  • Adobe Presenter 9 navigation to webpage was canceled when click email hyperlink

    Windows 7, IE 10, Adobe Presenter 9
I have an email hyperlink created in PPT/Presenter that works fine within PPT.  However, when I publish the course to My Documents and view the presentation, once I click the email hyperlink, it opens an email but opens an additional window..."Navigation to webpage canceled".  It reacts this same way when published to our LMS.  The user will need to close the extra window, which may cause confusion.  Our IT department has looked at my IE security settings and I have set my flash security settings to "allow" for My Documents folder.  I went back to a similar course I created a couple of years ago, but I do not receive this message when I click the hyperlink.  I was using an older version of Presenter at that time.
Has anyone experienced this same issue and had a resolution?

    Hi,
    Could you perform the followings:
Make sure there're no duplicate records in the DNS Servers
Flush your DNS Cache at the Server & Client
Refresh any DNS Cache at the HLB (if any)
When the error appears, right click on the console and provide a screenshot on this
If you suspect that FE1 is the culprit, had you tried turning it off and monitor the situation?
    Thanks!

  • NW7.0 - Webpage Composer and JIVE - How do I create blogs?

    Hi there,
We are working on NW7.0 and I've been playing around with both the Webpage Composer (wpc) and Jive. They both look fine and we are looking forward to implement some of all the nice features.
But I still have one missing piece of functionality, and that is the BLOG functionality.
If I looked into the capabilities of JIVE (on their website), and as far as I can tell, the only thing integrated into NW7.0 is the Jive Forums (http://www.jivesoftware.com/products/forums/), and they do not contain any Blog functionality.
Then I've looked deep into WPC and found some files in the /etc/wpceditor/styles folder and found some XSL files named "wpc_weblog_comment.xsl", which could lead me into believing that there is some Blogging functionality in WPC. WPC should be or is said to be the same tool as the one used on SDN, and here the Blogging functionality is available.
    So my question is:
    1. Is there a blog capability in NW7.0 either via WPC or JIVE?
2a. If there is, where is the documentation?
2b. If there isn't, when is it expected to be released?
Please bring me out of the dark................

Create a database table with 3 columns
    Country
    ToRate
    FromRate
    Populate these values as appropriate.
Create two drop down menus on your page; FromRate and ToRate.  Populate these with the values (Display value and rate) from the table.
    Then, you could either:
    1) Submit the form to a server side script that adds and displays the values
    2) Use Javascript to add and display the values

  • Show folder navigation when using Save As

I'm working on a video project that involves resizing photos of varrying size to a standard video resolution. I've created a new document with one of the preset video file sizes and I'm dragging and dropping files from their folder into the open document, resizing them, making color adjustments and then saving the .psd file back into the folder they belong. The issue is that I have over 50 directories and when I do a Save As I have to back out of the last directory used and scroll down the list to get to the correct directory to save the image in the correct folder.
Is there a way to show the same folder navigation panel in Photoshop that you see in a standard explorer window? This would allow me to switch directories with one click instead of having to back out, scroll down and then select the next folder.
I'm using Windows as my OS.

No, PS only uses the simplified file dialogs. There is no way to change that.

  • WebPage Composer Requirements

    Hi all,
for the maintenance of an information portal we use the SAP WebPage Composer 7.0 and the SAP Knowledge Management. With these components we've been able to implement some of the requirements, but not all of them. We have especially requirements on the WebPage Composer and we like to know, whether these requirements are realizable with the SAP Standard or not.
    Requirements:
    - To integrate an IView (WebDynPro Application) with a link into a WebPage Composer article: how can we communicate data of the article - like author and title -  over the URL to the IView?
    - Can we set with the KM-Repository-Service "Lifetime (TBP Service)"validities for websites as with the article, so that websites, whose validity is expired, are invisible?
    - Is there a possibility for a so-called "fast entry" for the article, so that producer can create article faster and publish/embed the article faster on a website over one ui-interface?
    - Is there a possibility to print several articles of a website and not completely the whole website?
    - Is there a possibility to grade the articles, so that the latest article is the first one at the website?
    Best regards,
    Alexander Graf

  • Folder navigation in ZEN and ZEN MX

I have a question about the ZEN and ZEN MX players. Is there folder navigation(such as that in windows explorer) or are the songs sorted by Artist, Album, etc.?

The Zen is a wonderful player. If you store the songs inside the player, it would support ID3 tagging browsing. However if you want to browse by Folder put the songs in your SD card and use the 'Memory Card' option to view the songs via folders.

  • Links in WebPage Composer

    Dear All,
I am using Webpage composer to design the homepage for portal.
I have a Link in Cell A1. When the enduser click the link , it should open in the Cell B1.
The main points, I need to use 3 column layout (A,B,C)with B  as Content Area.
Is it possible? If so , please let me know how to acheive this?
    Regards,
    Eben Joyson

    Hi Eben,
You can do this, but you'll need to do some javascripting.
Make sure B1 has an iFrame with a certain id, let's say id=b1.
Then make sure when clicking the link, that the src attribute of the iFrame B1 is set to the page you want to open.

    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
The installation of the Web Page Composer is currently described in SAP Note 1080110.
Usage type EP(Enterprise Portal) with Knowledge Management is a prerequisite (at least SP13).
Before using the WPC, you need to run through a set of configuration steps: [WPC Initial Configuration|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/45/3fea9ff34d4a18e10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm]
    Hope this helps!

