Folders for Apps on the iPhone
Hello.
Wouldn't it be easier if we could have folders on our iPhone where we could sort our apps into. Instead of flicking through all windows, I could have a folder for "News" for example. I have 6 different apps for daily news and they take a lot of space, so if I would have a folder for news I would have only one space used on the main window and when I open the news folder I get only what I want and what I need. Hope this makes sense. I have to see at work and private I like to work with folders on my computers.
Maybe apple could have a look into this.

when I wanted to update my existing apps on the iPhone, I
got the message that I can only use the Suisse Apps store.
But how does that work?? Can I still update my existing Apps ?? How can I make my iPhone connects to the Suisse App Store ??

after doing all the latest updates to both my iphone 4s and itunes the itunes store app on the iphone just dissapeared. Now i can't purchase any media. How can i get itunes store app back on my iphone?
If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > iTunes being set 'off' ?

I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma). I have synced it before successfully. I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts). I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem. I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem. I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped! Thank you.

First message I get when I connect the iphone is
"The software on iphone has expired and must be updated to a newer version"
Then it tries to backup but I get
"Itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone could not be determined"
When I click check for updates it says I have the latest version (5.0)
When I try to restore I always get "iTunes could not backup the iphone because a session could not be started with the iphone. Please disconnect and reconnect the iphone, then try again"
Tried that MANY times but no luck.
This iphone was on a developper account but it is not anymore (removed from developper account).
I'm the administrator on my PC. When I'm on the summary of my iphone it shows N/A as my phone number.
Back up to icloud doesn't work because I didn't set it up before it stopped working
When I try to activate it directly from the iphone I always get "Could not activate iphone. Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarely unavailable..." (for the past 3 weeks :s)
I can access my music and everything from itunes.
I even tried to restore it from the ispw file (using shift + restore) but I got an error message (sorry I don't remember which one) but it didn't work.
I also tried device manager, select PC, scan hardware for changes (read it worked for some) but not for me after that I don't get the

I backed up my iphone 4 and did an upgrade and changed my Apple ID and password but my phone has not recognised the new ID to upgrade my apps via the iphone. How do I get rid of the old Apple ID when it comes to upgrading apps.
I have been into setting>store and signed out and signed back in and it still asks for old ID and password.Everything you've had up to now has been tied to your old Apple ID. You cannot switch it over to a new Apple ID. You should contact iTunes support to help you with this:

If you are having trouble reading your texts you can increase the font size until it becomes clear. Put in a feature request for the colour change though, it won't happen unless people ask for it.

More than likely the app you are trying to download requires an iOS higher than iOS 4.2.1, which is the highest iOS you can put on the iPhone 3G. It is up to the developer regarding support for older iOS, and most have gone past iOS 4.2.1. The only alternative is the purchase of a new phone, or not use the app.

That is not a feature of the Mail app. Check with your email provider to see if it's a service they offer.

itunes cannot sync app to the iphone' my_iphone_name_here'because the apps installed on the iphone could not be determinedI also got this message when trying to sync my 3G iPhone. I followed several suggestions found here: tried restarting everything, then changing automatic updates in iTunes. I also tried the "scan for hardware changes" suggestion, but nothing worked. Then as per the above posters, I also went into iTunes, selected Apps, and went to the bottom right to get App updates. A list of needed updates appeared with the icons, and as they updated, the icon would disppear, until I was left with "SoundCloud". It appeared to update fine, but the icon remained. I clicked "get update" a couple of times on the icon....it would update but the icon stayed on the list. I tried to sync after this and still got the error. . Then I then deleted SoundCloud from the phone, and the sync worked fine. SoundCloud was reinstalled on my phone during Step 4 of the sync. Hope this helps!!

iMac losing wiffi connection with airport express when sleeping. I can't wake the iMac with the remote app on the iPhone. when i open airportconfiguration on the iphone is see that the imac isn't connected anymore. Normaly the airport express wake up the iMac but it doens't. What is wrong?

I log in to apple.com and change my password but iTunes& app store on my phone displayed the same strange email address.
I went to settings/ iTunes &App Store and it shows my email.
Question what’s happed and how to fix it?

Kind of unfair. I get the cheapest ones on my Nook and all my friends that have Iphones and Ipads are free.
