Folder tree in only one windows

Hi,
is is possible to see a folder tree in only one window?
I mean, if I use the ConsumerCollectionTreeRenderer, I would see the tree divided in two frameworks. In the left framework the folder tree and in the right one the content of the selected folder.
What I really want is to see all the tree in only one framework, the tree and the framework.
Thanks in advance.
Regars.

  • How do I turn off the tab bar in FF 24 when only one window is open?

    I have just updated to FF 24.0 from FF 20 with Tab Mix Plus already installed. (OSX 10.6.8) From the Firefox Preferences menu, Tabs box, I have set the "Hide the tab bar:" option to "When I have only one tab." I have also gone to the Tab Mix Plus option box and set the drop down to the same value. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the desired effect. Firefox opens to my home page with a tab at the bottom. (I prefer the tabs at the bottom and that setting still works.) With only one page open, that tab is completely unnecessary, takes up space, and just plain bugs me.
    Now, here's what I have found. Once I've started Firefox, if I go to the Tab Mix Plus options box and select "Hide the tab bar: Always" and then set the option back to "When I have only one tab" I can enjoy one page without the tab bar, that is, until I've opened several tabs and then closed all but one. Then I see the tab bar stubbornly remain. An incompatibility between FF and Tab Mix Plus, perhaps. Is FF 24 not letting Tab Mix see the number of open tabs? Dunno. But I can't seem to solve it.

    Are you saying that the problem lies not with Firefox but with Tab Mix Plus? Tab Mix worked up through FF 20 to my knowlege. And I see from other questions that the persistant tab bar was an issue with FF 23 as well.
    Please note, that setting aside the extension issue, the Firefox preference Tab option should turn off the tab option when there is only one window open without any help from addons or extensions. I have disabled Tab Mix Plus, and set the FF option correctly, but the problem remains. As I see it, FF is not working as this user expects it to and is (slightly) broken.

  • I am no longer able to use a keyboard shortcut to close a window when there is only one window open.

    I can use Command+W when there are multiple tabs open to close one window at a time, but not when there is only one window remaining. It's driving me crazy because I have to click on the red dot. It won't close with File > Close either. Nothing changed (that I know of) from last week to this that would cause this. It works fine in safe mode but I can't figure out what's conflicting. Also, I've tried reinstalling Firefox but that did nothing. Help?

    Problem solved! It's the Evernote add-on. They updated something on November 6. I've disabled it until that quirk is fixed. Thanks.

  • No tabs are showing when only one window open. How do I open a new tab?

    Just upgraded to latest version. When only one window is open, no tabs show across the top. If I have two tabs open, both show across the top, but go to no tabs if I close one of them. And, the + sign is available for opening a third tab if at least two are open. The only way I can find to open a new tab when only one window is currently open is to turn off the menu, click the orange Firefox drop-down, and click New Tab. Why isn't it showing a tab, and a + tab (to open a new one) when only one tab (window) is open.

    Thanks everyone for the quick responses. Cntl + T works fine, and I did move the + window to the nav bar, which also works well.
    I had already gone into options and checked the box for always showing the tab bar, but it doesn't show it. I even unchecked it, saved the settings, the rechecked and saved the settings. Doesn't seems to make any difference.
    I'm okay with it not showing a tab when I only have one open, just so I can get to a new one easily when I want it.

  • Firefox 23.0 doesn't warn me when closing multiple tabs, unless only one window is open.

    I've selected the option for Firefox 23.0 to warn me before I try closing windows with multiple tabs. If only one window is open and that window has multiple tabs, I receive the warning. If more than one window is open and multiple tabs are open in any or all of them, the warning doesn't appear until I get to the final open window.

    hello, the message is only there by design if you close the whole browser with still a few tabs open in it (and also only when you choose not to store browser history). if you want to restore one of multiple windows closed during a session you can do so from the history menu or the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+N.

  • Timeline Video Video Not Playing Under Only One Windows Profile

    Hello.  We have an Adobe CS6 install with Premiere Pro version 6.0.5 installed and fully updated.  The problem we are having is that the video playback from the timeline is not working when logged in under one Windows profile only.  The software was originally installed under the "administrator" profile and that is where everything works fine.  However, when Premiere is brought up under the user profile the video playback doesn't work.  I have updated CS6, the video card drivers (NVidia Quadro KV4000), cleaned as many Windows and Adobe caches and verified that the Premiere General Settings are the same under each profile.  Both profiles are domain logins and not local machine profiles and both users have been explicitly granted full administrator rights on the computer.  This issue also just cropped up under the user profile and didn;t occur after initial computer setup in November.  Does anyone have any idea what else we can try?  Thank you, and here are more specs:
    - HP Z820 workstation w/ 3.3GHX Xeon E5-2643 quad core
    - Win 7 64-bit
    - 16GB RAM
    - 1TB 10000RPM boot/system drive
    - 2TB 10000RPM reserved solely as "source" drive for Premiere files
    - 2TB 10000RPM reserved solely as "destination" drive for Premiere files (preview files stored on this drive)
    - external Canopus ADVC110 used for capture of analog video using FireWire connector

    profiles are domain logins and not local machine profiles
    That's often been a problem with Adobe software.

