Folder not appearing

Hello everyone,
I have a very frustrating issue with Adobe Content Viewer...
I have a folder that I have uploaded via InDesign and it has been made available to download on my friend's iPad when I have signed into it. However when I sign in on my iPad it does not appear to download from the cloud. We both have iPad2s and I sign in to the same login on both.
I have no idea what to do, and I really need this folder to appear on MY iPad!

Are you signed in? If so, I would remove the Content Viewer from both iTunes and the device, sync, and then reinstall the app.

Actions extension folder not appearing

So last week I downloaded the latest and greatest OSX 10.10... But I found an issue, and I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but in the extensions there isn't an "Actions" folder with plugins. I originally found out because I couldn't figure out how to get Markup working in the Mail app.
Here you can see my "Extensions" pane, and like I said, "Actions" does not appear.
What is the issue? Is there a solution to how to get the "Actions" folder and Markup up and running? Or should I just wait for a patch?

Working here, so I suspect a faulty installation. The only alternative is to reinstall. Hopefully, you saved a copy of that installer so you don't have to waste time, electricity, and bandwidth DLing the 5+ GB installer file again.

Photos in Data folder not appearing in iPhoto albums

I was looking through some older albums the other day and noticed that many of them only had 1 picture in them. It did not contain a bunch of other missing photos, but rather no other photos at all. After freaking out for a second, I went into the iPhoto Library ("Show package contents") and in the Data folder under the album name for that year, found the JPG files for all these photos.
Is there a way to "rebuild" the iPhoto database or something? It seems to not be synchronized with the contents of the Data folder. I'm wondering how many other albums this may have happened to.
I did recently (in the last 6 months) upgrade to iPhoto '08 so I'm wondering if it's some strange side effect of the upgrade process.

I was not messing around but rather confirming that there were still JPG files in there as opposed to them having disappeared completely.
3 - the photos in the data folder are not associated with albums - they are the thumbnails for displaying photos in events or albums
Cool, that helps. I checked the Originals folder and found the original JPGs there too. I'm sure they're not thumbnails because they are all 600KB+.
4 - you can rebuild by launching iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) and command (apple) keys and choosing the first three rebuild options - but this does not sound like a good bet
Why is rebuilding not a good idea?
5 - can you describe your situation in a bit more detail using the iPhoto terminology so we are all talking about the same things

Captivate Results folder not appearing

I am using the internal server method to report quiz results. I followed the tutorial and installed the Wamp server and have it running. I think the file internalServerReporting.php is the one that builds the Captivate Results folder. I got it so it worked once, but when I tried it with a different course it didn't work. It now doesn't work for the course it originally worked. Do you know why the Captivate Results folder is not automatically being published when I publish a course.

Apps Folder Not Appearing in iTunes?

I am switching notebooks (Windows) and have iTunes reloaded and my music transfered succesfully. I synced my iPhone and selected the option to move the purchased items from the to iTunes, but I don't see the apps anywhere in iTunes. I used to be able to see them in a folder, perform updates, etc. What am I doing wrong?

Go to the General tab of the iTunes preferences. Is the checkbox for "Apps" checkmarked? If not, that's your problem.

Role folder not appearing

Hi Experts,
I need to save work book under a specific Role. When I click on "Save Workbook as "...couldn't find the Roles folder only able to see Favorites.
To save a workbook to a role Iam maintaining the following authorisations and assigned to user.
S_USER_AGR: ACTVT = *,
ACT_GROUP = [name of the role ]
S_USER_TCD: TCD = RRMX
Please let me know.. am I missing some thing to enable Roles folder?

You must to add one report (query - woorkbook...) in the Menu from PFCG.
Then add this role to your user and then you can see this.

Photos folder not appearing using Home Sharing

My photos folder has stopped showing up in my home sharing section on AppleTV - it seemed to work fine a week or 2 ago but now has stopped working :-/ Music and movie still show however.
anybody have any ideas what may be the problem?