  • Using Articles in WEBPAGE COMPOSER

    Hi Experts,
In WEBPAGE COMPOSER , I am unable to add Articales, When I am trying to drag the article into the container area, it is showing the error cursor symbol .
    Can anybody help me ?
    Suresh.

    Suresh,
    1. With regards to article
That is how the functionality of WPC so far has been, probably going forward, there might be changes to it, if SAP feels necessary. Also, if you want to customize it, you will have to create your own custom layouts.
    Refer to this.
Web Page Composer - Web Page Layout (Part IV)
    2. Not more than 20 lines in paragraph.
It is also the functionality of the product and might be changed in the future.
If you are looking at more than 20 lines, I would suggest you to use the article instead( that is how i dealt with it while working on it)
If your questions are answered, please close the thread and reward points if handy.

  • How to present a Webpage composer content to an end user

    Hi Gurus,
please give me solution to this.
how to present an article created in WPC to an end user with proper permission settings.
    Thanks & Regards
        Vipin

    Vipin,
Following would be some key stpes in order to publish article created in WPC to end user.
    1. Create a WebSite
Navigate to one of the following folders as appropriate
    To create a Web site: /Web Content/Sites
To create a subordinate Web site: /Web Content/Sites/<MyWebSite>
You must create all Web sites in the folder structure beneath /Web Content/Sites
    2. Create Web Component
    Navigate to /Sites/WPC Site/Web Page
    3. Web Page will appear under Sites/WPC Site/Web Pages
    4. Adding Web Content (e.g. article) to Web Page
Right click on WPC Page and choose Edit Page.User will be presented with default layout of Web Page. This can be changed according to requirements. To Add content, place cursor on pencil icon ( ) and choose Add.Navigate to a folder containing shared content (for example, Site Content), or create new Web content to be displayed exclusively on this page.In the Web content browser, click the icon for an item and use Drag &Drop to drag it into container.
    5. Publishing Web Pages
Go to the /Web Content/Sites/WPC Site/Site Navigation folder
    Choose New --> Navigation Node.
    Publish the site navigation structure.
Go to the /Web Content/Sites/WPC Site folder.
From the context menu for the Site Navigation folder, choose Publish Site Navigation.
In the Web Page Composer, navigate to the Web site that you want to integrate into the portal navigation, and open the Site Navigation folder there. To copy the path of the navigation.wpc file to the clipboard, choose Copy Path from the context menu for the file.
Choose Content Administration --> Portal Content
Open a role for editing and create a folder in that role, beneath which you want to display the navigation structure of the Web site. Select the folder beneath which you want to display the navigation structure of the Web site. Choose the Navigation property category. For the property External Connector, enter the prefix wpcnavigation:// and insert the path from the clipboard.
The Web site is contained in the role immediately once you have saved it.
    ~Cheers,
    Vivek

  • Navigation in Visual composer

    Hi,
I am very new to visual composer. i have two issues.
    1.  I have an RFC to execute in Visual composer, the Input form of RFC to be shown as a first view, once he click on submit, i need to navigate to another view which will show the result as an table.
I am able to execute the RFC , by showing the input form and table in the same page.but i need to navigate to the table view after submit.
I dont want to use the navigations like wizard, accordian or tab.....
    2. My RFC Out put is a table and an export parameter of type Flag ('x' or ' ') , based on this export parameter i need to hide/display some of the table columns.
    Regards,
    Naga

    Hi,
    1. For the first requirement you need to have two layers in your model.
In the first layer put your input form and in the second layer put your table view. Now connect these two layer, to connect click on the fist layer you will get a small green circle on the top of that layer click on the green circle and drag till there is a connection between two layers.
Once you have connected the layers you need to select the event for that connection, this event should be the submit. i.e. when ever you press submit in input form there will be a navigation to second layer.
    2. For this you need to select the cofiguration for table view, in the table view select those field you need to hide based on the flag and set a condition in the display properties to hide that particular column.
before this you need to store the value of the flag in a form which is hidden.
    hope this helps,
    Rk.

  • Link to javadoc doc folder in your webpage

    Hi all,
I'm new to iWeb. I have a folder named "doc" filled with html pages that has been produced as an API for my project through Eclipse. My question , I created a new site and I want to add a hyperlink to this folder to show the project API.
    Thank you,
    Savanna
    P.S.:
Here is an examlple of an API site : http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/TreeSet.html

Not to a local folder. Files need to be published to a server.
You can do this on your Mac. Open System Preferences and click on "Sharing". Check "Web Sharing" to set this up. From Mac Help...
Sharing a website on your computer
You can use the Apache web server software included with Mac OS X to host a website on your computer. Before doing so, you should already know how to create HTML pages and build websites.
To host a website on your computer:
Use the HTML editor of your choice to create your website. For your site’s homepage, use the filename “index.html” so that web browsers can locate and open it automatically.
Put all of your website’s pages, graphics, and any media files in your home directory’s Sites folder. The existing index.html page will be replaced with your new index.html page.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Sharing.
    Select the Web Sharing checkbox.
To view webpages you put in your Sites folder:
Open a web browser and go to http://your.computer.address/~yourusername/.
To find your computer’s address, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then select Web Sharing. The address is displayed in the window.
For “yourusername,” use your account name, and make sure you include the ending slash (/). To find your account name, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accounts, and then select your account in the list.
You can also share a website on your computer by placing files in /Library/WebServer/Documents on your hard disk. To place files there, you must be logged in as an administrator. To view these pages, open a web browser and go to http://your.computer.address.