  • When I want to close only one window it closes all of them. How do I close just one.

    I only want to close one window. How can I do this without closing them all. But for this, I would use Mozilla all the time.
    Thanks, Joyce

    You do not mention what your Operating System is. You should be able to close only one firefox window, and then finally exit from firefox as a whole by using Firefox Button -> exit.
    Also or alternatively consider use [[tabbed browsing]].

  • Sometimes I just want to close ONLY one window, but Firefox is closing ALL TABS, and I don't want this!

    I sometimes will open several windows, especially from my Comcast mailbox. When I am through with that window, I will close it, but leave the other ones open. FIrefox won't do this any more, When I close 1 window, Firefox send me a message stating that it is CLOSING ALL TABS. I DONT WANT TO CLOSE all of them, I just want to close the window I am closing!. This is very annoying, because I have to re-log back into everything, because FIrefox is "CLOSING ALL TABS", and all I want to to close ONE window...I am about ready to chuck this browser....I tried to find an answer to this in tools, but was unable to do so. Please help me with this

    Use CTRL+W - to close the surrent tab.

    * You can open the Firefox 4.0+ Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.

  • Change view options for only one window

    Usually I prefer to view my windows as icons, but I like certain specific windows to show up in list mode. On 10.4, in the View Options, there was an option for "This window only" but that seems to be missing in 10.5. Am I just blind???

    I agree. i enjoyed that feature in 10.4. It drives me nuts that if I want to change the view options for one folder because of the way I want to view its specific contents, the rest of folders on my system changes at the same time. I would appreciate it if each folder had a "memory" of its own view option settings.
    However, I acknowledge that sometimes you would want to change a setting that affect all windows. But it shouldn't overwrite the remainder of the settings. If, for example, you wanted to change the text size of every icon in every window, but leave everything else as set in each individual folder, there should be an option for this!

  • I have only one window open, and get a warning when I exit that "You are about to close multiple tabs."

    I have Firefox 8 for Vista, and according to the "About" screen, Firefox is up to date. I heard this might be a problem with my plugins, so I updated them all. Still a problem. I disabled all my plugins and add-ons and still got the message.

    ONLY 8 people have this problem?
    Look, virtually all Mozilla's potential users are coming from Internet Exploder, which gets this ALMOST RIGHT, while FireF*x does it totally wrong. Including in webmail: there's no way I could have got to this forum without leaving 4 windows active or closing everything, including closing my mail without logging out.
    ONLY 8 PEOPLE? How many thousand simply throw up their hands & uninstall yr f- nurdware over this one single issue? Not to bore you with details, but I'm hardly unsympathetic to open sources that don't look like the best argument for Micros**t and Google hegemony.
    Btw, I said they get it -almost- right... It would be really nice if IE or >somebody< offered a checkbox to NEVER close multiple tabs. Look, if this bug disguised as a feature is useful to a few nurds by all means keep it as an advanced option, but PLEASE set up FireFox so it at least defaults to the real world.

  • Only one window opens at a time

    I bought the new 27" imac, partly because of the extra work space it gave me on the screen.  So you can imagine my frustration to find that I can only open one app window at a time. In other words, let's say I have safari open.  I click on the evernote icon in the dock. The evernote app opens quickly, but safari disappears in the dock, leaving only the evernote window open on the screen.    My goal is to have both the safari and evernote apps (for example) open at the same time, side by side on the screen.
    I played with mission control and general in system preferences, but nothing seemed to work.  One potential culprit is C-Dock, which allows you to customize the dock. (It's not very good.)  I want to uninstall it, but can't find the app in finder or anywhere else.  The only cdock file I find is a small read.me file. I have gone to the original site where I downloaded and registered, but I never got a confirmation.
    Any suggestions, both for ensuring multiple windows can be open on my big screen at the same time, and for getting rid of my cDock headache??
    Thanks,
    Nick

    There's a few extensions that are causing a problem like that. See this:

  • Only One Window instance

    Hi,
    In my application I can open a window (JFrame) from a menu option. If I select this menu option again another instance of this screen is created. How can I ensure that if the menu option is selected multiple times that it will only open one instance of the window and if that windo w is open use that instance.
    Thanks again gurus!
    Dude

    You could do something like this...
    JFrame childWindow = null;
    private void displayChild(){
        if (childWindow == null){
           childWindow = new JFrame();
        childWindow.setVisible(true);
    }
