying in old location.

I was recently doing some reorganization of some files in my iCloud account in Finder (In the iCloud tab). When I went to sign into iCloud.com the next day and go to iCloud Drive, for some reason the images that I had moved the day before were still in their old locations. The day before, I also rearranged some folders and made some new ones. Those were updated when I went to iCloud.com, but the images were still there. Here are some screen shots showing what my Finder looks like versus iCloud.com, as of right now. (I do realize that there are some extra apps displayed in iCloud.com, but just ignore those. Notice the images, like the first two listed on the screen)
Notice the extra images on iCloud.com. Anybody know why this is happening? (I tried clearing my cache and cookies, but with no avail)

Ok,
I solved it. For some reason when I moved the event folder it created a second event folder in iMovie. This second event folder seemed to be overriding, or not allowing the original event folder to be read. So I moved all of the video files out of the original event folder and moved them to the new event folder.
It's currently re-generating thumbnails for all the videos but this seems to have solved the problem.

Country specific Dep Area

Hi All,
If there are two depreciation areas say 01 and 10 and 01 dep. area is my Book Dep area and 10 dep area is my country dep area.
So now when i run the dep posting, should the dep be posted to both the dep areas.
I am aware of how to configure this technically, but i need to understand the process - how do we post the dep in the country specific dep area.

As SAP only one depreciation area can be real (posting) and other depreciation area are normally for reporting purpose. But, we ca have a derived depreciation area which is deemed as real depreciation are which can be posted.

Derived depreciation is suppose 51 which (DA-01 less DA-10)
In this case you can deem depreciation area 51 as country specific depreciation area.

i want to transfer Planning Data of a SOP Version for a single material to Demand Management.
The copy to Demand is run directly into the plant of the SOP Version.
I manage MRP Area.
How can I transfer directly SOP to PIR for a specific mrp area ?

In MC87 you have to first create planning data.. SOP.
Then if you go to MC74 your planning data will be transferred..
Ii.e you will get the PIRs automatically from Demand management..

Is it possible to block a billing document from 'releasing to accounting' for a specific sales area?
Posting block on the billing type is not an option since the billing type will be used in other sales areas.

In our business scenario there are two different chart of depreciation which are Spain and Morocco. Spain has currency EUR and Morocco has MAD. Spain asset CWIP process has done successfully but Morocco has the problem found. While doing actual settlement through KO88 for CWIP asset settlment, one error is being occured as "There is an error in the specifications for area 01 in ch.of dep.

Diagnosis
You specified that depreciation area 01 should take over values or depreciation terms from itself. This specification is incorrect.
Procedure
Correct the specifications for area 01.

It seems you have kept 01 as TTr in OABD for depreciation area 01
If the 01 is real depreciation area, do as below
Go to OABD
Depreciation area - 01
TTr should be 00 (You should not keep anything other than 00 here)

Can we hide a specific subject area in answers for few users. I want to expose a particular subject area for only 2 users out of 10 . Right now if i expose it all 10 ppl with answers access will see that subject area. can i hide it for the other 8 without removing their answers access.

Well, with a PPC Mac you can upgrade as far as Firefox 3.6.19 if you upgrade from Tiger OSX 10.3.9 to Leopard OSX 10.5, but Firefox doesn't support PPC architecture in the latest Firefox 4, 5, and 6.0 versions.

Depreciation run for specific depreciation area

Hi,
In AA, we defined 2 depreciation area for all the assets class, one for local(01), another one for group(30). all the area will be posted to FI.
according to requirement, we would like to stop specific depreciation area depreciation run for certain asset(not asset class). this means that for depreciation area 01, it will be work, but for 30, it should be stopped. may be 3 months later, this asset will be restart run depreciation for area 30.
Would anyone know how to do that? thanks.

Hope you have to change the Config settings then.
Go to AO21 and select your screen layout and double click Field Group rules and under FG 18 you have Deactiv. area make this enrty optional and also select the check box MnNo.
Save the entry.
Come back to AS02,now the dep area will be available for deactivation.

Consolidation process at a specific consolidation area level

We are implementing SEM BCS 4.0.
In this release is possible to work with original financial statements in all the perimeter and also consider the manual adjustments only in each consolidation unit/area individually. That is, we donu2019t want to use the cascade consolidation process (postings at a lower consolidation area level are updated/considered at upper consolidation area) because we only want that each adjustment only affects the specific consolidation area and not the upper ones.
Is this possible? We do not know any configuration to have this method available in this release.

For me it's a little bit strange requirement. In order to achieve this you just do not need the consolidation system at all.
If you, anyway, use the BCS system, then use the flat cons units hierarchy: a fictitious head with all your units underneath. Do whatever operations you need and do not use reporting from the head, only from the units.

Try to reset Network setting thru (Setting/General/Reset/Reset Network Setting - after clicking on it the phone will ask to reboot)
According to my R&D I have experienced that one must reset the network each time when we r at home or in office or other places, the phone after resetting the network setting acquires the area specific network setting n works well, try it & if any other solution do let me known
Calling up customer care did not help me, they do keep us in a loop with the same old answeres that “Our technical team is working on it & WILL GET BACK TO u” leaving us with no solution at the end

Do not retire a specific depreciation area

Hello All,
I have a requirement not to post any retirement on a specific depreciation area. I know that we can limit transaction on specific depreciation areas. But I wonder if there is some configuration other thatn limiting transaction type to post on specific depreciation area.