TS3989 Photos that I load on my PC to the Photo Stream folder, do not appear on my iPad. If I take a photo on my iPad, it does appear on my computer. I have set the options in iCloud to the appropriatefolder on my PC. How do I make it work?

Photos that I have uploaded to my PC do not appear on my iPad. It worked once and no longer works. I have selected the appropriate folder on my PC in the icloud control panel options. Photos that I take on my iPad appear on my PC so I know icloud is working in that direction. What can I do to make it owrk from PC to iPad? At the Apple store, I was told to uninstall iCloud, but when I selct the program, it does not give an uption to install.

This worked for many of us but not all. I uninstalled icloud, restarted my pc and reinstalled icloud from the apple site. Make sure you check and apply photostream from the icloud panel.

My downloads are not appearing in the download folder

(using mac) My download window--I can click on items that are there and "show in finder" and then they appear in the finder...but otherwise, my downloads folder has no new items in it and even if I search with the right file name, it will not appear.
I recently--the same date that the most recent file is appearing--went from one Mac to the other. No idea what is happening..

Did you check the settings for the download manager?
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > History: "Remember download history"
You can also see all downloads in the Downloads folder the Library (History > Show All History).
You can also check the <b>browser.download.manager.retention</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page and make sure that it still has the default value of 2 (manually remove downloads).

Photo album does not appear on the web but does in a published folder

**** everyone,
My problem is the following: I started to create little webpage with iweb. At the moment it just consist of a photo gallery, one blog entry and one video. To test it I published itto a folder on my hardisk and the website worked perfectly. So I uploaded it to my server (I have no .mac account). When opening the site over the internet the start page looks perfect, as well as the video page but on the album page the album doeas not appear!!!
The URL is: www.voyage64.com just click on "Photoalben" (it´s a german page) and there is just nothing, There should be an album which also appears in the page published to a folder on my harddrive.
Another thing that does not work is the blog. When you enter "blog" you will see the list with one entry listed, that works fine on the web but if you click on that entry it tells you that the file was not found on the server but it is there, this also works on the published folder on my hardrive. The confusing thing is: I´ve another website on my server with a blog with more entries that just works fine.
Maybe it´s something with the RSS because I tested other stuff and whenever the RSS logo is visible in the adressfield in the browser something does not work. I actually don´t need any of that RSS stuff but there is no way to disable that.
Maybe it´s a fault with my server but I´m not a specialist in stuff like that.

I followed the topic concerning the Firefox photoalbum problem but I´m using Safari and the albums will not show up on the web !!!! I also exchanged the detailview and headercontrol *js which worked fine for opening the photoalbum on my harddisk with firefox. But when its uploaded to the server it won´t display and that in Safari!!!! On the published folder on my harddisk everything works fine

Sent mail does not appear in sent mail folder

Hi. Odd problem. I have done a search for this but can't find an answer.
I have an IMAP account with PIPEX and mail will not display the sent messages.
Mail has 3 folders - Inbox, Sent, Trash.
IMAP account has 2 folders - INBOX and a sub folder sent-mail.
Inbox/INBOX syncs fine.
Nothing appears at all in Sent.
Sent messages sync ok, as (using finder) they appear in my library at myusername/library/mail/IMAP-(mylogin)/INBOX/sent-mail.imapmbox/Messages
For info, the inbox messages are stored at myusername/library/mail/IMAP-(mylogin)/INBOX.imapmbox/Messages.
For info again I have store sent messages on server selected in preferences (because I need to see them from another computer)
I have tried 'rebuild' several times on the inbox & the rebuild option is greyed out on the sent folder.
Can anyone help?

Hi Stringbag.
This account requires INBOX to be put in Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > IMAP Path Prefix for Mail to handle it properly. Mailboxes on the server should not appear as subfolders of the account’s Inbox in Mail.
After having done that, Mail should be able to properly save sent messages on the server, but maybe in a mailbox different from where you want them to be stored. To fix that, select the desired folder in Mail, and do Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For > Sent.
